Rotation Helper Applications for Game 6!

This is just a quick post to announce that Rotation helper applications are reopening! If you’re interested in hosting part of the Rotation for Game 6, this is the place to apply!

What does a Rotation Helper do? A Rotation Helper will create, post and judge 10 rounds of the beloved BlogClan game the Rotation . To be very clear, you will not be a moderator, nor will you have any moderating capabilities on the site. 

To start things off, I’m looking for two helpers to take care of Game 5 of the Rotation (Amberpaw/wing will be crowned the winner of our very short Game 4). For each new game, though, we will have 2 new Rotation Helpers.

There are a few rules to being a Rotation Helper: 

1. You must be able to contact me (Osprey) via a private form of messaging that you’ll be highly responsive on (eg. email, Google Chat, Discord, other options can be discussed) 
   • Note – since only I will be seeing your details, you can use a non blog email. If you do have a blog account, though, please use that 😀 I’m not sure what the restrictions on school run email accounts are with non-school emails sending them emails, so try and avoid school accounts unless you know for sure external accounts can email you
2. You must have participated in at least two games of the Rotation
3. You must’ve been on the Blog for at least one month

Applications for Game 6 helpers close on the 16th of February. Two helpers will be chosen, one to host rounds 1-10, and the other to host rounds 11-20

Important update: Despite what I said in the last helper application, YOU MUST SUBMIT A FORM AGAIN IF YOU WISH TO BE A HELPER FOR THIS GAME. I know I said previously that you don’t have to, but in the interest of keeping applications more organised, YOU MUST RESUBMIT A FORM

• When will I be expected to update the Rotation? 
  For consistency’s sake, on the weekend, but it’s fine if that shifts around very slightly.
• How long does it normally take to update the Rotation? 
  Depending on the game, you should be able to reserve 1-1.5 hours per weekend to update the Rotation.
• What if I can’t do a week?
  You have to be able to let me know in advance, and I or the other helper can update it for you.
• I want to apply, but I don’t fit some of the criteria/want to apply at a later date? What should I do? 
  This form will reopen when the next game is about to start, and you can apply later 🙂
• I want to apply, but I know I’ll be unavailable for a long amount of time. What should I do? 
  Put when you’ll be unavailable in the ‘Anything Else’ field at the bottom.
• Can I make new games for the Rotation? 
  Yes, but you need to be able to explain them clearly.
• Why do I need to have participated in at least 2 rounds, and been on the Blog for at least a month? 
  We want you to know how the Rotation works, and be able to engage with the Blog Community effectively.
• Can I apply for the role if I’m already in a helper role? 
  Yes, but you have to be able to fully commit to both roles and complete all the tasks required of both.
• What if I don’t have a private form of communication I can use? 
  Unfortunately, that means that you can’t apply for the role, as I need to be able to communicate with you privately.
• What if I want to use a form of communication not listed? 
  There’s a spot on the form for that! Just let me know in ‘Other’. Secret Pages and the BlogClan Wikia are not private forms of communication.
• Am I expected to make prizes for the winners of the Rotation?
  No

• Can I play the Rotation if I’m a helper? 
  You can play for the rounds you aren’t judging
