    One of the characters I’m making, Shardrunner, would look like this-

    Name: Shardrunner
    Gender: Tom
    Appearance: White and grey dappled tom with multiple scars on front legs, and deep green eyes. Slashed ears.
    Former rank while alive: Deputy
    Personality: Strict, commanding, brusque, easily angered, cruel
    Reason they’re in the DF: Treason, murder
    Backstory: A classic tale of ambition and love gone wrong- Shardrunner was a promising warrior, and no one was surprised when he was chosen as deputy after the previous one died in a fox attack. However, Shardrunner fell hard for his leader at the time, Rainingstar, a notorious heartthrob.

    The only problem was, Rainingstar didn’t love him.

    And over the moons, this took a toll on his sanity- why didn’t she love him? Was something wrong with him? And eventually, this morphed into anger and hate.

    One night, he snuck into her den, and with one claw swipe, Rainingstar was dead. And then she came back to life. And Shardrunner killed her. Again. Four times in total. After his clanmates found out, he was exiled, and eventually died alone, run over by a monster on the Thunderpath.

    Truly evil or not: Yes, he has lost all semblance of good in him.

      Gender: Female
      Appearance: Pale cream she-cat with bright blue eyes and white paws
      Personality: She’s a very determined and strong cat, but sometimes cries at night because she wishes she were with her family in StarClan.
      Reason they’re in the DF: She had been really angry because her best friend had killed her kits, and lost all control of herself. She killed her best friend and her siblings, and tried to lead her Clanmates into a fox den. The leader exiled her and she lived a short life as a rogue. By then she was too weakened by her battles, and she died, waking up in the Dark Forest.
      Backstory: Aspenbloom had lived a wonderful life before everything turned upside down. She had an amazing mate and kits, and was a great warrior. But one day, her best friend Fawnfur started acting strange. She muttered in her sleep, and was often sleep-deprived. Fawnfur woke up with scars that looked like a cat had done them, and Aspenbloom drifted farther and farther away from her friend. Eventually she cornered her Fawnfur one day, asking what was wrong. In un-controlled craziness, Fawnfur leapt at Aspenbloom and almost killled her. Shocked, Aspenbloom fought her, and before she realized it Fawnfur was dead. In her grief and guilt, Aspenbloom lost control of herself, forgot her surroundings, and killed her mate and kits. She now lies in the DF, crying and hoping no one hears her. When she battle-trains with some other DF cats, she pretends she’s as fierce as any of them, but deep inside she thinks the only way to get to StarClan is get in the plans, fight their battles, and then eventually turn on them and defeat the DF.

      Reason they’re in the DF: murder, murder, and murder
      Backstory: Rosewilt was always outcasted and outspoken. She was never taken seriously. One day she had a feeling on vengeance, and decided that the evil life was for her. She turned to her best friend, Silvermoon, for advice on how to take over. Slowly, the two managed to eliminate the former deputies, one by one. Soon, Rosewilt was made deputy, with her dreams of taking over the clans coming closer. She was never satisfied, and knew she never could be. One day, Rosewilt caught Silvermoon attempting to heal one of the former deputies while he was passed out. Filled with rage, Rosewilt sliced her neck open and left her body for the foxes. Her looks always helped her get her way. She was later caught one day and exiled. She smirked, knowing she was their strongest warrior. They didn’t know what they were missing. She was killed by a clan mate who found her in the wild.

      Personality: Hostile, distrusting, secretive, strong, determined, secretly grieving and lonely
      Reason they’re in the DF: Attempted murder, dubbed “evil” in her Clan
      Backstory: As a young warrior of RiverClan, everyone thought that Flameshadow would one day be the next deputy, or even leader, of her Clan. But after a battle with ShadowClan left Flameshadow’s best friend, Breezeshimmer, and her mate, Sagestep, both dead, and Flameshadow expecting Sagestep’s kits, Flameshadow was grief-stricken and out for vengeance. After her kits, Breezekit, Sagekit, and Pebblekit, were apprenticed, Flameshadow set out to find the culprit of who killed Breezeshimmer and Sagestep. She made the shocking discovery that it, in fact, was a RiverClan warrior named Frostwind. By then, Flameshadow was the RiverClan deputy, and one night, Flameshadow ended up attacking Frostwind. However, she couldn’t kill him because she heard a RiverClan patrol approaching. When she returned to the camp, she found her Clan leader dying from greencough, and on her way to the Moonpool to receive her 9 lives, was assassinated by Frostwind, who decided only to “get even.” Frostwind told the Clan that he had HAD to kill her, as she was trying to kill him. Because of this, and StarClan’s terrible judgement, Flameshadow was sent to the Dark Forest. She still grieves for not being able to reunite with her mate, friend, and (she assumes now) her kits.

      Reason they’re in the DF: followed a bad cat and gotten herself killed in battle by 4 cats
      Backstory: The kit was an orphan, with no littermates or parents. She was born as a loner/rogue, and a tom called Stripedclaw found her and named her Dapplekit, taking her back to Riverclan. Stripedclaw at the moment was gaining followers for his evil plan for power, and he thought Dapplekit would be a good choice. Dapplepaw’s mentor wasn’t him, but he took her hunting and battle training almost every day, making the young app grateful and she looked up to him. Dappleclaw always listened to him, and the young warrior’s good heart eventually turned evil. Like EVIL. She was mislead, but then she literally became evil. So when Stripedclaw rebelled, she followed and fought as viciously as Stripedclaw. It took 4 warriors to bring her down. Her last words were: “What a waste land! If we can’t save it by choosing a more reasonable leader, we’d better wipe it out. I always keep promises!”

      Reason they’re in the DF: Drawn Mad & Regret
      Backstory: Wisp’Paw was a great apprentice, she had a great family & littermates. And especially her brother Ghost’Leaf was extremely close. One day Ghost’Leaf and her were doing T or D. Ghost chose D. So Wisp dared him to cross the thunder path. Halfway through a car hit him. Wisp zipped toward her limp brother. She ruffled and shook him. Wisp knew he was gone. While shaking him a white flower drifted out of his fur. Wisp looked at it and kept it. During Wisp’s Warrior Ceremony the same day, she received her name Wisp’Flower. Out of regret because of her brother, she didn’t want anyone else she cared about to get hit by a car. Wisp started killing littermates, her mother, her father, everyone she loved, even her crush. While killing her last littermate, Spirit’Hollow, she missed, Spirit told the whole clan, Wisp was exiled. Wisp joined a rouge group she killed cats for a moon. Soon the rouges turned on Wisp and killed her. Wisp died alone.

      Backstory: Blackrose used to be a kind-hearted she-cat who cared for every cat in her Clan. But there was one cat, a tom, whom she loved the most, Larchfall. They loved each other, but one day, shortly after becoming mates, rogues broke into camp and killed Larchfall, who was defending her. Having zero help or sympathy from her Clanmates, she became mad and is still seeking to avenge her mate today.

      Backstory: Icepaw wanted to be apprenticed as a medicine cat for all of her life. But her sister, Rainpaw, became a medicine cat apprentice instead and Icepaw became overly jealous. One night, she killed her sister, hoping she would be chosen as the medicine cat apprentice to replace her. Instead, the medicine cat, who used to be a warrior, caught her in the act and killed her.

      Personality: Quiet, depressed, hot temper, sometimes cold, introverted

      Reason they’re in the DF: Murder, poisoning, arson (yep 😎)

      Backstory: Maplekit was always drawn to the medicine den. So when she was accepted as the medicine cat Quiethurricane’s apprentice, she was over the moon. Maplepaw was definitely a goody-two-paws, always doing exactly what she was told to when she was told to. When she wasn’t busy, she was hanging out with her best friend, a young tom named Otterpaw (Ottersplash as a warrior). Maplepaw didn’t expect to fall in love. But no cat can control your feelings.

      So when Maplepaw (now Maplesong) fell in love with the cunning and sly warrior Ravenheart, she felt guilty. Really guilty. Since they were both she-cats, it was easy to disguise their relationship as just friends. But it didn’t fool Maplesong’s heart.

      Eventually the negative influence of Ravenheart led Maplesong to act more like her girlfriend. Every cat began to ignore her, even Ottersplash. That just fueled the fire growing inside the molly. And so one night, Ravenheart and Maplesong delve into chaos.

      Stealing a match from Ravenheart’s old Twolegs (she used to be a kittypet), the girls lit fire to ThunderClan. In the midst of the fire, they killed the leader of ThunderClan, Birdstar. Ravenheart stayed at Birdstar’s body while Maplesong went into the medicine den. Quiethurricane had seen the two mollies enflame the camp, and she needed to die. So Maplesong poisoned the medicine cat with deathberries – shoving them down her throat.

      Ravenheart and Maplesong tried to run out of camp then, but the fire engulfed them, and they never made it back out.

      Truly evil or not?: Not really. She’s guilty for her actions.

      Quick, smart, impulsive, loyal, tricked easily (smart, yet not always clever….), strong. Denies the fact she misses her family, all of whom went to StarClan, and meets up with them on the border sometimes.
      Murder, and stood by as a Clanmate died. StarClan thought she saw, but she didn’t.

      As a kit, Ripplekit was happy. She had good parents, and nice friends. She was apprenticed to the deputy at the time, Flaminglight. When Flaminglight was killed in a battle with ShadowClan, Ripplepaw swore vengeance. By this time, she and another cat called Twigpaw clearly liked each other. Neither denied it.

      Then, Ripplepaw’s chance came. She attacked the cat who had killed her mentor in a fight with ShadowClan, but her father, Leafnose,was killed as well. Her mother was devastated. She stopped taking care of herself, and Rippleblaze, now with her warrior name, was concerned.

      Then, a moon later, when Rippleblaze’s mother needed her most, Rippleblaze was pregnant with Twigcloud’s kits. Her mother died of greencough, and Rippleblaze clung onto her kits more then anything else. Then, she discovered Twigcloud liked another warrior, Spottedsky, instead. Driven by fury, she attacked her mate. He survived, but with scars.

      A moon later, she kitted. She barely had time to name them Pebblekit and Leafkit before she fell asleep. When she woke up, her kits were dead, with Spottedsky’s scent all over them.

      Rippleblaze was appointed deputy after Cedarface retired, and served well. Then came the battle with WindClan. The Clanmate she hadn’t noticed die was her friend Shellsneeze. She was sad, but fought through it. Her leader, Marshstar, lost his last life in that battle, and she became leader.

      She fought well as leader, but the vengeance cycle ended with Spottedsky’s accidental death. That caused her former love, Twigcloud, to murder her. She was refused by StarClan, making her furious, and brining her to where she was now. She trains apprentices in the Clans, turning them from light to dark.

      Maybe. This cat was driven by fury, but killed many.

      Backstory: Born a kit in Shadowclan, Bramblescar was hated by her mother and sister, but close to her brother, Shadowpaw. When she was made an apprentice, Shadow paw was killed by a badger. Even though Bramblescar tried to save him, she was still blamed for his death. So she became evil, and did evil murder-y stuff, and was killed by a warrior called Snaketail.

      Personality: A seemingly cold, stuck up, stubborn cat who is actually his kit self just locked away (readback story)

      Reason they’re in the DF: killing deputy and med cat

      Backstory: When Oakstripe was a kit he was very sweet and bright but one fateful night a fox attacked the camp. The fox killed Oakstripe’s mother along with his sister, Moonkit. After that he went in to emo mode and started growing colder and colder. When Oakstripe was sitting vigil for his warrior ceremony he snuck off and killed the med cat, Duskbreeze. In the morning the whole camp was in cause. When Oakstripe was a senior warrior he killed the deputy in hope of becoming the new one. He was unsuccessful. He was later exiled and died. He hoped he would go to SC but went to the DF instead.

      Backstory: Ever since Nightshade was a kit, she had always wanted to be a great warrior, maybe even leader some day. But, her whole world came crashing down when she was chosen for the medicine cat apprentice. She trained hard, and found out all about herbs she could. Then, when the day came that she was fully ready, she poisoned the medicine cat, Mintsplash using deathberries. Then, she murdered the witness of the murder, her own sister, Roseclaw. She then attempted to murder the leader, Flamestar, but instead they killed her in self-defence. Her last words were, “You will never escape from me. I will find you one day, and that day you will fall.”

    Reason they’re in the DF: He took one of his leader’s lives, and refused to help treat his Clanmates during a yellowcough outbreak
    Backstory: He was born with an extra eye, which the leader of his Clan saw as a sign from StarClan. He was forced to become a medicine cat when he got a prophecy from StarClan, or what Glorypaw thought was StarClan. He didn’t want to be a medicine cat, so he planned an attack on his leader, taking one of their lives.
    Truly evil or not? A bit complicated? During life, yes, but in the DF he wishes he could go back and right his wrongs, but I feel like within, he is evil.

    Backstory: Juniper`Paw has always been in the shade, with her sister, Holly`Paw was in the light. Holly`Paw was popular, bright, and nice. With Juniper`Paw with her only friend Vine`Paw, he was her ideal friend, since kit hood. As long as Juniper`Paw was friends with Vine`Paw she’d be happy. Soon, Holly`Paw, Juniper`Paw, and Vine`Paw had they’re assessments,
    Holly`Paw and Vine`Paw passed, leaving Juniper`Paw in the dust. Juniper`Paw grew hatred towards the two, she’d started her apprenticeship at the same time yet they were ahead. Juniper`Paw’s anger drove her to murder her mentor, which she did succesfully, the next morning her new mentor was, Holly`Cloud, none other, her sister. Juniper`Paw was sick of everything, she attacked her sister that night, but was unsuccessful, her sister had her pinned down and said the final words she ever heard
    “I’m sorry, but, I give you your new name, Juniper`Branch ”
    Juniper`Branch’s mind was whirling then all went black, and she found her self in the treacherous forest, The Place Of No Stars.
    Truly evil or not? No, she realized in the end what she had done and regrets it silently, she misses her sister dearly and wishes she could go see her family one last time.

Bramblekit and Shadowkit were very close, but shadowpaw was killed by a badger and the blame was put on bramblepaw. Nightstar would not make her leader, and she was angry. she did evil stuff

    Personality: Quiet, unforgiving, resilient, stubborn, vengeful
    Reason they’re in the DF: She murdered her leader, but was killed in the process.
    Backstory: She was bonr to abusive parents who clearly had a favourite. Her kits were exiled form the clan while still apprentices, thus sparking anger at her leader for being so cruel to her kits. Since then, her love has been draining away, and she has separated from her clanmates to sit alone when others are sharing tongues.
    Truly evil or not? Yes and no. She needs a stopper for her love cuz it’s draining out. (Her love for her kits was what kept her sane, and after they were taken away from her she started to spiral into insanity)

    Name: Daisymist
    Gender: Female
    Appearance: A smallish she with thick, soft, light brown fawnish coloured fur with streaks of white and black, and slightly darker brown speckles that start on her back and fade to white towards her paws. She has an ice blue right eye and a light hazel brown left eye with a large scar over it. She has a HUGE fluffy tail and big patch scar on her left leg, from the foot to the top of the thigh, from a fire (in her backstory). She also has a scar that snakes from her muzzle to the middle of her neck and a speckled pink nose. She has tufted ears. I may include art if you need me to so you can see a visual thing of her.
    Former rank while alive: Deputy (She had kits while being deputy, so)
    Personality: She appears to be soft, sweet, protective and motherly, but she is really a merciless, brutal beast on the inside. She is rude, aggressive, impulsive, ambitious, and hot-headed. She is very emotional about some subjects, and bitter when it comes to her past.
    Reason they’re in the DF: Murder, treason, watching a dying without stopping it, Murder accomplice.
    Truly evil or not: Yes and no, she didn’t even try to redeem herself in life, but wants to fight back and help her Clan and the others, and maybe even go to StarClan to be with her kits.

  • Backstory: DaisyKit, formally Daisy, was born to parents who were not part of a Clan, Lily and Slash, alongside her littermates, Holly and Peach. Slash was the leader of a group of rogues who existed solely to fight and invade the Clans. When Lily gave birth to Slash’s kits, he was happy at first, but soon turned bitter and cold towards them when Holly swatted at his deputy’s tail, causing him to scratch her. Slash didn’t blame the deputy, but his kit. He told Lily that she was going to have to kill her kits, but she refused. Slash grew angry with her, and one day lashed out, ripping her throat open, killing her while a battle between the rogues and a Clan called MapleClan. Two she-cats in the battle found the kits alongside the corpse of their dead mother, and took them back to MapleClan with them. One of the she-cats, whose name was PoppySnow, was barren and always wanted to have kits. Her best friend, SageCrystal, was not. She had kits, but they had died. She and her mate, MoonStrike, took them in, and named them DaisyKit, HollyKit, and PeachKit. They were soon apprenticed, and DaisyPaw’ mentor was none other than SageCrystal! She was overjoyed to have her mother as a mentor, and trained as hard as she could, passing her assessment with flying coloUrs. She received her warrior name, DaisyMist, alongside her siblings, HollyFlame and PeachThorn. She mentored her first apprentice, HoneyPaw, who was made a warrior early, earning the name HoneyNose. DaisyMist was made deputy the day their old deputy, MarshWalker, passed away. She was perfectly living her life, until she made a big mistake. She fell in love with a warrior from another Clan, named AcornBird. He was a HollyClan cat. She became pregnant with his kits, and had to force her friend, VineLegs, to say the kits were his. She nursed them well, no one suspected anything, until VineLegs fell in love with none other than DaisyMist’s sister, PeachThorn. She bore his kits, and the Clan knew that one of them was lying. DaisyMist told them it wasn’t her, but they didn’t believe her after VineLegs said that PeachThorn was his rightful mate. DaisyMist was exiled, but she came and forced PeachThorn to say that VineLegs had lied, and she was accepted back into the Clan. She then started to tell HollyClan everything about MapleClan, from hiding places to battle tactics. She continued doing this unnoticed, and when HollyClan went to war with MapleClan, a kit was being killed by a HollyClan warrior. She didn’t try to stop it, and watched the kit die. During that battle, it started to storm. Lightning struck a tree, starting a fire. DaisyMist knew what to do. She cornered her leader, the new deputy, and the medicine cat. She spat all the things that had gone wrong in her life, and managed to push the leader into the fire. She then picked up the scrawny deputy and threw him off of the cliff they were trapped on. The medicine cat jumped off the cliff to try and save the deputy, but died from the fall. DaisyMist went back down to the rest of the Clan, and tried to kill HollyFlame, but PeachThorn came out of nowhere, stopping DaisyMist and killing her, sending her to the Dark Forest once and for all. She sometimes wishes she could go to StarClan and be with her family, who had all perished in the battle. Also, I didn’t mean to put accomplice in murder. Also when she was exiled, her kits were killed by a badger.

    Backstory: as born to her mother and her siblings graykit and wispkit she wasn’t the favourite and her mother ignored her most of the time and when she became a apprentes her mentor bullied her a bunch and manipulated her to do evil she died and went to starclan cause she was 50% good and 50% bad she could go to the df or starclan but got trapped in the df and forgot who she was or why she was there the only thing she remembered was her name and her mentors names

    Personality: Cunning, arrogant, and flirtatious. She is seemingly perfect, and likes to go looking for fights. She can be manipulative and extremely rude.
    Reason they’re in the DF: Murder and abusive apprentice training.
    Backstory: Nightshade was born a fighter, from the start she was always striving to be the best. When she became an apprentice, she was apprenticed to Thistlestone, who constantly overworked her with harsh training. She grew cold and when she became a warrior and gained an apprentice of her own, she took it too far. Nightshade would force her apprentice, Cherrypaw, to fight her with claws unsheathed. After she finished mentoring her apprentice, she had her eyes on being deputy. So she cornered the deputy, and tryed to kill him, but Chervilnose was too quick, running to the leader, who then had her exiled. She didn’t stop there, and sneaked back into camp and killed the leader, who was on his last life. She was found by the deputy, and threw into a fire for her sins, hence the burns on her legs.
    Truly evil or not?: Yes, and she thinks she deserves the Dark Forest.

    Please disregard Daisymist, and I may make another character sometime soon, I’m just too lazy to do it now.
