Turning Survivors into Warriors (Part One) by Honeyjade

Honeyjade matches up characters from Survivors to characters from Warriors and gives them warrior names.

Honey again!! Second article I believe. Now, I first started Into the Wild in 2019. However, I didn’t like it and returned it to the library. A month or so later, I found Survivors. I LOVED it! Those were my favorite books for a long time. Until I went to my bookstore in 2020. I saw Into the Wild on the shelf and decided to give it another try. And well….I’m here, so I guess that explains the rest.

Anyways, that’s why I’m doing this article. Because I love both series, and I’m bored right now.

Lucky – I’d put him with Firestar because he’s also the main character of the first arc, but I don’t feel that he has Firestar qualities. Story wise he is definitely Firestar. Lucky went from being a lone dog in the city to the Beta. Firestar was a kittypet who became leader of ThunderClan. Both of them were mates to a rebellious female who they had a rough start with. In that sense, he’s just like Firestar. (Firestar literally has Main Character Syndrome) But personality wise, I think he’s like Cloudstar, the old SkyClan leader. They’re both very persistent about their beliefs and don’t like change. Lucky didn’t want to leave the city to become a wild dog, and Cloudstar didn’t want to leave the forest. So Lucky is either Firestar or Cloudstar. As for his Warrior name, I’m thinking Clover for the prefix because his name is Lucky and clovers can represent luck. Maybe shine because he’s a Golden Retriever mix and he has gold fur. Let’s do that. Clovershine is Lucky’s new Warrior name.

Storm – My favorite character. She’s actually what my OC Stormflight is inspired by. I think she also fits really well with Rootspring. Yes, Rootspring. Different gender, but I think they’re pretty similar. Rootspring got bullied because his dad was “weird” and he was different than other cats. Storm was also made fun of and scared of because she was a Fierce Dog. Storm saw the Fear Dog and other sort of prophetic dreams, and Rootspring can see ghosts. They’re also both sweet and fiery. For Storm’s Warrior name I don’t want to include “storm” in it. That would just be too easy. So I’m thinking Race, because she has long legs, and fall, because her ears flop unlike the Fierce Dogs owned by Longpaws. Racefall it is.

Breeze – Ooo, the little menace. She is DEFINITELY Mapleshade. First off because she’s a female villain. Mapleshade killed Appledusk because he betrayed her, Ravenwish for telling Oakstar (I think that’s his name), and Frecklewish for just watching her kits drown. Breeze killed her victims because Storm and the Wild Pack killed Terror; the only other dog who was crazy about the Fear Dog. Both of them killed for one thing: revenge. And the ways they killed were both insanely brutal….Breeze literally killed Whisper because he liked Storm too much, tried to lure Sweet’s pups into drowning, and basically made Storm think she was insane. Mapleshade got Frecklewish bitten by a snake, killed Ravenwing and left his body by the Moonstone for everyone to see, and didn’t even hesitate to kill her former mate. Yeah, they definitely got together pretty well. For Breeze’s name, I think Swift for the prefix, because that’s another meaning of her name. Either -fox because she’s sly and manipulative, or -night because she committed most crimes at night. I think we’re going with Swiftfox because it depicts her better.

Finally, we have a little bonus and I apologize beforehand on this one.

Tufty- You know, Bellas stillborn pup? Yeah, she’s Emberkit. Wind Runner’s dead little kit. Sorry, I’m cruel, I know. But for Tufty’s name I’m thinking Spiritfade because she helped her cousins and siblings when she was a spirit, and -fade because she was only seen by her siblings and cousins.
