Giving WoF Characters Warrior Names by Fawnpaw

Silverpaw gives warrior names to characters from Wings of Fire.

Hi Blogclan! I thought it was about time I made an article and while searching for ideas I realized there aren’t a lot WoF articles. So I decided to make one myself! Anyways, without further ado, let’s start!

First I’m gonna do the DoD and in a maybe second part I’ll do others.
Clay: Clay could be a prefix but heart has to be the suffix and Clayheart kinda sounds like he has a cold heart. So I thought of some other prefixes and Mud, Marsh and Copper came to mind. Copperheart sounds great to me and Marshheart sounds nice too. But I think Copperheart sounds the best so Clay is now Copperheart!

Tsunami: Tsunami is one of my favourites because she is brave, stubborn and a general slay queen so I’m going to give her the prefix Wave because she is fierce like a wave. Her suffix could be -heart because she has a brave heart but that’s too basic so I thought maybe storm could be a better suffix. Wavestorm sounds nice doesn’t it? So Tsunami is now Wavestorm!

Glory: Glory could have Venom or Poison as a prefix but that makes her sound evil so I’m not going with that. Shimmer fits perfectly and depicts her beauty well so Shimmer it is! The suffix could be heart but that makes her sound ditzy and naive, basically like Blaze. Scale could be one, because of her beautiful scales that can change colour and shimmer in the sun. Shimmerscale sounds good so Glory is now Shimmerscale!

Starflight: Starflight is basically a warrior name already but Star is kinda special so I’m gonna give him one anyways. Starflight is a bookworm and quiet so Owl could be a prefix, again, not a great prefix because it doesn’t really fit Starflight. Deer, Doe and Fawn all mean quiet and meek but Doe stands out the most. The suffix could be shine because he wants to shine and Doeshine sounds nice so Starflight is now Doeshine!

Sunny: An easy a prefix is Sunny, Sun or Sweet but that doesn’t really ‘shout’ Sunny so I’m going to go with Bubble cause she is just really Bubbly you know? Anyways, for the suffix a good one is blaze or flame cause she literally generates heat and she is a Sandwing. Bubbleblaze sounds kinda good but Bubblingflame sounds better in my opinion so Sunny is now Bubblingflame!

I’m going to do clan and appearance now starting with Clay. I would imagine him as a muscular brown tom with darker spots and warm amber eyes. He would be in Riverclan for his swimming abilities.
Tsunami would be a blue-gray she-cat, leaning more on the blue, with electric indigo stripes on her legs and forehead and deep blue eyes. Obviously she’d be in Riverclan for basically everything.
Next is Glory, now this is hard because she is basically all the colours but I’ll just use her ‘normal’ colours for this. Umm so she would be a cream she-cat with splotches of ginger and pale brown and emerald green eyes. She would be in Shadowclan for her camouflage skills and wit.
Starflight is easily a midnight black tom with small flecks of white all over his pelt and green eyes.
Finally, Sunny is a small golden she-cat with slightly curved ears and warm amber eyes.
