Sliverthorn argues why Ashfur would’ve been better for Squirrelflight than Brambleclaw.
Rainleap smiled, at the sight of the kits.
it was a shame she coulden have kits herself, but alas she can change that.
¨Okay all of you line up let me check you, to see if you´re healty¨ she meows
“But we just began or game…” Newtkit says as he looks over at Rainleap.
Rainleap smiled “Okay you’ll play, i’ll go check on the leader, and when I’ll come back, i’ll check on you” She said, and turned around towards the leaders den
“Yay! Thanks Rainleap!” He said while he went back to playing catch the moss.
Flowerkit giggled, before leaving the moss and pouncing on Newtkit.
Rosekit looked at what the other kits were doing. It looked like they were play-fighting! Rosekit walked up to the other kits. “Um, hi! Can I play too?” she meowed.
Falconstar was in her den, alone, eating some fresh-kill when Rainleap entered.
Meanwhile, Nettlepaw came to her brother Splotchpaw, who was watching the kits. ‘We need to train’, she meowed, then she walked away to their mentors. Splotchpaw followed, and met Cherrypaw on the way. ‘H-Hi’, he murmured. ‘Hello’, she replied.
“How have you been feeling Falconstar??” asks Rainleap as she sits by the entrence
‘Not good. Fishpaw’s mentor says he’s messing everything up in training! Oh StarClan, I can’t raise my kits well without Splotchbreeze!’, the leader sighed.
Rainlwap comes foward to confort her leader. “You’re not rasing your kits qrong, it’s just Fishpaw will be ready when he’s ready”
Rainpaw sat by the camp’s edge, watching everyone do their thing. She felt alone, people around her liked other cats, but most cats also liked the opposite gender. She’d much rather prefer a she-cat. Or even just a friend.
Stonepaw padded up to the fresh-kill pile. He was incredibly hungry. He grabbed a mouse, making sure to check his surroundings. He couldn’t help but feel paranoid, what if MothClan was lurking by.
Mistypaw watched her two siblings, giggling. Stonepaw was scared, and Rainpaw wanted a girlfriend. She’d have to help them later, but right now she felt like training.
“Anyone wanna train with me?”
Nettlepaw was sitting alone too, just like Rainpaw. She had always been different somehow. Splotchpaw always said to his sister: ‘I wish I was as smart as you!’, and then she always said: ‘No, you don’t.’ She had a lot of trouble making friends, mostly because of her unsuccesfull attempts as a kit. She had tried to talk, but the others had acted like she was speaking another language. So she stopped trying, and just tried to be the best warrior she could, if she couldn’t be loved by anybody.
Rainpaw wasn’t the best at making friends, but she could still try.
“Hi, Nettlepaw,” Rainpaw whispered, padding up to her. “Do you want to go hunting or something with me?”
‘Of course. Thank you’, Nettlepaw meowed surprised. Not many cats had ever asked her to do something with them. [So maybe I can make friends…], she thought by herself.
Rainpaw couldn’t lie, she was terrified. She wasn’t good at making friends, and this may be her only shot. Most of the apprentices left her alone after her previous attempts to make friends.
“We should probably ask a warrior though,” she whispered nervously.
‘Yeah, okay, good. Who do you want to ask?’, Nettlepaw wondered.
Duskfeather started up at the half-moon. It was time. He looked around, before sneaking into the deep forest.
Claimed!
