  • Parrot stared after her. “Oh . . . she’s not the one.” But Parrot noticed her nervous stance, and how she was a little twitchy, and she knew she was lying. Parrot decided not to confront her right now. She looked around for another cat to talk to.

  • Echo-
Echo really hoped that Spirit and Honor would approve of what he was doing. They had sent him, a lowly god who wasn’t even on the Court to search for the Elemental Stones. They could’ve sent Flow or Volcano, but no, they sent him.

Echo took a deep breath, looking at the cats on the island below. “I just want to say a few things. While any cat can touch a stone and gain its power, no matter their reasons, they can only possess and harness the power of one stone. The journey will be hard, with lots of challenges and decisions to make. Do you feel as if you are ready?”

    • “…Probably not. But I’m not sure I have a choice.” Torrent replied, her voice carrying a troubled tone. “If I don’t try now, I may never get another chance. I’m in!” The she-cat’s gaze swirled like a storm, a mixture of determination and fear.

    • Seashell-
“Of course I am!” she snapped. “I want those powers,” she said with a growl, “and I want them now.”
(She’s really mean. Sorry about that. hehehe)

      • Sleet-
Sleet hissed. She didn’t like this arrogant, greedy she-cat. “We all want that power. But some of us are doing it for our kingdom.” She glamced at Echo. “I’m ready.”

    • Bo / Tammy –

Tamarin took a deep breath, closing her eyes and trying to picture being anywhere apart from here
      “I suppose.”
Anything to save Bromeliad, she thought, shaking the nerves out of her fur

  • (ok, Sunpaw, I made a second character. Will you go and look at him?)

  • Sunset-
The island. Echo’s introduction. It had all happened so quickly.

He wanted, no, needed, to do this. His family and other families just like his were on the streets of Scorpius, starving and barely able to live by. Couldn’t King Smolder or Queen Agave, or any of the rich aristocrats do anything?

Sunset looked at Echo straight in the eye. “I was born ready.”

    • “Hey sweetheart!” Dusk padded over, to the silver she-cat, his tail swishing. “What’s a pretty She-cat like you doing looking for rocks?” He quickly noticed her macaw earring.
That looks nice. Not my style, but I’m sure someone will want it.
“That’s a nice earring you have! Very beautiful, just like you.”

(I forgot to mention Dusk is a horrible flirt who uses his eyes to rob you blind 😛 oops)

  • “Of course I’m ready. Do I have any choice?” scoffed Frost. She didn’t really feel ready, but she had no choice, it was her birthright. Someone had to bring back glory to the Northern Kingdom, and according to her father, the Icy Spirits had chosen her, not her perfect older brother, the traitor. She was the one who would bring back honor to her family, her kingdom.

  • Echo’s tail flicked as you feel a tingling feeling in your paws. Instinctively, you close your eyes as you feel the island disappearing. After some time, you feel solid ground, though it feels rocky and dusty. You feel lots of heat and light, and hear a roaring sound.

    Your eyes open.

The first thing you notice is the walls. It’s rocky, layered, tall, and in varying shades of orange and red. It’s beautiful. The next thing you notice is a giant, rushing river near you, and then the heat of the sun and the dryness.

You’re in the canyons of the Southern Kingdom.

Echo is there as well, though he is wearing a pale green cloak. You can see the tips of his white wings. There’s another cat there, a black-and-white she-cat with a distinctive fluffy white-tipped black tail. She has wings, like Echo, but they are dark green.

“This is Spell,” Echo introduces. “One of the six gods on the Court. She’s the goddess of magic, and she’s cast an enchantment so that no tourists will come here today.”

Spell dips her head, and disappears in a shower of green fireworks.

Echo flicks his tail to the other side of the canyon, where three identical caverns are carved into the canyon. “In each of these caverns is an egg. These eggs are identical. If you crack the eggs, you will get the direction in which the Fire Stone is in. It’s vague, but you’ll get a broad sense of direction. But beware, since only one egg has the correct direction.”

You nod in understandment. But how will you cross? Looking at the river, you see a wooden bridge, above the water. It doesn’t look very stable, but if you go quickly enough, you’ll be able to cross. To the right is a cluster of rocks, jutting out of the water. Water splashes on them, but it looks stable.

    Which do you choose?

(Just so you know, you will need to specify whether your characters are crossing over the bridge or the rocks. Also, you need two roleplay posts to cross over.)

This might be confusing, so I’ll show what I mean by using my characters.

    Sleet-
Sleet looked at her two options that she had. The bridge was well over the water, but it didn’t look very stable. Plus, Sleet was more built for strength, not speed, and the water splashing over the rocks would keep her paws cool in this heat. Without hesitation, she padded towards the rocks.

(Sleet has chosen to cross the rocks and has 0/2 posts left.)

    Sunset-
Sunset watched the pale gray she-cat cross the rocks. He hadn’t known that Northern Kingdom cats liked water. Those rocks required a lot of jumping to do, and he wasn’t going to do that. If he could just go fast enough, he could easily cross the bridge.

(Sunset has chosen to cross the bridge and has 0/2 posts left.)

    • Robin watched two cats cross, one with the rocks, another, the bridge. She had always trusted nature, not unnatural strucures. That was what her father would want her to do, of course. SHw could practically feel him nudging her along. She quickly leaped towards the rocks without hesitating.

  • Parrot stared awkwardly at the tom, then she was there, in the canyon. She looked at her two options and chose the bridge. Parrot was lightweight and quick. She hurried over to the bridge.

    • Bo –

Bo looked from the rocks to bridge. Many cats had began to scramble across the bridge as quickly as possible
Leaning closer to Torrent, she whispered in the cat’s ear
“Take the rocks, there are too many cats on the bridge, it might give way any second.”
She took a deep breath, hoping this wasn’t a trick, she didn’t want to die.
Scrambling up the first rock, she found water hitting her paws, and pushed her body closer to the rocks, hoping it would make her more stable

      • Post 2 for Bo crossing the rocks –

Once she was sure she was steady on the first rock, Tammy shakily, stretches out a paw, reaching out for the next rock. She found she had to stand to help herself cross them, so took a deep breath and rose higher on her paws, stepping over the rocks slowly one by one.

  • Dusk eyed the earring still, growling softly as the She-cat hurried away.
Dusk was equipped to the climate, and he confidently trotted to the rocks, and leapt at them.

Nectarine eyed both the bridge and rocks. Both reminded her of home, but she decided the bridge would be best.

  • Mangrove –

Mangrove looked at the rocks and the bridge. Looking down at his one leg that ended in a stump, and the rushing water. If too much water came, he would easily be washed off the rocks. However, the bridge looked unstable, and as a swamp kingdom cat, he wasn’t the lightest. But, it was more certain then crossing the rocks and being knocked off, so he carefully put one paw on the bridge and began to walk over the flimsy bridge slowly

    • Post two for Mangrove –

The tom felt the bridge move under his paws and nearly took a step back. But looking down at the water below him, he took another step and kept walking, and everytime he doubted that it was going to hold, he just had to remember that at least here he couldn’t be swept away into the water

  • Sleet(1/2, crossing the rocks)-
Sleet jumped from rock to rock, trying to maintain her balance. She thought of the cats who were taking the bridge, which was far too unstable. They’d just fall and get swept by the river.

    Sunset(1/2, crossing the bridge)-
Sunset grinned. He was nearly halfway through, further than any cat had gone on this challenge. He’d made the right choice.

  • The rocks get slicker as you reach the halfway point, and you try not to slip. To make it even worse, the water level has rose, hitting your legs and nearly throwing you off-balance.

You hear a crack coming from somewhere. You turn around, and on the side that all the cats are at, the bridge is cracking due to the weight if all the cats.
