This is now the page for RippleClan in my Heart of the Tide roleplay!
Here are some details about the RippleClan camp.
The RippleClan camp is situated on top of a cliff, facing a half-moon bay that leads to the ocean. The camp itself is in a large, sandy clearing. The medicine cat is in a large fern grove, while the warrior’s den is in an equally large bush nearby, with the smaller apprentice’s den almost right next to it on the left. The Nursery is a collapsed palm tree, with pine fronds and various leaves reinforcing it and protecting it from the elements. The elders den is another collapsed palm tree, albeit smaller, in a sunny spot of the camp. Finally, the leader’s den is right in the middle of camp, a bush covered in palm leaves and vines, with plenty of privacy from curious kits.
There are multiple ledges and pathways to get down to the beach at the bay, where you can usually see RippleClan apprentices and warriors doing battle-training, on the beach and in the water, as well as elders sunning themselves on the soft, warm sand. Kits are also allowed here, but queens keep a close eye on them in case one of them is swept away by the ocean.
To see a picture of the beach and the bay, simply search up Hanauma Bay.
As for prey, fish are plentiful in the bay, and gulls, lizards, and various rodents like mice and voles are found in the hills and cliff above the bay, so food is rarely scarce-however, the relatively exposed camp means that the common tropical storms that roll in are a problem. RippleClan has dealt with this by utilizing the many caves along the cliff as shelter and dens, as well as on the cliff itself, where bushes and ferns, reinforced with palm leaves and vines provide cozy shelter.
Some landmarks include the beach and the bay, as well as the Tallpalm, a large palm tree that is older than anyone can remember, which the RippleClan leader uses for clan gatherings and meetings. There is also the Sister Hills, which are two large hills a ways behind camp that have a good vantage point over the RippleClan territory and often have a sentry there posted just in case an enemy clan decides to attack. Finally, there is the Darkwoods, which is, in fact a Jungle, and one of the most-fought over pieces of territory, as it is disputed with DuskClan. Borders are always shifting here.
And that’s about it, have fun roleplaying! 🙂
Blazey, is StarClan a thing to them? can I have a medicine cat meeting with the other clans sometime?
Skyflower blinked awake, the nursery scents flooding her nose. She purred softly as Mintkit and Goldenkit play-wrestled in the center of the den, while their sister Willowkit pressed her nose to her mother’s belly.
“Willowkit! Come play with us!” Mintkit called, her eyes shining.
“I’m fine here!” The gray tabby replied, closing her eyes and burying her muzzle deeper on Skyflower’s pelt.
Hazymist purred softly at the sound of kits playing.
She padded back into her den, then gasped. She smelled blood.
“come in!” she called as paws sounded outside the den.
It was only a faint scent, couldn’t be too bad of a wound.
(can it be one of the kits that somehow got hurt from playing?)
(Sure!)
“Mommy!” Goldenkit wailed. One of his paws was bleeding. “Mintkit hurt me!”
“It was an accident!” Mintkit exclaimed angrily.
Goldenkit and Skyflower walked into the den.
Goldenkit was limping slightly.
“Mintkit clawed him a little. They were just playing,” Skyflower told her.
“Okay, it’s fine.”
Goldenkit whimpered while Hazymist examined his paw.
She licked it clean and said,
“You’ll be fine, just don’t play too hard.”
“Thanks, I’ll make sure they don’t.” Skyflower replied
(Try not to control what my character says next time, if that’s okay? Thanks!)
Skyflower smiled and carried her kits back to the nursery. “You’re a great medicine cat, Hazymist!” She called after the she-cat.
Hazymist didn’t respond. She liked the quiet, and she just stood there for a few moments before disappearing into the back of the fern den and coming back with a leaf wrap in her jaws.
The other day she had spotted a pair of eyes in between the cracks in the ferns. She carefully held the wrap between her jaws careful not to touch the berry inside. She set the wrap down and padded across the clearing to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a fish. She trotted back and stuffed the leaf wrap into the fish then left it in a crack between the dirt.
The fox would be sorry to have ever come to our camp.
