I need someone to talk to about the new D&D movie so I came here. If anyone’s watched it, please answer the following questions: *Also major spoiler alerts, scroll past this if you haven’t seen it*
1. Favorite character and why?
2. Least favorite character and why?
3. Opinion on that paladin guy (Yendar or whatever his name was)?
4. Did anybody else think, “Roll for initiative” or “Roll a persuasion check” at any point? 😛
5. Did you cry when Holga died?
6. Did it also seem to you like when the DM plans out VERY CAREFULLY what the campaigners are supposed to do and then they all throw it down the garbage and do their own thing?
My answers:
1. Doric, I love her and she reminds me of my former D&D character. Also Simon because Simon <3
2. Forge because he's a lying, backstabbing, horrible person.
3. I liked him and found him quite funny.
4. Obviously yes 😛
5. No, I've been hardened by all the Warriors books I've read and all the sad movies I've watched lol. Also I knew that they were most likely going to use the tablet on her, so yeah.
6. It honestly reminded me of some of the campaigns I've played where the DM has this very specific things that he wanted us to do and we disregarded it and went on a separate adventure 😛
1. The druid Tiefling (Don’t know her name) because I like her ability to shapeshift into different animals, and also because I understand why she doesn’t like humans. 😛
2. Forge, because he is dislikable.
3. I forgot which one that was. 😛
4. No, because I haven’t played D&D yet. 😛
5. No, but I felt sad.
6. Same answer as Q4.

Has anybody else here watched The Super Mario Bros. Movie?
I already have (on the first day it came out, naturally) and I really, really, really enjoyed it. I adored the references, the animation, the voice acting that everybody shunned, and, yeah, the music. I loved seeing more of the characters’ personalities (even relating to Mario at some points), and I found the characters relatively likable, even Bowser. Despite some slight flaws (specifically the pacing), the story wasn’t all that bad, contrary to what most people have said. Overall, I’m really glad I watched it, and I’d definitely recommend if you really like Mario, or if you just want to have a really fun time.

even though i love the mario games dearly i don’t currently intend on watching the mario movie because from what ive heard and seen it just doesn’t seem like my cup of tea, and i really wouldn’t want to waste £10-£15 on a film at the cinema that i could potentially absolutely hate (im glad millions of other mario fans are enjoying it though)
the mario movie was so good!!!! i loved the references especially
they should have had more luigi’s mansion though just saying

Anyone seen The Flash yet? I’m, like, the only DC fan over here so I doubt it 😛
To be honest, I feel like they should’ve gone with the og Flashpoint storyline, which was my first introduction to the DC universe and one of my favorite comics so far. I mean, DCEU and DC are different matters, but instead of playing Man of Steel all again and making Zod look weak, don’t you think a post-apocalypse setting would be much cooler? The effects were pretty great though, and apart from my opinion, it’s a pretty decent movie and would recommend it :>
I have! It wasn’t the best movie I’ve ever seen, but it’s definitely far from the worst. I enjoyed myself.
