Claimed!
Hey Iva 👋 Thanks for the link, do u want me to do the intro for the article?
actually I’d like to do that, if that’s ok with you
Sure, that’s fine with me
Actually Ashi, would you mind if I used this page as a page for joint articles and interviewing everyone? We could do writing in the comments but feel free to tell me if you don’t feel comfortable with that, I could get another SPS for that 🙂
Sure, that’s fine 🙂
Ty!
So just to be clear, we’re still writing the article on this sps?
Definitely, I’m just going to use this page for all article writing.
Here’s my intro:
Hello, kits/apprentices/warriors/deputies/elders/leader! Today, the awesome Ashenpaw and I are going to be writing an timeline article on a fantastic, loyal, brave, popular cat you know, IVYPOOL! Let’s jump right in!
What event should we start with? Do you just want to start with general facts like her parents and littermates, as well as book and season she was born in, or skip her birth?
Let’s do her closest kin first I think, what arc and period she was born in, and then her apprentice times (unless there’s anything you want to include before that?)
No that’s good.
So her closest kin is her parents, Birchfall and Whitewing and her sister Dovekit/paw/wing. She was born in PoT, Sunrise and the season was leaf-bare
Is it ok if I do that part? If it is:
Ashenpaw: Let’s start with her birth, and her closest kin! Ok, she was born in PoT, the book was Sunrise, and the season was Leaf-bare. Her father was Birchfall, her mother was Whitewing, and her sister is the infamous Dovewing. Her grandparents are Brightheart and Cloudtail (and of course she’s related to Firestar in a way)
Sure, np! What should we do next?
Their mentors, more apprentice stuff (u can do that if u want) and can I do the “my sister has superpowers she’s a superhero and I’m getting jealous” part pls?
Sure!
Ivypool was apprenticed to Cinderheart at 6 moons alongside her sister Dovewing in leaf-bare during the drought. She didn’t seem to want to be seperated from Dovepaw.
(do you want to do her grumpiness during Dovepaw’s mission or should I?)
You can do that if u want, and afterwards I’ll do the Ivy’s reaction at Dovepaws powers
(Ii Iva! Carrying the article conversation to here 😛 )
I’m also great! (Even though there is only one month left of my winter break 😛 ) Ty, your’s is cool too!
Maybe we can just give critical looks on each of them together ( so it would be more critical, I’m probably not good at it too 😛 ), and good idea, let’s use that ending for now? 😀
Hey Roses! I started school again today so I won’t be as acitve but I’ll still be around don’t worry!
Alright, how do you want to start it?
Ok!
Kinda just introduce ourselves and the topic, like this?
Ryry: Hi BlogClan! The Ivypool x Dovewing debate is one of the most heated ones of Warriors, and today me and the pawsome Ivypaw/heart are going to do an article on analyzing the positive and negative traits of both of them. Let’s start!
(That’s so cringey :P)
It’s amazing! And tysm for calling me Pawsome!
np you are 😛
alright, should we do Dove or Ivy first?
I was thinking of comparing them in each part according to aspects and timelines, we could do Dove first? (random select, also she kinda drove the plot more?)
Some aspects: Things and their reactions in their POV (parts in chonical order?), others’ POVs (??), their positive and negative traits (after each part), defense (after each part)?
Alright! Can we do positive traits first?
Dovewing is caring, loyal and devoted. She also is very smart.
She seems to care about everyone around her and tries hard to please them.
Do have anything to add to this paragraph Roses (and yes I’m calling you that ’cause you’re amazing just like the chocolates)
Sure and tysm! 😛
(If adding reason maybe:
She loves her sister and tries to be friends with her even in hard situations. She risked her warrior assessment when making sure Ivypaw’s was going well, and made sure she was safe when Ivypool was spying in the DF, even suggesting to let her take a break. She is loyal to Tigerheart and didn’t betray him in border situations despite being angry at him. Even though she didn’t like being a prophecy cat at first, she soon accepted it and worked hard for it since kithood, and later risked her relationship with Tigerheart to keep her powers a secret.
Maybe we could put these in the things-that-happened part)
She is spiritual, eager and brave.
Ofc! Alright what should we do next?
(replying here to Ashi)
Ivypaw was very surprised and slightly hurt when her sister, Dovewing was chosen for the mission to the beaver’s den. She hated to think that Firestar favored her sister over her but convinced herself it was true and was grumpy while her sister journeyed. When her sister was back she was glad to have her back but wary that Dovepaw wouldn’t want to spend time with her. She also felt hurt when Dovepaw called Sedgewhisker ‘her friend’ and wanted to check on the she-cat, feeling like Dovepaw didn’t care about her.
What do u mean by Ivy’s reaction to Dove’s powers? Like when she went to the DF or when she was told about them?
I guess I mean how Ivypool decided to join the dark Forest for training after she found out about her sister’s powers. If that’s ok:
Ashenpaw: Ivy started to get jealous of her sister, and felt that Dove got all of the attention. Dovewing was even welcome into the leader’s den at all times! Ivypool felt alone . . . so she joined the training in the Dark Forest and became a spy for ThunderClan. Her dream finally came true: to be in the most awesomest club and practice violence every night when your supposed to to be sleeping peacefully.
Great! Can we change the last sentence tho? It kinda seems like an Ivy hate sentence. What about:
Her dream finally came true: to be noticed and appreciated, to be treated like someone important not just “Dovepaw’s dumb sister” as she put it.
Yeah good idea
Alright, what should we do next? Her warrior ceremony?
Sure, then the Great Batte? Idk, there’s not much to say about it but she did get an apprentice (snowpaw)
Alr but I think Snowpaw was after the Great Battle. Can I please do the Great Battle bit as well as the warrior ceremony? You can do her mentoring skills!
Here’s the warrior ceremony part:
Ivypaw did well on her warrior assessment and became a full warrior, Ivypool. Firestar pointed out her loyalty and intelligence and she sat her vigil next to the newly named Dovewing.
Sure, but like u pointed out, Snowpaw was after the great battle. So do u wanna do Snowpaw now or later? I’ll just write it now:
Ivypool got her first apprentice, Snowpaw/bush. His parents are Brightheart and Cloudtail, so that’s right, Ivypool and her first apprentice are related! Anyway, in books like Bramblestar’s Storm, she was a great mentor. She was still stern, making sure Snowpaw knew she was in charge, but that’s what makes her so great. She taught him many things, and he turned out to be a great warrior.
Nice! Here’s mine on the Great Battle:
During the Great Battle, Ivypool not only fought for the clnas but also convinced other Dark Forest Trainees to fight for the clans which really helped the clans win the battle. She risked her life and almost died at Hawkfrost’s claws only to be saved by Hollyleaf. She proved her loyalty to the clans more than ever, during the Great Battle.
Would you rather do her mothering skills or her mentorship to Twigbranch?
