Sliverthorn argues why Ashfur would’ve been better for Squirrelflight than Brambleclaw.
~Peeko~
“I’m going where ever Moon is going,” said the golden she-cat following Moon.
~Crissy~
“I can look from the sky to find a clear way to the forest” she suggested then dropped into a hunting crouch, wiggling her haunches and taking a massive leap, flapping her crystal wings, and soon enough, she was soaring through the sky towards the way Moon had pointed.
Elm-
Elm drifted after the group, noting that the others seemed to be partnering up but he wasn’t too worried about that. He knew he could handle himself.
As Crissy took flight, he craned his head to stare after her. “Fascinating,” Elm murmured, fighting a grin. All of it was absolutely fascinating. He’d hated the sheer powerlessness of himself in comparison to the twolegs, but now that he was free, he was more curious than scared.
Suddenly, he let out a startled yelp, as his world exploded into expanded clarity. He was looking at Crissy, at the cats around him, the ground, the sky, the buildings behind him.
Elm was looking everywhere, and his brain couldn’t handle it.
“Well,” he said, trying to play it off with a nervous laugh, fighting back panic, “This is interesting.” Elm tried to take a step forward, planning to steady himself against the tree, but he couldn’t figure out which direction he was facing, nor where his paws were, and ended up tipping awkwardly over onto his side.
~Blink~
“Are you ok?” asked the she-cat as she helped steady the tom, stared at the tom with her one eye studying him closely, he looked like he was fascinated, but judging by whats going on, It would be a surprise if someone wasn’t. she narrowed her eyes, he seemed like he was in a state of panic, or trying to push down one. “huh” she thought then introduced herself.
“I’m Blink,” she meowed to the tom still steadying him. Suddenly she saw something out of the corner of her eye, but not her fixed eye but her blind one, she jerked her head towards the shape, when she saw transparent figures of cat and many of them, she heard their talking, it was distant but still understandable, they didn’t seem to be aware of her. she closed her good eye and all the cat’s disappeared, “So I’m still blind with that” she thought to herself.
“Fascinating,” she whispered not intending for the words to come out of her mind.
Elm-
“I’m okay, just a little dizzy,” Elm lied, shooting Blink a friendly smile. He supposed he did need the help, but he disliked being in anyone’s debt. Hopefully she didn’t expect any payment for her kindness.
Elm blinked, and was startled to find that nothing changed. He could feel that his eyes were closed, but he could still see all around him.
“It definitly is fascinating,” he agreed, intriqued despite his discomfort. How did this work, if it wasn’t connected to his eyes? “Did you see that one cat with the wings? I’d sure like to be able to fly.”
~Blink~
The she-cat narrowed her eyes, temporarily ignoring the cats that she saw with her blind eye.
“It would be a nice skill to have, to get out of danger” she meowed her voice filled with thought, If she closed her eye she could still see the cats, but only the cats, meaning she was still halfway blind, but when she had both eyes open she saw both the transparent cats and the real cats, it would be nice to study her power later, right now she focused her thoughts on Elm. No one gets dizzy all of the sudden, that is he was dizzy, the story did scream coverup so she only played along. there was only 1 logical answer, his power had kicked in, just like hers did.
“So what your power,” she finally asked
“Are you ok?” said Spirit, staring over Elm.
Elm-
Elm did not know this cat, so it seemed wiser to hide this weakness-and maybe eventual strength-until he had a better feel for the playing feild. So, he lied.
“I’ve been better,” he joked, with a rueful smile. “Being abducted and put through who knows what seems to have given me a bit of a dizzy spell. I’m sure I’ll feel better in a minute, though.”
Internally, though, he was freaking out. He was developing a terrible headache, and everything felt so huge. It had been a long, long time since he had felt so frightened.
Elm forced himself a deep breath. He would get used to it eventually.
He hoped.
Spirit narrowed her eyes at him. -He’s lying.- she thought. At least there was one good thing her power could do! She decided to play along. “I see. And, I know that its hard, finding yourself in a Twoleg den then your life turned upside down.” she sighed, and her tail lowered. Her eyes were now filled with her own emotions. Was she scared, angry or sad? She didn’t know.
~Sylvie~
Sylvie popped into existence. She was in a room with many other cats. She looked around and noticed that the cats were leaving the building through a crack. Curious, she followed.
~Dani~
Dani also popped into existence. He too, noticed the cats walking through the crack and followed the crowed.
Zu, walked thru the hole in the wall by herself, due to the fact nobody asked to be her partner. “It’s for the best…I’ll just accidentally get in their mind…”She muttered.
(Pls interact with Zu I’m so boredddDd).
Raven eyed the she-cat. She seemed to have valuable powers… maybe even some that he could manipulate her into using for him. He trotted up to her. “Hey. I noticed you were alone. I’m Raven.” he said softly.
“Oh hi…” Zu said quietly. She tried to stay as far away from him as she could, she didn’t want to hurt the Tom.
Raven studied her, noticed her edging away. -Darn it! She’s onto me.-
-Soul-
She raced through the crack. Spotting a she-cat that seemed to be alone, she raced toward her. The thought of interacting with an unknown cat was daunting, but she had to find her duplicate. “Hi,” she mewed. “Have you seen a cat that looks exactly like me, but more. . .faded?”
“Er no sorry..”Zu backed away from the she-cat.
-Soul-
She sniffed, turning and padding away. Cats that didn’t want her didn’t get her… but that still meant no one knew where her duplicate was
Ember peeked her head out of the bush and looked around, “Tiger? Moon? Spirit?” She called, looking for a familiar face, “Remy?” She slipped out of the bush, but stayed crouched on the ground. Her fur pulsed blue as she frantically glanced around for them.
“Ember?” Tiger’s voice echoed around. “Are you okay? Where are you?” his calls continued to get more frantic every time he yelled. His face poked through the bush. “Oh StarClan, I was so worried!”
“Tiger, where did you go?” She asked, voice shaking with relief, “I-I couldn’t find You-” she stopped and stared up at the tom with huge, scared eyes.
Tiger bent his head until he was at Ember’s eye level. “I will never abandon you. You will always be safe with me- and uh, Moon.” He stammered and blushed, looking away.
Ember blushed too and flicked her tail at him. She carefully slipped out from under the bush and stood in between Tiger and Addie, “Um, Addie this is Tiger.” She meowed, trying not to stare at Tiger. “Hello, Mia. I’m Ember.” She said
~Glitch~
He was phasing in and out of the ground, again. Xe was starting to get annoyed by this, he was standing still, trying to be careful.
(Someone interact with xem he hasnt gotten much interaction-)
Breeze flounced over to xem. “Hi! My name is Breeze! Who’re you? Why are you going in and out of the ground like that? Oh well, no matter. I don’t know what I can do yet either.” Breeze bounced along, oblivious to anything Glitch was saying.
~Glitch~
“AH!-”
Xe didn’t expect them. He had fallen deeper into the ground, only to be pushed out.
“You scared me!”
Xe stabilized himself, waiting for the cat to stop speaking so xe could.
“Sorry!” Breeze smiled down at xem, a bit oblivious. She inhaled to ask another question, but started coughing, giving xem a small moment to insert himself into the conversation.
~Glitch~
“To answer your questions, I’m Glitch, It’s my ability..and I’m sure you’ll find your ability soon. Are you alright?”
“Oh yes, I’m fine! This just happens sometimes.” Breeze’s coughing fit subsided, and she began bombarding Glitch with questions again, seeming fine.
~Glitch~
Xe answered them the best and as fast as he could. He wasn’t getting annoyed much, which was a surprise.
“Hey Glitch! Look at all those cats over there! Maybe we should join them!” Breeze was then cut off by another one of her coughing fits.
~Glitch~
“You’re right.. Let’s go”
Xe waited for Breeze to go first, then he followed.
“I think you, Mia, and Ember, are gonna get along great!” Addie chattered, “I think your fur gets blue when you are nervous! That’s it! And Mia, you turn invisible!”
Remy looked around calmly, looking for the cats he knew before being captured
Wave got freaked out that there were so many nearby cats, would they hurt Splashkit? She started panicking until Bear started licking her fur, she pulled away, embarrassed. She tried to find where Splashkit was, but then she saw her walking up to another cat, who was that cat?
~Splashkit~
“Hi!! Who are you?” Splashkit asked.
“I’m Addie! And this is Mia!” Addie said, “And you are?”
“Splash!” Splashkit said, embarrassed to tell her her full name. Splashkit then fainted, into another spirit-world visit. Mia got confused, but then got freaked out and turned invisible, AGAIN.
~spirit world~
“Who are you?” Splashkit asked the new cat
“I’m Holly! I wanted to deliver a message” The new cat said
“Okayy,” Splashkit said
“Addie and Mia are close friends of mine. I lived across from their house-folk. Can you say hi to them for me?” Holly said.
“Sure!”
~Crissy~
Crissy soared through the sky looking down to spot the forest, sure enough, there was a forest, a large one as well, and to their luck, there was a clear way through the Twoleg Place all the way to their future home. she turned around then landed by the cats.
“There is a clear way through a few alleyways and a two-leg yard, it’s the fastest way through I could spot,” she meowed then felt a wetness on her back, she glanced back and saw that her wings were gone, and she was standing was a puddle of purple water.
“And no, I cannot take another flight, looks like my wings are on break right now” she meowed sarcastically.
(hey, can Splash(kit) see Blink in the spirit world? Or can Blink not be seen by other spirits/cats?)
(since Blink is halfway in the spirit world, Splashkit can only hear her and see her and not directly talk to her, though eventually, I might let the spirits actually see Blink including Splash(kit))
~DP~
It and Alex had finally arrived at the crowd. Nudging Alex towards where Crissy stood
“Perhaps we should go there.”
-Soul-
She stared around, looking for her duplicate. She could swear she remembered making one. . . had it ran away, like the others? Why didn’t they like her? Suddenly, she noticed the cats in the room sliding through a crack. She frowned as she saw her duplicate, as faded as it was, going with them. She bounded toward it, hoping the other cats didn’t notice how there was two of her.
“What are you doing?” she asked. “Why are you leaving me?”
“Because we both look exactly the same,” the duplicate answered. “I need to get out, so I don’t look weird.”
“But I made you!” Soul pointed out. “You need to be my friend.”
“I don’t need to do anything,” the duplicate growled. Then it slid away, allowing itself to be lost in the sea of cats.
“You okay?” Addie asked Soul, “I’m Addie, and this is — oops, Mia has turned invisible again!”
-Soul-
“Oh!” She would glance at Addie, surprised. “Yeah, I’m- wait, did you say invisible?!”
“Yep, Mia turns invisible when she gets nervous,” Addie said, “We came back in to see if any cats where still in here.”
Addie gaze shifted to a tan tabby, she hadn’t seen her. The new tabby was near another tabby, ginger this time. Addie ran up to them, curious.
“Hi! I’m Addie!” Addie said.
“Oh… hi,” the tan one said rudely, “Sorry – sorry. I’m Meadow, this is Abigail…”
forget this, I’ll make a new character, I DID NOT SAY THAT
Did you still answer Soul though?
ya
~Crissy~
“Eclipse, Peeko, Chester. help me gather all the cats, we need to get a move on” she called to the cats she was certain were going to the forest.
~Peeko~
The small she-cat slipped through the crowd of cats, Looking for Moon. “Where is she?” thought Peeko when she accidentally bumped into (Insert name here) gaining their ability, she noticed 7 stripes on her forepaw, that weren’t there before “Huh,” she thought then gave it a quick lick.
Breeze turned around as a small golden she-cat bumped into her. “Hi! Who’re you? I’m Breeze! Do you have any powers? I don’t have any- yet. I hope mine is a good one! Do you miss your housefolk? I sure miss mine, but they never let me out of the house, so I’m kind of glad for that.” Breeze was talking so fast, her words seemed to blend into each other. “…and that was how I got captured! What happened to you?” Breeze paused to take a breath, letting Peeko get a word in.
~Peeko~
peeko’s eyes grew as she was hit with a tumble of words.
“Uh-immmm, yip totally” she stammered, she was nervous, VERY nervous.
“I-I’m Peeko,” she said, she felt the wind pick up around her and ruffle her fur. she glanced down at her paws, something she would often do when she was nervous, instead of 7 stripes there were 5. she narrowed her eyes but then was interrupted by another parade of words,
“And that’s how I got captured, what about you?” she heard the she-cat, or Breeze said,
“The two legs came and took me from the animal place (Pet store, she was never adopted)” she said. and then smiled, the wind had calmed down and she felt less nervous.
“Nice to meet you” she squeaked quietly.
Ember slipped out from under the bush, her tail accidentally brushing against Tiger’s paw. She jerked it away and glanced at him awkwardly, “Sorry,” she meowed
“No- you’re ok.” stammered Tiger. “Oh! Did I forget to introduce myself?” he said to Mia and Addie. “I’m Tiger.”
Ember shyly averted her gaze from Tiger, “Oh, that’s my fault,” she meowed apologetically, “Mia, Addie, this is Tiger.” She watched for their reaction
“Hi! I’m Addie! And this is Mia!” Addie said
Ember smiled and flicked her tail, “Tiger, can you go ahead? I’ll catch up.” She meowed, glancing at Addie.
“Sure!” Tiger said, glad to be rid of the awkwardness. He bounded back through the bush with a “See you later!” tossed over his shoulder.
“bye!” Ember called, watching him go. After he disappeared she turned to Addie and Mia, “I can’t believe we don’t have owners.” She meowed, trying to push Tiger to the back of her mind.
“Yeah… I miss my friend, Holly. She lived across from my house,” Mia said
Ember glanced at the houses in the distance and sighed, “I guess we’re on our own now.” She meowed quietly. She looked back and forth between Addie and Mia, “What do you think about Tiger?” She asked them both shyly
“He’s kind. Why?” Addie asked, “You can tell me anything, you know.”
Ember stared at her paws, “Oh, I don’t know.” She murmured, “I guess he is kind, and sweet.” She glanced up at Addie, unsure. After a moment she spoke again, “He told me I would be safe with him, and that he’d never abandon me.” She smiled, “And, well…” She paused. not knowing what to say she just looked at Addie
