  • Bo / Tammy –

As Spell looked at her with comforting eyes, Bo smiled, feeling her eyes begin to water with tears. She had been worrying about making the wrong descion about her secret nearly every second. But if a god thought it was right, then she would keep the secret.
But now cats seemed to be more suspicious of her. Secrets ? What secrets ?
So, they were going to the desert. The desert that Bo was being held in. Maybe, just maybe she could find Bo and bring her back and be done with this before it all got any worse.

    Mangrove –
As the egg seemed to not budge, Mangrove went to the water, and began splashing more towards the egg, hoping it would loosen

  • To Cavern A:
The dissolving stops. You put more water, but the egg doesn’t change. You start to panic. Have you done something wrong?

Suddenly thick mist fills the air, making it impossible to see. It dissolves as quickly as it comes, and it spells one word: southwest. You must go southwest to find the Fire Stone.

Rising from the mist is a black-and-white she-cat with dark green wings. “I am Spell, goddess of magic. I created the Stones, hundreds of years ago when the gods created the world. I trust you to claim one of the Stones, but the journey will be long.” She flicks her tail to a staircase made out of rocks, then to the pool of water. “You must drink. The desert offers little water. Then you must climb.”

(For simplicity, this group will now be known as Group A.)

“Hare-dung,” muttered Frost. “The desert? How will I ever survive there?” She looked at her group. Her group. It was strange, being part of a group. She was on her own for a lot of her life, but now…
She rolled her eyes a little. This quest was making her soft. When all this was over, friendships would dissolve, and she would go back to being alone… she was surprised that she would miss it a little.
She began to drink, blocking out all sentimental thoughts. For now, all that mattered was working together.
(Gosh, Frost is flipping complicated. Even I didn’t know that.)

    • Dusk lashed his tail. She was lucky! He got told some bad advice about living life!
“We’re trying to get the fire stone. So shut your mouth and help!” Dusk snarled, his sunset eyes flashing.

      • “Guys, calm down!” Torrent exclaimed, putting her paws between the two. “Parrot, I’m surprised someone as confident and kind as you needs validation from anyone. You’re helpful and you have a lot of integrity. As for you, Dusk, as intelligent and skilled as you are, what Spell said isn’t exactly without reason.” She hoped she had calmed them down. If not… well, she gave them a common enemy, so at least THEY wouldn’t be fighting anymore.

  • Parrot glared at Torrent and hissed. But she knew she had sense and calmed down. Her claws sheathed, making it seem like she was, but her fury was still there. Parrot snapped at Dusk “I never opened my mouth, so how about you shut up.” Then, she walked to the water and took a few sips, her tail lashing.

  • Sleet-
Sleet took a few laps of water until she was full. The desert…interesting. She was not used to heat, especially the glaring sun of the desert. She took a look at the staircase made up of the canyon stone. This was more of her style. She’d grown up climbing. “We have an old saying in the Northern Kingdom: ‘A reckless climber is a bad climber’. It’s the first thing kits learn when they climb for the first time.” She looked at the cats. “Most of you are Western Kingdom cats. Good. You have some experience climbing trees, so you know that already. But you…” She stared at Dusk. “Well, you’ve never climbed a day of your life, have you?”

  • Parrot gulped down water and walked quickly up the staircase. She stumbled, but unsheathed her claws and caught herself. Slightly slower and more careful, Parrot continued up.

  • Ummmmm sorry for being inactive for a bit
    Dusk-
Dusk hopped up the stairs, his thin tail lashing wildly as he struggled to balance.

    Nectarine-
Nectarine drank from the pool, before gritting her teeth and climbing up the stairs.

    • Dusk tried to reach out to grab Torrent’s scruff, but he too slid to the floor.
“Lizard dung!” Dusk rubbed his chin, hissing in pain. “You Alright?”

      • “Sorry.” Torrent slumped, humiliated. Stupid short legs! She then pulled herself up and began checking his cuts. She pulled a flower from her tail, letting it soak for a second. “This is gonna sting a bit, but it’ll soothe it in a second once the cut gets used to it.” She put the plant on his open wounds. She then pulled him up by the scruff. “Let’s go, at the same time this time.”

  • To Cavern A:
You’ve gotten out. The climb was hard and perilous, but not much of your energy has been drained in the long run. You squint, taking some time to adjust to the harsh light of the sun. The desert sprawls around you, mostly sand, with cacti and other desert plants. Lizards perch on small, flat rocks. You sigh. It’s going to be a very long trip.

  • Parrot bounded back up the stairs to the top. She looked at Bo once again. Keeping her voice down, she said “I know who you are. Don’t hide from me.”

    • Tammy / Bo –

“Leave me alone, you know nothing about me. I thought I’d seen a cat like you when I first saw you, but her name was Papaya, not Parrot. So cats can look similar !”
      She hissed, shoving past Parrot.

    • Well, most of this, anyway. The territory is still the same, the royal palace is still the same, and there’s the same training process, as well as the same celebrations, marriage laws and traditions, traits, and prey, but the distinct social classes have been eradicated(they’re still there, just a lot less visible and a lot less strict), as well as the Ngihtfall Trials.
