Why Squirrelxash is better than Squirrelxbramble by Sliverthorn

Sliverthorn argues why Ashfur would’ve been better for Squirrelflight than Brambleclaw.

This is sliverthorn, telling you my unpopular opinion that Squirrel×ash is better than Squirrel×brable. First, I will provide counteranswers for the naysayers. Then I will share other supporting info. Let’s get into it!

Age gap
I don’t think most people care about this one. Ashfur is only a few moons older than Brambleclaw . No one really seems to have a problem with this, but I thought I’d bring it up.

The whole Ashfurfire thing
Yep. This does not help my case, but I had to bring it up. Not because it helped thier relationship, because it wouldn’t have happened if Brambleclaw let them have a relationship. Plus, take this for example. Leafpool trusts Squirrelflight enough to let her mother her illegal kits. This is a two way bond. But still, when Leafpool told her not to trust hawkfrost because of tigerstar, she didn’t listen. But then, leafpool was right about hawkfrost. And this is no indication that she should break up with Brambleclaw. At all. So ash takes revenge on her terrible life choices by attempting to rekindle thier love. Needless to say, it didn’t work. And then the og three start trying to uncover the mystery. If Hollyleaf hadn’t killed him, then the three would probably unveil the answer, Brambleclaw would lose all trust in Squirrelflight, and she could get with Ashfur. I want to keep going down this rabbit hole, but if I do this will be considered a fanfic. Next thing!

The whole imposter deal
Yes. This. This does not help. I’m trying to think of a way to say Squirrelflight only liked brableclaw because looks, can’t say I agree, and ash in the she thinks is more beautiful should help, but I can’t. Let’s move on.

Similarities
They are both very firce. This could help them be more cautious and slightly dim thier fury for the better, as these relationships normally do. They aren’t really that similar otherwise, but they don’t need to be.
