DARKWINDS
You wake up in an unfarmiliar place. Your head aches like nothing you’ve ever felt before. You can’t remember anything – your name, who you are, your life – it’s all gone. The only thing that sticks out is a single blurry memory. A name comes to you from the memory. Pain tears at you, but there’s something else.
You feel…energized.
Something is flowing through your veins, faster and faster, a second blood. It powers you, overflowing, faster and faster.
Voices whisper in your head.
While you sleep, we are rising.
When you wake, we are waiting.
You don’t see us, but we are you.
We are one.
Our time has come.

Every cat knows the story. Long ago, when every cat had powers – fire, air, water, earth, nature, ice, light, and dark – Raven, a cat with dark powers, rose to destroy the cats of the universe. He summoned an army. The others that fought Raven, led by Gatekeeper, used up the last of their powers to stop him. The powers, along with the cats, supposedly died out.
But there’s something no cat knows.
A single shred of Raven’s powers escaped.
Now, it’s come back.
It wants to take back the cats it lost.
And use them to destroy what Raven could not.

Throughout the roleplay, every cat’s powers will grow. They will start to act on their own.
Every once in a while, the powers will choose a cat to kill. After the cat is killed, something comes after, known as the Gray, but that’s a secret for now. As the cats approach the Day of the Dark, the anniversary of the day Raven was defeated, their powers become unstoppable.
Something is growing under the earth. Spreading…consuming…killing…

Powers:
Powers are chosen by me and given to you during the first stages of the roleplay. I based the powers off Maple’s roleplay powers:

Fire
Begins with: small infernos and heat creation
Ends with: the ability to create huge infernos and severely burn things; firestorms

Air
Begins with: weak gusts and the ability to block the sun with clouds
Ends with: creating huge wind gusts and controlling the weathern tornados/hurricanes

Water
Begins with: small whorlpools and waves
Ends with: the ability to make huge whorlpools and waves and breath underwater for short periods of time; tsunamis

Earth
Begins with: small quakes in the earth
Ends with: large quakes in the earth and the shaping of land

Nature
Begins with: growing small plants out of the ground and moving plants without the wind
Ends with: growing plants, moving plants, sleeping gas

Ice
Begins with: making objects slightly colder and making it snow
Ends with: freezing things, making ice, making snonw; blizzards

Light
Begins with: making things slightly brighter and being able to slightly blend into the background
Ends with: making rays of light and blinding cats, being invisible

Dark
The dark power is extremely dangerous. It devours everything in its path and can kill cats in an instant. There is only one cat that will have this power, known as the Darkhorror. No one knows who the Darkhorror is. They can kill cats, but only with my permission.

3. Never, ever control other peoples’ cats
4. Ask before making major plot changes, such as kits
5. Keep your characters active – they will temporarily be killed if they go inactive
