Who are your favourite characters?
My all time favourite is Keefe. However, I feel like he’s great until the first half of Flashback, and then I don’t love him as much. But still an amazing character, who deserves all of Silveny’s KEEFE! KEEFE! KEEFE’s.
My second favourite is Marella. She doesn’t have as much page time as some of the other main characters, but she’s still a great character. I feel like her personality is a bit similar to mine, and the fact that she is a Pyrokinetic is so cool, especially cuz I feel like that’s the ability I would have. Definitely underrated, and deserves more attention.
Some honorable mentions are Tam and Biana. I don’t love their characters as much as I love Keefe and Marella’s, but they are both good characters, with good personality. I think Tam is slightly better than Biana, but overall they are basically tied for third.
Anyways, yeah. There are my favourites. What are yours?

I used to like Linh, but I feel like she is a Mary Sue, and kinda boring. And yeah, Dex is also cool

KEEFE KEEFE KEEFE is my fave character. I LOVE RO and I also like Sophie and Tam, and then Linh and Biana and then Dex. Marella is pretty cool. Then Meruca I guess. Not a fan of Fitz. At all.

Any characters you really, really, just hate?
For me it’s Fitz. I just hate him. He’s controlling, stupid, angry, bratty, selfish, and unreasonable. And don’t even get me started on Fitzphie. Sokeefe is so much better. Like 100000000000000000+ (you get the point) times better
i disagree about fitz tbh, yeah he definitely might not be as good as keefe in terms of relationships with sophie but i still find him as one of my favorites and he’s more than just an angry brat imo :3
i really dislike cassius, vespera, and umm nobody else actually!! kotlc is one of the series where i surprisingly don’t hate that many characters 😛
I have to agree that Fitz is terrible, but I can understand where he’s coming from 🙂 so I can’t really hate him at this point 😛

Dex x Linh (Linx) is my favorite ship. I shipped Sodex for a while, then I realized that Dex deserved better. Keefe and Sophie can be absolute mouse brains together!
ALVAR IS DA BEST. Same reason why I love Ashfur actually. I have a type. The evil ones who have a reason to be evil. why do I feel like chandelitz and jaystick are the same ship?

[UNRAVELED SPOILERS]
I LOVED IT. keefe is my favorite character and i really enjoyed the humanland adventures with alvar. theyre both really great (albeit morally questionable) characters i love them. the eleanor scene at the end felt somewhat out of the blue but i liked how it sort of brought a bit of closure to that whole subplot if that makes sense
my new favorite characters after reading this book:
1: KEEFE KEEFE KEEFE as always
2: Ro (love the queen)
3: Eleanor! she only appeared briefly at the end but i also loved her overall personality and her backstory really had me going “😖” at times
4: alvar. this book definitely gave me a more positive opinion on him and i really like how hed rather just forget the lost cities altogether it really resonates with me for some reason, i also love his dynamic with keefe
5: silveny (self explanatory. SOPHIE. KEEFE. TALK. SOPHIE! FRIEND! 🫶)
6: sandor (i was originally just going to post the top 5 but i thought sandor deserved a spot on that leaderboard, he’s really awesome <3)
