StarClan:Good or Evil? by Willowpaw

Hi guys!This is my first article today and I’m so excited.So today’s article is about StarClan.Of course you’ll wonder,”What’s wrong with StarClan?They’re the good guys, right?”
Well…right and wrong!You see, StarClan makes mistakes too.For example, taking in Ashfur after he died (glares at the StarClan warriors).Sometimes they take in the ones who deserve a place.And then there are the prophecies that are very helpful because they warn you of the future and stuff like that.

Now let’s look at the right (and approved) things they did.
First is taking in those who died.Let’s look at Leafpool for example.She broke the warrior code by seeing AND being mates with a cat from another clan.Then she found out she was having kits.Of course she freaked out and gave them to her sister, Squirrelflight. But let’s skip to the important part.In StarClan’s eyes, this was clearly forbidden.They decided to send her to the Dark Forest, which was kind of silly.But when Leafpool died, it was said in the book, Lights In The Mist, that she stood in front of the greatest warriors and had to go through a test or something.Then they decided to forgive her, which made the readers happy.
Note: StarClan can be forgiving if they want too.So we should not hate them about this part.
Ok…what’s second?Relationships.
Relationships beyond your own clan were forbidden in the old times.We are talking about the old code.We already did Leafpool and she broke it twice by being mates with a cat from another clan while being a medicine cat. Tigerclaw is another example.Instead he had a second mate who was a kittypet then turned into a rogue. That was kind of confusing because in the code, there was a rule saying you can’t have a mate that is a rogue or a kittypet. And Tigerclaw/star clearly hated kittypets and rogues.So…yeah.I don’t know why he loved her. Graystripe and Millie are different.Millie joined the clans to be with Graystripe. Graystripe also joined RiverClan to be with Silverstream. So I guess StarClan lets them join another clan to be with their mate from another clan.

I’m sorry if this article was short.I’ll try to make it longer.In conclusion, StarClan is a bit of good and evil.
