Sliverthorn argues why Ashfur would’ve been better for Squirrelflight than Brambleclaw.
Wave sheltered in a near by abandoned den.
“Wave? I’m hungry?” Splashkit said quietly.
“I know, Splash, but we need to stay in the den,” Wave said. (Wave calls Splashkit Splash)
“NO! I’ll go get some food!” Splashkit exclaimed.
“SPLASH!! COME BACK!” Wave exclaimed.
“Help!!” Splashkit exclaimed while being scooped up by a twoleg.
“NO! SPLASH!” Wave growled, trying to hurt the twoleg. The twoleg picked her up too and put her and Splashkit with the other cats.
“Hello?” Moon called to the other cats who had just got put in. “Are all of you ok?”
Ember looked around desperately, “She’s not bleeding, but she’s not waking up either!” She cried, she started whimpering, thinking of the last cat who looked like this, her sister.
~Jay~
Jay started pacing back and forth in the cage, but Azula put her tail on her shoulder. “Jay, stop. You’ll hurt yourself, and we can’t have that. You have the most healing knowledge of any of us, we need you! Come here.” And with that, Jay was pulled into her side. “Is she breathing?” Jay meowed, growing panicked for this cat. He had been a stray before his housefolk took him in, and he knew what it was like to watch a cat die. He didn’t want to have to do that again. “Try to keep her propped up on her side. Are you sure that there isn’t any sort of wound?” Jay asked, frantically searching his mind for any sort of wound, or cut on the back of her head?” Azula glanced at him, worried about how he had this much knowledge of injuries.
Ember started listening to Jay, “She has a cut on her head!” She called, “It’s bleeding a bit.” She carefully propped Wispy up like Jay had said
~Jay~
“Okay.” Jay murmured. “Okay, keep talking to her! The sooner she wakes up, the better chance she has of recovery!” Jay called. “How big is the cut? Does anycat have cobwebs in their cages?”
Tiger had been listening to this conversation, wishing he could help, when he noticed he had a whole wad of cobwebs in the corner of his cage. “Hello?” He whispered tentatively into the darkness. “I think I have some cobwebs in the corner of my cage.” He waited nervously for an answer. He hoped he hadn’t sounded scared.
Ember started gently murmuring to Wispy, “Come on, wake up.” She turned to Jay, “I can’t tell how big the cut is.” She called, voice much calmer now. She turned as Tiger spoke, “Can you pass them over here?” She asked hopefully
“Ok.” he whispered back. He extended a shaky paw toward Ember. Suddenly, the monster jumped, causing all the cages to rattle. “AHH!” Tiger yowled. He thrust the cobwebs toward Ember and backed into a corner, whimpering.
(mwahahahahaha I live for drama)
Ember extended her claws, just barely snagging the cobwebs, “I got them!” She said excitedly. She ignored the pain in her paw from the jolt and turned to Tiger, “Are you ok?”
Tiger just shook his head and flattened his ears, refusing to talk.
Ember stared at him worriedly, before turning to Wispy, “What do I do now?” She asked Jay, keeping on eye on Tiger.
~Jay~
“Okay Ember!” Jay meowed. “Now clean the cut by licking it, and then hold the cobwebs down on the cut until it stops bleeding. Just stay calm!” Azula looked at him pointedly, and Jay realized the hypocrisy of his statement. Taking a deep, shuddering breath, Jay leaned deeper into Azula’s fluff.
Ember nodded, even though Jay couldn’t see her gently pushed the cobwebs against Wispy’s head, “I think it’s slowing down!” She called hopefully to Jay. After the bleeding was just a slow trickle she turned to Tiger, “What’s wrong?” She asked, “Did you get hurt?”
“N-no.” He said, still trembling, but less now, and slowly came up to the front of his cage again. “S-sorry for freezing up. I do that sometimes.” He bowed his head in shame.
(MORE DRAMA HEHEHEHE)
“it’s ok, it happens to everyone at some point ” she meowed. She heard Spirit and Remy fighting and pricked her ears, “Are you ok?” She asked Remy.
Remy turned to the corner of the cage and didn’t answer.
~Jay~
“Tiger, I understand completely.” Jay called from his cage, feeling a surge of empathy for this cat. “Just take a deep calm breath, and focus on my voice.” Jay meowed, mimicking what Azula would say to him when he was panicking. Azula nudged him, noticing that in amusement.
“O-okay.” Tiger mewed. He took a breath and immediately felt better. “Thanks Jay.” He blinked at him with gratitude in his eyes.
“Ember, it’s going to be ok.” Spirit tried to sooth her from the bottom of her cage. “We can figure this out. You’ll see.”
void this comment
(This is kind of unimportant. I was just using it as something to respond to because the words were getting small)
Spirit now really wanted to help. She didn’t want to be the weak one. She tried to push herself to her feet, but her legs gave out. She decided to just lay there so she wouldn’t be a problem, but she hated it so much!
Remy looked at Spirit worriedly, “Spirit?” He called, “Are you okay?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” Spirit said grumpily. She turned her head away, ashamed.
Remy kept staring at her, “Are you sure?” He asked
“Did you not hear me?! I SAID I’m fine!” Spirit yowled at him. Seeing his face, she immediately had a surge of guilt, but she turned around and said nothing.
(Moon is not paying attention at this point because I don’t feel like writing her.)
Remy flinched and backed away into the corner of the cage
Moon, noticing what was going on, furrowed her brow in confusion. What had happened in the few moments that she had drifted off? No matter, she still needed to help. Wait, what was she thinking? These cats could betray her the second she looked away. She bit her lip and stayed sitting, fighting off a feeling of shame. -Trust nobody. Trust nobody.- her thoughts kept echoing. She gave a little nod to herself, and turned away.
“Spirit! No need to yell!” Slither awoke from his slumber, stretching his lanky legs.
“You woke a bunch of us up! It’s been a while since I had a good sleep.”
Spirit just glared at Slither.
“he has a point” meowed Cryssi, with a yawn,
“but It’s alright i guess” she meowed
Ember jumped as the monster went over a bump and tightened her grip on the cage, “How much longer?” She whimpered. She didn’t care where she was going, she just wanted out of the monster.
~Azula~
Azula settled next to Jay, resigning herself to her fate. Suddenly, the monster hit a huge bump, and she rolled over unwillingly, grabbing Jay and rolling him on top of her so she wouldn’t squash the small cat. Jay made a startled noise, before Azula felt the monster come to a stop.
“what was that?” Remy asked, trying to look at the others, “did anyone get hurt?”
“N-no, I don’t think so.” Tiger stammered. “I think the monster stopped though…” His tail bushed out with fright as the back of the monster opened, revealing some Twolegs with long white furs hanging from their body.
Ember whimpered as one stopped in front of her and opened the cage, “Help!” She cried, “I don’t know what’s happening!” She shrank to the back of the cage, momentarily forgetting about Wispy until the twoleg reached for Wispy. “Get away!” She screeced, trying to claw at the twoleg with no luck. Ember gasped when it grabbed her by the scruff and dragged her out of the cage, “Help!”
Chester was too terrified to even move, He saw the voice from earlier being dragged away along with a small golden she-cat. not the she-cat under him was being dragged away too, as a two-leg wearing white fur opened his cage and reached for him, he started clawing at it with all his power but his white fur protected it,
“HELLP” he yowled. but no one moved. he was put in a different cage and carried into the two-leg nest.
Silent
Chaos, this life is chaos. Silent thought trudging through the streets. Le’s father left them. His Mother was forever missing. His sister was out for their blood. Suddenly, he scented cats. New, different, non-murdery cats.
(Open for interaction)
Peeko opened her eyes, her body ached all over. she was in a tight cage, ‘My owners never did this to me’ she thought, she walked to the end of the cage.
“Hello???” she meowed as loudly as possible, which wasn’t very loud.
Chester was restless in his cage just waiting to get out.
“Does anyone know where we are” he asked loudly,
“If anyone knew then I’m sure they would have shared with us” he heard a voice from the other side of the monster, the annoyance clearly showing in the voice.
(can I be the voice 😜 if you already had something for the voice ignore this comment.)
Moon rolled her eyes at the cat. “If anyone knew, then I’m sure they would have shared with us.” she said, voice dripping with annoyance. She turned around and lay down with a huff. -Listen to your instincts. Don’t be nice to ANYONE.- her thoughts echoed.
(that comment is actually perfect thx)
Chester~
Chester quieted down, tho he didn’t like it but he knew his limits, at least he thought so. he lay down and closed his eyes, He knew his owners wouldn’t give him away so easily, so surely the place he was going to is a good place, Right?
Peeko~
Peeko was restless, she started to panic.
“IS ANYONE THERE” she was surprised by how loud her voice got there.
“Quiet down!” Moon said sharply, for she was in a bad mood. “Yes, there are cats here, but some of us would like to actually get some sleep!” She gestured with her tail to the cats around her. “We don’t know what to do, or where we are, but we will figure that out. Just stay calm.” She spoke with an air of importance, then remembered she shouldn’t be trusting any more cats.
“No need to snap” Peeko, her voice dripping with anger.
“and News flash, some of us would like to know what’s going on” she growled
Bright leaped up from the nest, batting the monster.
“I want get out!” She whimpered, her bright amber eyes glowing with fear and she slumped down into her nest once more.
“Did it not become clear to you that we don’t know?” Moon said dryly. “We will figure it out once this monster takes us to wherever it’s going.” Just then the monster stopped and the back opened up. Moon’s eyes became wide with horror as a Twoleg wearing white furs opened her cage and picked her up. She yowled and scratched the Twoleg, but it seemed to be oblivious.
“Hey” Peeko growled, tho she and the other got off on the wrong paw, she wouldn’t let the twoleg take hurt a fellow cat. Peeko rammed herself into the front of the cage knocking it over, it landed with a thump, Peeko’s shoulder hurt badly but she didn’t care. the cage door flew open on impact and peeko sped towards the twoleg scratching and biting at it’s legs. but it didn’t seem to care, it picked her up to. Peeko let out shriek.
“HELP US” she yowled at the top of her lungs. but the cats in the cages seemed to terrified to even moved. ‘What have I gotten myself into’ she thought to herself as she clawed at the two leg, her efforts didn’t even phase it.
in one last effort to get free she Yowled at the top of her lungs.
“HEEEELLLLLPPPP.” before she and the other cat were put into another cage and carried into a twoleg nest.
When the monster came to a halt Cryssi thought she’d fine arrived home, but when the belly of the monster opened and a two-leg that she didn’t recognize walked towards her and opened her cage, she knew she was nowhere near home, she heard other cats screeching and yowling for help, but she was too scared to even think about helping. when the two-leg reached for her she started screeching too. she sheathed her claws and started clawing at the two-leg. but she had seen the other cats do the same and not succeeding.
“Please help,” she said in one last effort to get free. like all the cat’s before no one moved, she was put in a cage with an orange tom,
“Do u have any idea what’s going on” she desperately asked.
“No idea” he replied. she felt the cage being lifted off the ground. she started breathing hard, she was never a fan of heights. she saw a two-leg nest in front of her, as they walked in a barrage of unfamiliar smells hit her. she swallowed hard but her fear only grew when they entered an all-white room and were set beside another cage. she saw a two-leg open the other cage and grab a small golden she-cat, the she-cat didn’t put any effort into getting free, as the two-leg carried out of Cryssi’s sight. Cryssi, heard a lot of rustling and struggle, but then a loud shriek and…… silence. the two-leg carried the limp body of the golden she-cat and put her it in a large inclosure. she was afraid, Why did the she-cat shriek, was the golden cat DEAD, but when she noticed the slow rise and fall of her chest she was slight reassured, but when the two-leg opened her cage and reached for her, that feeling quickly faded and once again was replaced by the terrifying feeling like before.
Ignore my other comment:
Bright struggled as a twoleg carried her to a den, the murky smell hitting her nose and she winced. “”Moon? Are you okay?”
(not moon but)
~Cryssi~
The fluffy she-cat woke up, she was still in the all bright room, but this time she was in the large enclosure, with a good sight of the cages, the orange tom she was with was still in there, whilst a new cat was put into the cages. she ran towards the end of the cage,
“HELP” she yowled, but the cats didn’t seem to hear, she remembered the small golden she-cat, who when she turned around was still unconscious, she walked over and shook her, almost instantly the she-cat sprang to her feet.
“Where is she??” she asked.
“Who??” asked Cryssi
“You know the edgy one, with the attitude” Replyed the other she-cat.
“All I know is the two legs probably didn’t do whatever they did to us to her, She isn’t in here at least” Answered the fluffy She-cat.
“What do u think will happen to us” the other cat whispered. Cryssi layed her tail on the other cat’s shoulder.
“I don’t know,” she said as the cages started stacking up, “All I know is, We’ve got a long way ahead of us”
Moon saw the room that the others were being put in, but her Twoleg went straight past, and she screeched at it to say that it had missed the room, but it only clamped a muzzle over her mouth and took her to a cold, dark room, and lay her down under a… pointy thing? She then realized the muzzle was letting out strange smelling air and she slumped with fatigue. -Why am I so tired all of a sudden?- she thought. The last thing she saw was Twolegs murmuring to each other, and a bright light shining down on her face.
She woke up, feeling strange, -Who am I?- she thought. Then she remembered her name was Moon, and she used to have a brother named Tiger. -Huh. I wonder what happened to him.- she thought. She tried to stand up, but slumped. Just then, more memories came back. -There was a cat named…Sunny? Spirit?- Spirit sounded about right. She tried to stand up again and succeeded. She wandered around the room, it was cold and white and small. Then a Twoleg came in, and some of Moon’s more recent memories came back. -Twolegs captured us…but who is us?- The Twoleg picked her up, and she didn’t know why, but her immediate reaction was fear. She looked down at her paws to find she… had none. She screeched in terror, then suddenly they came back. She could remember now. The Twolegs had captured her and her friends, and they had taken her to a room with a bright light and stuck something in her. Her friends had been in a different room. The Twoleg once again picked her up, but she was too lost in her memories to notice. The Twoleg placed a plastic band around her neck. -A collar- It didn’t feel like other collars though. She had a feeling this one was for reasons other then finding her when she was lost. The Twoleg then walked down a long hallway, and placed her in a cage in her friends room. She searched for words, then slowly collapsed.
~Peeko~
Peeko ran toward the cage and fiddled with the lock for a bit before she was able to crack it open.
“are u ok,” she asked, the she-cat clearly wasn’t.
“N-no.” Moon blinked, then yawned. “I’m tired…” she said, and then rested her head on her paw.
Spirit~ Spirit yowled with fear as a Twoleg opened her cage and grabbed her as well, but she still tried to resist. “NOOOOOOO!” she screeched, clawing the Twoleg in vain.
Tiger~ a Twoleg opened his cage, but Tiger was to scared to resist it. He tried taking deep breaths, but a cat screeched to his left, causing him to submit to the Twoleg out of fear. Tiger watched as all around him, cages were opened and cats were stolen, and he slumped in defeat.
Raven~ Raven waited calmly for his cage to be opened. When it did, he stepped calmly into the Twolegs waiting arms. He figured, if he was the best cat, he would get some food.
Ember shut her eyes tight as the twoleg carried her, to terrified to protest. “Spark, I’m sorry.” She murmured to herself, “I’m so sorry.” She kept her eyes shut, even after the Twoleg put her down. She kept muttering to herself about Spark
Remy shrank with fear as the twoleg lifted him, “Hello?” He called, forcing his voice to remain calm, “Is anyone there?” He gasped as he brushed against fur and turned to see Wispy being held by the same twoleg. He gently licked her head, “Who are you?” He asked, trying to wake her up
“I-i’m here Remy.” said Tiger nervously. “T-that’s your name right? Oh- I’m sorry if I got your name wrong.” he fretted. “W-what do we do?”
Remy tried to see Tiger, “Remy is my name.” He meowed, “I don’t know what to do. Does anyone know where Ember went?” He asked
“I think she’s over there,” Tiger said, and nodded to the cage where Ember was sitting and shaking.
