  • Robin + Curzon-
    Robin trotted back to camp, wanting to see Curzon. Sighing and muttering about the new cats, something caught her eye.
    “Wha- Curzon! Koi Scale! What are you doing out of camp? What about there’s a badger do you not understand?!” Robin shot daggers at both kits, before Curzon spoke up.
    “W-well it was my I-idea. And w-we were about to h-head back to camp!” Curzon was shaking slightly, terrified of his worried mother’s wrath.
    “I’ll deal with you later. But, yes, we are heading back to camp now. So come on.”

    • Koi Scale followed closely to Curzon. “Wow, you’re mom’s scary,” he murmured, making sure the she-cat didn’t hear.

  • Ice Shadow quietly followed Sojourn, making sure she could scent or see him at all times. She stayed back enough that she wouldn’t interfere with his hunting. As an older kit, her hunting training was minimal. She hoped that she’d be able to glean some skills from watching her new friend. That way she could be a better hunter than Koi Scale when their parents decided to train them fully. She grinned silently at the thought. Finally, she’d be better at something!
    Her thoughts were interrupted by a rustle in the bushes. A mouse peeked out from under a fern. Ice Shadow looked over at Sojourn. Had he seen it too? Or scented it? Ice Shadow crouched. If he hadn’t, she could maybe catch it… Frowning, she sat back, making sure not to disturb any leaves or sticks. But it he had seen it… she didn’t want to interrupt his hunt. Best to wait and see what he would do.

    • Sojourn (prepare for him to confuse Ice Shadow )

      Sojourn saw the mouse and began to look at the surroundings. A thick bush blocked one exit, and a stone another. It was a bit too open for his liking, but Sojourn didn’t want to hunt downwind. He started to get in position, and when the wind was blowing from behind him, sending his scent towards the mouse. Quickly, it caught on, and began to scamper away, but as Sojourn ran, he herded it into tighter and tighter corners. Tiny paws began to trip over themselves, as the mouse scrambled away, slowing down as Sojourn blocked its possible exits. Then it felt claws hit it’s spine and everything went black. Sojourn rose it a mouse in his jaws. The kill was messy and warm blood coated Sojourns claws, but at least the prey wasn’t completely ruined.
      “Uh I completely failed ! “ Sojourn mewed to Ice Shadow , “ it’s a terrible kill.”

      • “Better than I could’ve done,” Ice Shadow noted. “I don’t really know how to hunt that well. Koi Scale is better.”

  • Primrose –
    Prim looked around for Koi Scale. She turned her head abruptly at the sound of footsteps, dropping her herbs. She groaned, growing hot.
    Primrose would need help to pick these up. She wished Diamond were here to help. Her sister was probably out hunting.
    Oh, no! If Ice Shadow, or more importantly, Koi Scale, see me, what will they think of me?
