Hello, I’m JadeLeap and this is my first article. Its a favourite and least favourite cats because It seemed like a good place to start and I was lost. These are just my opinions, please let me know what you think in the comments. It helps me with future articles.

BTW I know my name says JadeLeap even though I’m an apprentice, my account is a little buggy at the moment and won’t let me change my settings.

Favourite cats:

1. Scourge.
I know this seems weird. Some people who are smarter than me might notice I brought this up in the Elder’s Den but scourge was a good leader who put his clan first. He did things no leader had ever done before because he was put in position no leader had ever been in before. Firestar’s POV made him look evil, but if the book was from the perspective of someone unbiased the invasion would have looked no worse than when Cloudstar tried to get that bit of land back from ThunderClan in Battles of the Clans. At least Cloudstar had enough food to feed his elders.

2. Tallstar.
I’ve always liked this character, in my opinion, he was what Firestar should have been. They both grew up struggling with what everyone thought of them. They both led their clans to greatness and weren’t mindlessly violent. But Tallstar was still good at fighting and strategizing, he thought about the future of his clan after he died, whereas Firestar just trusted Bramblestar with everything. He saw the other clans as equals and mostly was unbiased. He had a good backstory that wasn’t cliched and he wasn’t idolized even though he was great.

3.Riverstar.
All the same reasons as Tallstar. The only thing I don’t like is him and Finch. Finch is just your average cat, she’s brave, but most warriors are like that. They have nothing in common and barely knew each other when they started dating. Him and Night would have been so much better.

4. Jayfeather.
What’s not to like? He’s funny, feisty, sassy, interesting, deep, developed, smart, poised and noble.

5.Gray Wing.
I know lot’s of people think he’s boring, which I partly agree with. But I like his battle tactics, which is an skill that seems underrated in the clans. He’s also not a Gary Sue and his contribution to clan politics is interesting.

Now onto least favourite cats.

1. Oakstar.
