Okay, so this post is a little later than what I would’ve wanted, but I’ve had a busy week 😛 I’m also a little tired, so, only one cat pic this time 😛 You’re getting plenty from Cadvent, anyway...
The seventh edition of the Blog Monthly is here – written by Lil, fresh off the printing press Hello, everyone!! The Blog Monthly is back and better than ever! I hope you all love this edition, in my opinion it is one...
Venom looked at the surrounding cats In the monster, ” Maybe if we worked together with our abilities, we could get out of this mess.” She suggested, ” We don’t have to BE WARRIORS to get out of here!” She turned to look at the other cats, then to her mother who looked at her proudly, and nodded.
” This could work,” Fox mewed dipping her head, ” Maybe if all work together….”
Haven nodded in agreement, “We all just need to calm down and keep our heads,” he meowed confidently, glancing at Remy meaningfully. “So, obviously, Ember’s power is her fur,” he looked up at the she-cat’s glowing pelt. “I know Remy can teleport-” his face grew excited. “REMY CAN TELEPORT!” He exclaimed in realization. “Remy, can you get out of your cage.”
Remy was still frantically trying to spot Fleck and didn’t hear Haven.
Haven decided not to tell his power just yet and instead meowed, “My power isn’t helpful to this situation.” He looked at Venom. “What’s your power?” He asked her imploringly.
” I-I can talk to animals….of course!!” She exclaimed, ” can anyone hear any large birds?”
“The. Spirits. Help!” Rain(kit) snarled to Sasha, before the world went black.
“Rainkit,” a calm voice said.
“Mother?” Rain asked.
“You have to get them to listen to you.”
Spirit cats repeated her, “Have to. Have to.”
(I’m changing Splashkit’s name to Rainkit bc I have Splashes)
~Sasha~
“I would much rather believe in the living rather than the dead” she meowed, then stuck her paw outside of her cage, Claws unsheathed she started fiddling with the lock. Finally, her claw got caught on something. with one strong tug, the cage flew open, catching Sasha by surprise, she fell headfirst on the ground, hitting the hard two-leg ground with a loud thump. she let out a startled growl. as started rubbing her nose to get rid of the pain, she noticed she was outside of the cage. she shot Rainkit a triumphant smile as if telling her ‘Told you so’.
Venom looked at Sasha in amazement, ” Sasha do you think u can get us all out, or at least tell us how u did it?” She glanced at Rain, and mouthed ‘I believe u’.. Then looked back at Sasha a pleading 🥺 look in her eyes
~Sasha~
She walked up to Venom’s cage, then stared at the lock for a while. she tilted her head, she didn’t understand the Lock whatsoever. she shrugged.
“It’s too complicated, pure luck I was able to get out” she meowed. when she saw the pleading look in Venom’s eyes, she smiled, a mischievous smile.
“Maybe ask your spirits for some guidance.” she laughed, her yellow-hazel eyes glowing with amusement. she whipped around, her tufted tail held high, she waltzed out of the den.
Before Sasha left the den, Rain(kit) snapped, “It’s not our fault you don’t believe them! It’s yours, because you’re stubborn and wouldn’t know better!”
Rain looked at Venom with sad eyes.
I’ve already failed my mother, she thought sadly.
~Sasha~
She stopped dead in her tracks. then turned around staring Rain in her eyes.
“I used to once believe in them, in my greatest time of need, i asked for help and they didn’t move a paw. I put my trust in them, which was the biggest mistake I’ve made my whole life. Both of my siblings were killed because i had faith. so you can call me stubborn all you want, but those spirits of yours have only brought me trouble.” she snarled.
“I suggest you don’t overstep with those words of yours,” she growled then whipped around and padded walked to the entrance of the den, then leaped up and lay down on a ledge on top of the door.
“The spirits talk when they have something to say!” Rain yowled as she left
~Sasha~
“Well obviously they don’t have anything to say to me” she meowed. then leaped down from the ledge Leaving the den behind.
“The spirits talk when they have something to say!” Rain yowled as she left..
“Get me out of here,” Splashes said sweetly, her spots glowing.
Her mind, however, was not so nice. She knew that her charm would get her out. Maybe she’d see her owners again.
Fox growled she put her paws on the outside of the cage and unseathed her claws putting in the lock there was a click and the lock fell off, Fox smirked 😏, she started on the rest of the cages
Ember frantically paced her cage, fur pulsing blue.
Haven worriedly started trying to figure out how to get the cats out.
Remy suddenly remembered Fleck and called out, “Fleck?! Fleck are you ok?!” He scanned the cages, looking desperately for Fleck.
Bayou shuddered under a bush, watching the humans trample through the forest. She took a few deep breaths, trying to calm down.
Kinsly followed the scent of other cats and found [insert name here]. “Oh, thank goodness,” she sighed, relieved. “I thought I was the only one not taken.”
~Fleck~
“Remy?” she called at the sound of her name.
“I’m ok, Where are you?” she called frantically.
Remy darted to the edge of his cage and stuck his head through the bars. He sighed with relief when he saw her, “I’m ok.” He answered back. He closed his eyes and focused hard on Fleck. When he opened them, he was in her cage. “Are you sure you’re ok?” He asked worriedly, looking her over.
~Fleck~
She staggered back in surprise, bumping into the wall of the cage.
“Remy! how did you get in here” she asked in surprise.
“How do we get out of here,” she asked, as she said that the floor of the cage gave away under her. she fell down into the cage below her onto a sleek black and white tom. he let out a muffled groan, and fleck Almost instantly slid off him. she stared at him for a while, then was finally able to recognize him.
“Domino?” she asked her voice cracking. The tom looked up, his eyes lit up instantly.
“oh my rats, Fleck?” he meowed surprised.
Remy stared in surprise, “Who’s Domino?” He asked
Night looked up at Kinsley, ” Me and Bolt made it out but….Venom, our sister, didn’t.”
” We promised Mother,” she wailed, “We promised we would stick together!”
Kinsly laid her tail on Night’s shoulder, “We’ll get her out,” she promised. “We’ll get Venom and all the other cats away from the twolegs.” She drew her tail away and sighed, “we just have to figure out how.”
” Thank you,” he mewed, ” we need a plan…”
Kinsly nodded I’m agreement, “There’s bound to be more then just us left,” she reasoned. “We just have to find them.”
“Ember?” Mia asked, “Can you see Addie? Is she okay?”
Wave stared at her, “I already told you she was breathing.”
Saturn and Jupiter stared at Bayou.
“Are- are you okay?” Saturn asked Bayou.
Then, the twin’s telepathic minds said to each other, Are you okay? and I’m fine.
Ember shook her head, “I can’t spot her!” She wailed. “There are too many cats!”
Bayou nodded weakly, “I-I fine.” She whispered. “How-how many were taken?” She asked meekly.
“A lot…” Saturn muttered, “We have to get them out!”
“But how? Getting caught ourselves?” Jupiter snapped.
Mia paced the den. She felt even more nervous now that she couldn’t see Addie.
Then, she turned invisible.
Ember flinched as her fur glowed a blinding blue.
Bayou whispered, “There’s got to be more then just us. Maybe-” she stopped self-consciously and looked down at her paws.
“Whats wrong?” Saturn asked Bayou.
The twins exchanged nervous glances.
“Would you turn that down?” Wave spat to Ember.
“Whats wrong?” Saturn asked Bayou.
The twins exchanged nervous glances.
“Would you turn that down?” Wave spat to Ember.
Bayou took a deep breath, “Nothing. We just- we have to save those cats.”
“It’s not like I can control it,” Ember hissed back shortly. “Even if I could, I wouldn’t do it for you.” She spat back.
“I agree,” Saturn said.
“I wouldn’t do it for you!” Wave mimicked.
Bayou took another deep breath, trying to calm her swirling thoughts. “We need a plan,” she reasoned slowly.
Ember snarled at Wave, “Shut up, you piece of fox dung.” She pointedly turned her back and her fur started pulling red. That arrogant, self-absorbed, piece of-. She froze when she realized she hadn’t seen Tiger. “No…” She breathed fearfully. “Has anyone seen Tiger?” She cried, her voice filled with dread.
Amba looked around at the remaining cats. Lyric was clawing at the bars of the cage, and she could see Venom.
Amba could tell that Lyric believed Rain. Personally, she thought that dwelling on them was a waste of time.
She didn’t know where Sasha was, but she spoke to her anyway. “Sasha, don’t kill me if I said how we might be able to get out…” She said slowly. Amba heard Lyric’s scoffing mew. “And I’m gonna need your help, Lyric.”
Bear somehow again grew to the size of the bear.
<what if I can open the bars with my giant body? he wondered.
Then, the cage burst open. It was made for a cat, not a bear.
“I can try to let someone out, if you tell me how,” he said.
~Sasha~
“And how might that be” came her voice from the outside, she padded back into the den sitting back down on the ledge on top of the door.
“Maybe there are dogs nearby,” Venom mewed, then barked, “Hello? Is there any dog there?”
A couple of barks met her in reply.
“Perfect, Bear, if u can get in one of the small dog cages, can you let them out, we can use the dogs a distraction as Fox gets us out,” she mewed, she then translated the plan for the dogs.
“I don’t know!” He snapped, “But we can figure out if we work together.”
He thought for a second and added slyly, “Unless you don’t care enough. You just left, why’d you come back?”
~Sasha~
She scoffed.
“if you want to crush them, be my guest.” she sneered, then stood then spoke.
“Listen here, since you all can’t seem to come up with a logical plan, I’ll organize you” she meowed.
“Bear, release some of the dogs, they can distract the two legs and you go out with them. Venom, tell the dogs to lead the two legs away. Amba if you can release a strong controlled gust of wind, it could probably shred through the lock.” she ordered.
“Then try to get rid of the rest of the locks, everyone when Amba comes to your cage, move as away from her as possible in case anything goes south.” she meowed then leaped down from the ledge.
“I’ll try to pick some of the locks, try to do the same from inside of the cages.” she meowed then wandered over to a lock and started fiddling with it.
Bear rolled his eyes at Sasha, and headed to where the dogs were.
He growled, and opened the cage with his clumsy paws. Then, he ran. Dogs were following him, and he tripped on his paws.
They think I’m a bear! he thought.
He stood up on his hind paws, and the dogs whimpered and ran in a different direction. THen, he shrunk back to his normal size.
Venom barked at the dogs, hadn’t she just basically said that? She looked at her mother who fiddled with Venoms lock.
-Lyric-
Lyric knew what Amba was doing to do, but they knee she wasn’t ready.
“You’ll just put yourself in danger!” They meowed. They turned to Sasha. “She’s gonna blow us out of the van.” It sounded silly when she said it.
~Sasha~
“Correct me if I’m wrong, but last time I checked, you weren’t coming up with any better ideas” she snarled, the tugged at a lock and the door flung open.
~Fleck~
She moved to the hole she had fallen through, and notice that under it was a small puddle, the same color as the cage. she started noticing the pattern, just like before when she got her paw stuck in the ground when she first met Remy. she slid to the lock of the cage. focusing on her paw and the lock, she felt her paw getting wet and the cage flung open. Domino’s eyes widened.
“How did you do that” he meowed.
“I’ll explain later” she meowed absently then walked over to the cage, and called over to Remy.
“Come down here, I was able to get us out” she meowed.
Remy hopped down, “Who’s this?” He asked, glancing at Domino curiously.
(I’m going to make it so Fleck and Domino aren’t siblings, But Domino always had a crush on Fleck, and he sees Remy as competition over her. for some drama)
~Domino~
Before Fleck could reply he stepped forward.
“I can ask the same question” he meowed threateningly. Fleck stepped in.
“Remy, this is Domino, My brother, Domino, this is Remy, My friend” she meowed. Domino eyed him suspiciously.
“Nice to meet you” he meowed with a slight edge to his tone.
Remy dipped his head politely, “You too.” He meowed coolly, not missing Domino’s tone. “I haven’t seen you around. Are you new here?” He asked, a slight challenge in his voice.
(YESS, I need my daily dose of drama!!)
~Domino~
“I’ve been around” he meowed through slightly gritted teeth.
~Fleck~
She noticed the tension between the two toms and interrupted.
“I’m hungry, Let’s go over to the stream, maybe I’ll be able to teach you how to catch something” she meowed. then bouned over to the entrance of the den.
Remy nodded, relaxing, and quickly followed her. He shot on last look at Domino before turning and keeping his eyes glued ahead of him. What is wrong with me? He wondered, confused. Why does Domino feel like a threat? Then it hit him. He was jealous. He kept walking, but stared at his paws, unsure how to act with Domino there.
Moonberry leaped down from the fence of the bunny farm, back to their territory, and began walking to camp.
(Whats going on, I am seeing a lot of confusing comments on this page.)
oop I’m sorry I forgot about roleplaying
Soul sighed, looking around, wide-eyed. Where. In the world. Did her duplicate go???
She spotted her duplicate a few tree-lengths away, watching some cats. It was already fading. She bounded over to it.
“Who are those cats?” she asked.
Her duplicate looked at her. “[Insert Name Here] and [Insert Name Here].”
(u can choose who they are and see Soul and her duplicate if u want)
(Saturn, Jupiter andBayou)
“The dogs are here.. because of a cat!” Saturn exclaimed
Soul’s eyes widened. “Dogs?” she whispered.
Her duplicate groaned. “Shut up!” he snapped.
Saturn heard barks in the distance.
“Uh oh..” she muttered. “Let’s get away so we’re not eaten…”
“Like I’d tell you!” Wave snapped. “Fox heart.”
Bayou shuddered, “D-dogs?” She stammered nervously, cowering under a bush.
Ember resisted the urge to spit another sharp retort and instead looked for Tiger’s fur.
Bayou cowered under a bush, “W-what?” She stammered nervously.
Ember but back a sharp retort and instead started scanning the cages for Tiger.
Moonberry figured that they would hunt, so the they-cat scented for any prey. Unfortunately, they were so intent on doing so that they bumped into (insert name)
¨Oops, sorry!¨
~Fleck~
She wandered over to the Stream and waited for Remy and Domino.
Remy quickly followed her, smiling when she came into sight. “Hopefully this ends better than last time,” he joked, purring playfully. “I don’t need my fur soaked again.” He glanced at the water, his fur spiking up a bit nervously. “Are you sure we should be getting close to the water?” He asked worriedly.
~Fleck~
she laughed.
“If you don’t decide to jump in we’ll be fine” she purred jokingly.
Remy smiled, but couldn’t help feeling uneasy as he crept to the waters edge. His heart rate quickened and he took a couple steps back. The couple of steps turned into a couple feet as he unwillingly teleported farther away from the stream.
(I’m super sorry about not being active, Flarey, like really really sorry)
(Respond to Kinsley)
“Yeah, we should go find them and come up with a plan,” Night mewed.
(I’m am so freaking sorry for being inactive, life’s been brutal)
Kinsly nodded, “Let’s go then!” She said eagerly.
(I’m sorry for inactivity)
-Amba-
Amba’s ears pricked, her and Lyric one of the last cats left, and heard footsteps. A twoleg entered the van. It opened the door of her cage, and rattled brown pellets into a round thing.
Amba had just unleashed her first hurricane. She sits down in her cage, her ears are brushing the top. A twoleg enters the room in which her cage is. The twoleg held a small den in his paw. He stops at Amba’s cage. He tries to reach out underneath Amba’s belly to pick her out.
“Enough of this,” Amba mutters. She runs flat out towards the twoleg and leaps at the fur on his face (a beard) Amba claws it, and runs out through the arch, trying not to leap into the air. She’s free!
“If it worked before it can work again.” Amba said, and climbs into the twoleg’s face, and leaves the van with everybody else.
She didn’t look back until she realised that Lyric was still trapped.
Hollow watched the group rush out of the van then suddenly stop. He trotted over and dipped his head “I’m Hollow and i may be of some help to you and your trapped friend”
(If your confused his ability is to see the future)
“Uh- thanks? I’m good though- LYRIC!” Amba mewed.
