Heyo~ Whistlepaw here! This is my first article, so stick with me as I fumble through whatever this is going to become.
In this article, I am going to change the names of various different cats, if for some reason I didn’t like their name, if I thought their leader would have given them a different one or if I felt as if it didn’t suit them.

#1- Twigbranch
Of course, we are going to start with her. Personally, I wasn’t that bothered about her name but after scrolling through various articles about her or names and the like, I decided that she deserved a change. Originally, I wasn’t sure what to name her, but after reviewing her character, I decided to name her Twigbloom- it was the same concept as the original and it sounded less awkward.

#2- Violetshine
Sister of the above, one of my favourite characters and owner of a nice enough name that for some reason didn’t sit well with me. I’m not completely sure why but I always felt as if it didn’t suit her, so I put her in this article. After thinking a bit about it, I was torn between Violetspark and Violetblaze. I chose the fiery suffixes because, when reading I liked her bravery and passion. In the end, I ended up settling on Violetspark because her rebellious side is quieter compared to Twigbranch’s fire (or ‘blaze’).

#3- Clawface
I barely remember anything about this tom (other than that he killed Spottedleaf) but I do remember cringing at his name. From what I can remember, he was under Brokenstar’s reign at the time, so I thought something violent would probably work best. Eventually, I decided on Clawheart- as he was an aggressive tom, from what I can vaguely remember :p.

#4- Deadfoot
Now, this name was cruel. Why name your warrior something this horrible? I’m fairly sure that he was a deputy- and a good one at that- so originally I was thinking something which sounded stern or firm. But then I remembered that his mother named Hopkit at birth, and Hopkit is a much cuter name than Deadkit. So Hopfoot it is.
