Unrelated, but I found a secret page with the artwork Kat made for last year’s Pride Month round up
Do you want it, because the picture may be better suited to an LGBTQ+ Discussion Page 😀
I think this page is okay, but maybe that page could be a discussion page for LGBTQ+ ships! 😀
Your Obedient Servant
Here it is if you want it 😀

Raven x Barley and Tall x Jake are both semi-canon 🙂
Your Obedient Servant

Hi Turty (can I call u that?)! I’m genderfluid and pan
I was curious – people call their female partners wives and male partners husbands. What would be a term for a non-binary partner? thx
Spouse or partner are the most common ones! I think there are some more niche terms, and of course it depends on the person, but those two are what most people use!
there’s no official word for it that i know of, but common ones include partner or significant other – i’m sure it really depends on the comfort of the specific person as to what they’d want to be referred to as
You can call me anything as long as it’s Blog appropriate 😀
And it really depends on the person’s preference! I think that if I had a girlfriend, I’d want her to call me her partner, but other people might prefer to be called a significant other, or something else all together!
Your Obedient Servant
i don’t know but i’ve heard of ‘joyfriend’ rather than boyfriend or girlfriend.
maybe ‘significant other’ or ‘partner’?
I just have a question- how do you use she/they or he/they pronouns?
For me personally, I’m just cool with people referring to me with either! I don’t mind if they use one set (like “She’s an artist. Also she likes writing.”) or use them interchangeably (like “They’re an artist. Also she likes writing.”) but that changes based on the individual!
Even though I don’t use they/them, here’s a little guide!
Where you would say he, you’d say they
So He really like pickles becomes they really like pickles!
Where you would say him, you’d say them
So Bristlefrost reminds me of him becomes Bristlefrost reminds me of them!
Where you would say his, you’d say their
So Dalmatians are his favourite dog breed becomes Dalmatians are their favourite dog breed!
Where you would say himself, you’d say themselves
So Bob doesn’t like maths, he said it himself becomes Bob doesn’t like maths, they said it themselves!
BTW some people also use themself! Both are correct, but it depends on the person’s preference- I personally use themself 😀
Your Obedient Servant
Ooh thank you!
Everyone else answered pretty well! 😀
Your Obedient Servant
it means you’re generally okay with both! for instance you could certainly say:
She likes cake. She also likes donuts.
But you could say:
She likes cake. They also like donuts.
Or:
They like cake. They also like donuts.
But it depends on the person (some people like to have their pronouns rotated, some people prefer to use a particular pronoun over some others).
Hi Turtle! I’m not sure what I am, I think either bi or lesbian but I’m not really sure, and all the quizzes I take aren’t really helpful.
I reckon your intuition is more helpful than quizzes when it comes to stuff like that, since no one knows what sexuality you are except you
You have all the time in the world to figure it out 🙂
A quiz is generally not the best way to determine your sexuality- only you can do that! 🙂
Figuring out your sexuality can be difficult ;(
Here’s a more detailed explanation on what both lesbian and bisexual means, maybe that will help?
Lesbian: Often, this word is used to describe a woman who is attracted to other woman, however, it can also be used to describe a gender fluid or non-binary person attracted to women. (I’m a non-binary lesbian, actually!) It can also be used when one is attracted to other fem-aligned people (Demi girls, for example.)
Bisexual- Bisexual is when you’re attracted to two or more genders! So you could be attracted to males and females, non-binary people, gender fluid people, and Demi boys- that’s all totally valid! But yeah, bisexual simply means you’re attracted to two or more genders.
Maybe try paying close attention to your crushes? That can help! I actually thought I was bi until almost two years ago when I realized all of my male crushes were fictional, and I seriously couldn’t imagine being with a boy in real life- only a girl.
Best of luck! 💖

Just wondering, is transgender a term that can be used for anyone who’s gender isn’t what they were assigned at birth? Eg. Can someone who’s Non-binary also be called transgender?
yep. the white band in the transgender flag represents nonbinary people. now it’s possible not all nonbinary people consider themselves trans, and may prefer to not use that label, but they are clearly welcomed and included in the trans community if that’s what they want^^
Ok, thanks 😀
yep! trans is basically this giant umbrella term that’s for anybody who doesn’t identify with their birth gender (so not cisgender) from what i understand!
birchy explained it very well though :))
What Birchy said ^^ 😀
I personally don’t use the label transgender, but plenty of other non-binary people do. 🙂 Whatever makes them comfortable is best! <3

How do people use he/they or he/she/they or he/she pronouns?
It depends on the person, but I often see people fine with using it interchangeably.
So for someone with he/she pronouns for example, you could say both “he is super cool” and “she is super cool” when referring to them!
If you don’t mind, I’ll just copy-paste my answer from above! 😊
As someone who uses she/they pronouns, I’m personally just cool with people referring to me with either! I don’t mind if they use one set (like “She’s an artist. Also she likes writing.”) or use them interchangeably (like “They’re an artist. Also she likes writing.”) but that changes based on the individual!
Basically, it’s just more options on how to refer to a person!
