  • Coyotehowl-
Noticing Sweetsoft go into a barn she followed. “Sweetsoft!” she said noticing the she-cat talking with another cat. She noticed Chirp standing next to Sweetsoft. “What are you doing here!?”

    • “Did the whole clan follow me?!” Sweetsoft hissed in irritation. Oleander’s eyes were wide with fear. Sweetsoft put a paw in front of her friend. “Don’t touch her,” she growled. “She’s expecting kits. She’s not going to hurt you, and I won’t let you hurt her.”

      • Coyotehowl-
“Okay.” she said dipping her head. She looked at Oleander’s belly, which was noticeable swollen. “I won’t tell anyone that you met with her. Do you need any help?” she asked looking at Oleander, and Sweetsoft. “Actually, I need to go. I won’t tell anyone Sweetsoft, don’t worry.” Coyote howl said and raced off, towards her half-brothers. As the roofs of the towel dens came into view she slowed down a bit. She looked back to make sure nobody was following her, then walked into the twoleg place. “Berry! Campion!” she said and started purring when she saw the two toms sunning themes on a fence. Campion, a reddish brown tom with green eyes looked up. Berry his littermate, a white tom with black splotches stood up to greet Coyotehowl.

  • “Sorry,” Sweetsoft repeated to Oleander. She put the flower crown she had brought on her head. “Chirp, this is Oleander. Has anyone ever told you how I was in Foxclan for a little bit? Well, while I was there, that’s when we became friends. One day we decided to explore, and we stumbled across… something we shouldn’t have seen. Since they couldn’t kill a Cherished, she was marked to be killed the second she wasn’t one anymore. I helped her escape. I visit her on the occasion.”

    • Chirp –

“You lived in FoxClan ! No way ! Aren’t they like super duper evil and stuff ? That’s sooooo cool !”
He was practically vibrating with excitement, this was a real, adventure !

      • “Yes. None of the current nursery cats had enough milk for me, so they sent me to Foxclan temporarily. Even if I owe them my life, none of that can amend how they hurt Oleander.” Sweetsoft’s eyes shone with a fierce protectiveness. “Sweetsoft! There’s no need to scare the little one.” Oleander rebuked. “She has a point.” a voice said. Sweetsoft turned around and faced a gray tom. “Aaron!” Oleander said, standing up to greet her mate. “So this is Sweetsoft?” Aaron asked. Oleander nodded. “And who’s the kit?” “Chirp. He followed me.” Sweetsoft replied.

        • Chirp –

Chirp grinned up at the other cats
          “Don’t worry Miss Oleander, Sweetsoft didn’t scare me ! I’m a warrior !”
He growled, getting into a little battle stance.

  • Icicle may have been the only cat not to follow Sweetsoft, He was playing with his bee, the short tom had been able to keep Mr. Buzzington alive so far, he know had a flower in his paw and was playing a game he’d made up called ‘Chase the flower’ with him, Icicle was happy with this however, He enjoyed having Mr. Buzzington around

((Yall, should I kill Mr. Buzzington off?))

  • Dawn padded quickly out of camp, sniffing the bushes for the kits’s sweet scent.
“Where in MoonClan’s name?” She hissed, also noticing another scent.
    Was that?
“Sweetsoft?” Dawn’s fur bristled, turning to face her mini patrol.
    “I’ve got a scent!”

  • “We have to go.” Sweetsoft picked up Chirp by the scruff. “If anyone asks, just say we were looking for flowers.” Sweetsoft padded back onto Briarclan land, plucking a few pretty flowers and weaving a flower crown. She set down Chirp and put it on his head. “There. You look adorable.” Her eyes shone with affection. Out of the encounter, she was back to her normal self. Sweetsoft picked him up again and tore through the forest, only to run straight into the patrol.

    • Dawn’s fur bristled.
“Sweetsoft?” Dawn noticed Chirp had a small flower crown. “What were you doing with Chirp?”

      • “Relax! We just went out on a walk to find flowers. Look, he’s fine. I would never let him get hurt.” Sweetsoft’s eyes shone with an unreadable light. “Is this because you don’t trust me? Maybe because I was once in Foxclan? Is that why nobody here listens?” She growled. “Yes, you have to protect your poor little ones from the mean fox-heart, is that it? Her voice flared with sarcasm. “Come on, Chirp. Let’s go back to camp.” She turned tail and walked away pointedly. She walked away, crying silently. (Note: only Chirp is in the right position to know this.) Her walk slowly turned to a run, and she picked up Chirp so he wouldn’t fall behind.

        • Dawn chased after Sweetsoft, her tail lashing.
“Do not assume I care about your past, my job is to be unbiased.” Dawn stood behind Sweetsoft, growling. (So she can’t see her crying)
“My job is also to protect my clan mates.” The white she-cat smelled a familiar scent, but shook her head. “So why didn’t anyone else know Chirp left?”

          • Juniper Breeze –

Juniper Breeze’s whiskers quivered in excitement. Oh, this was dramatic. She loved it.

          • (This one’s long oof) (warning: Sweetsoft going full drama queen mode)
Sweetsoft’s tail lashed, and she turned around to face Dawn. Tears still fell as she stared the white and orange she-cat in the eyes. “Because none of you pay any attention! Originally, I was going to go alone, but then Chirp followed me! If you care so much about your job, then why don’t you actually do it instead of strutting around like you own the entire world? I don’t care how ‘special’ you are, just because you’re a judge and I’m a nursery cat! If jobs are so important to you, then why don’t you trust me to do mine?” she snapped. She was struggling to talk through her sobs. She wiped her paw across her face and took off in another direction. She crashed around in the bush right next to Iciclenose but didn’t notice him. Sweetsoft tore through the ferns, eventually stopping in a clearing lit by moonlight. One tree stood in the center. Sweetsoft felt the night’s chill through her fur, but she didn’t care. She tripped and fell down in the middle of the clearing. Oleander was the only one who trusted me, and soon I won’t even have her anymore. She has a mate, and soon she’ll have kits. I won’t even have her to talk to. Sweetsoft could feel her eyes burning, and tears fell onto the blades of grass beneath her. She looked down. She was surprised to see flecks of frost in the grass. It is really cold out tonight… Is Chirp okay? Guilt flooded her head. Maybe it’s wise not to trust me. She felt the tears begin to flood again, along with pangs of exhaustion. She vaguely felt the biting chill as she drifted into blackness.

            • Chirp –

Chirp’s ears drew back and his fur stood on end as the cats fought. Juniper Breeze seemed to be standing away from it all, so the little kit rushed and buried his face in her fur
              “Why are they fighting ?”
              He mewed quietly

  • Lilytrust –

Lilytrust walked into camp, carrying a squirrel she’d just caught. She set it down and stretched her back, looking around at Briarclan. Someday, all of this would be hers. All the cats bustling around with their jobs, the wonderful uniformity of it all. Briarleaf. It had a nice ring to it.
She cast an eye around to see if everything was going well.

    • Dawn stalked into the camp, her white pelt bristling. She made sure to avoid Sweetsoft, and made sure Chirp was safe, before heading towards the fresh kill pile.

  • Sweetsoft avoided everyone for the most part, only showing basic diplomacy. Better not spread my cold , she thought. She was looking at the predawn light when she tripped over Iciclenose, twisting to avoid Mr. Buzzington. She landed awkwardly on her paw, a flare of pain running through the limb. “Ow!” she yelped.
