Spottedwave pushed through the entrance of the camp, putting down a few rabbits. She’d caught word of a badger attack over in iceclan– the thought of a badger was enough to send a prickle down her spine. She decided the dens weren’t reinforced enough; in the case of an attack, her clanmates had to be safe. She wouldn’t allow them to get hurt- she had promised that to herself when she’d become a warrior.
She gathered a few materials, including reeds and grass. She began to patch the dens up. They were easy to perfect at the bottom, but as she got higher up she had to stretch to reach the top. The tortoiseshell panted, exhausted as she continued to work on the dens.
“Bless your heart, Deerwillow, but you built some shabby dens.” she huffed to herself, thinking back to the former deputy as she worked.

Burrblossom-
Burrblossom approached his Clanmate.
“Could I help?” He shyly asked.
MothPool ShipperShe looked over to the tom, giving a hearty laugh. “Heavens, you caught me talking to myself. Sure, go ahead and help.”
The she-cat began to work alongside her clanmate, tucking a reed into a gap in the nursery.
ryestar sat on here rock looking out at the peaceful camp when she heard a cry coming from the entrance. “fox fox!” she scrambled to her paws but it was two late 3 foxes had charged into camp
Spottedwave stood immediately, turning around with a gasp. She shoved a warrior in front of the nursery before dashing forwards; she’d never been the type to stand by during an attack. She landed blows on one of the fox’s paws and legs, trying to drive it back. It gave a snarl at her and flipped her onto her back, winding the tortoiseshell.
Darkkit hid in the nursery watching in the shadows when a fox came nose to nose to her. She fluffed out her furr in indignation despite her fear and hissed but that wasn’t working
Acornstripe-
Acornstripe shot out of the warrior den where he was napping,almost immediately met by a fox’s snapping jaws. He ducked,making his way to the nursery. “Darkkit! Stay back!” He yowled,lunging at the beast in front of her.
The she-cat scrambled back to her feet, using her height to ram into a fox. She didn’t do much more than trip it up, but it gave her enough leeway to jump on top of the fox and claw it. She dug her teeth deep into it’s neck, tearing a chunk of flesh and allowing the wound to burst with fresh blood. The blood spattered into the nursery, hitting the kits and queens inside.
Acornstripe-
Acorstripe slashed his claws across the fox’s muzzle,grimacing as blood hit his pelt. He would be thoroughly cleaning himself after the battle.
Spottedwave:
The fox bowled Spottedwave over, causing her to yowl. Just as the clan was overwhelmed, a patrol of Sandclan cats raced into camp.

Limeshadow:
The white tom looked around in shock. His Sandclan patrol had been sent to get herbs from the medicine cat, and he hadn’t been expecting a fox attack. His ears pricked as he heard squeaks coming from the nursery, eyes settling on the lone tom defending it. He pelted over to Acornstripe and began to help him against the fox.
She spat “I could have beaten it” darkkit growled but was secretly grateful
“I don’t doubt it.”
Limeshadow looked back to the kit, the paralyzed part of his face in an unnatural twist. He supposed she’d be disturbed if he hadn’t just saved her life. He cracked a small smile before turning away, claws unsheathed once more.
Burrblossom-
Helping to fix the nursery was going to have to wait.
Burrblossom slashed his claws across the fox’s face, hoping to injure it.
🎵Why do you write like you’re running out of time?🎵Spottedwave got back to her feet, gasping for air after the blow she’d suffered. Her chest ached as she returned to her position, helping Burrblossom ward off the fox. Her claws lashed across the fox’s front legs, bright red blood welling from the scratches. It trampled onto her and she rolled over, yowling in pain. Her legs kicked out blindly at the animal.
Burrblossom-
“Spottedwave! Are you okay?” Burrblossom gazed at his Clanmate, afraid.

Acornstripe was terrified as he clawed and bit at the deadly animal in front of him. He was barely a warrior! He’d never been in an actually fight before!
The tom cried out at teeth snapped closed around his ear. Blood welled at the tip of it,sending pain shooting through his head. He planted his feet firmly in the dirt, shielding Darkkit from seeing the beast. The kitten was traumatized enough,they didn’t need to see anymore of the fight.
Torrentclaw rushed in exasperated at limeshadows onomanous patrol sent without his permission. He slashed at the fox in front of acorn stripe sending it back through the entrance. “Limeshadow!” He growled “we have enough problems to deal with why would you send a patrol expescially without my knowing!” Torrent stared coldly at the lime
Sparrowdapple-
“I’m sure Limeshadow had good intentions,” Sparrowdapple argued.
My ShotTorrent ignored sparrowdapple and bowled another fox over his eye being slash.”AG” he screamed in rage and aimed a blow at its neck killing the fox. His left eye had been ripped out and he panted still seathing with rage
Sparrowdapple-
Horrified, Sparrowdapple mewed, “TORRENTCLAW!”
Burrblossom-
Running up to his Clanmate, Burrblossom murmured, “Sparrowdapple, panicking won’t help Torrentclaw. We must get him to the medicine cat den if we hope to save him.”
