  • I might not apply, but I would be glad to help you think of ideas!
    Do you plan on centering the fan fiction on the real Clans, or make up some new ones of your own? I have a few ideas:
    SorrelClan– an outgoing Clan that cares for other cats, but unfortunately can be quite gullible in their alliances
    FeatherClan– a secretive Clan that shies away from alliances, and is usually introverted and mysterious
    StormClan– an arrogant Clan that believes that it is the best Clan, but is quite persuasive with its alliances.

  • I have an idea for a character (could be a main character)
    Name: Ashpaw/whisper
    Purrsona: gray she-cat with a star-shaped mark on her head and blue eyes
    Personality: fierce, mysterious, quiet
    Backstory: Ashkit dreamed of being a warrior, but because of the star-shaped mark on her head, she was chosen as a medicine cat instead. She is planning on leaving her Clan but doesn’t want to abandon her younger siblings, Honeykit and Ripplekit
    Family: All dead, except for Honeykit (pale gray she-kit with amber eyes, cheerful and short-tempered) and Ripplekit (dark blue-gray tom with blue eyes, friendly and calm)

  • Here’s some characters to include, I could write one of them as a main (preferably Nightberry)

    Name: Nightberry
    Gender: Tom
    Sexuality: Gay
    Purrsona: Small blue-black tom with black paw stripes and dark blue eyes
    Purrsonality: Jumpy, a bit anxious, smart, quick in battle, fierce fighter
    Mate (optional): Sootlark (friend/crush – future mate)
    Kits (optional): None, but will adopt and him and Sootlark would trade off as den dads. Future kit adopted at the border: Applekit (brown she-cat with tuft of fur covering green eyes)
    Backstory: Former Tribe cat or rogue who lives in the mountains (if they don’t have Tribe cats) and is very talented at chasing on open moors, but also climbing rough terrain and jumping very high to catch large birds. Has unique fighting skills that I will write if Nightberry is chosen. (Not too special, just a little bit like a Tribe cat’s)

    Name: Sootlark
    Gender: Tom
    Sexuality: Bisexual
    Purrsona: Tall white tom with lightish gray-blue paws, tail-tip, and ears
    Purrsonality: Colder, thoughtful, smart, protective of certain cats
    Mate (optional): Nightberry (friend/crush – future mate)
    Kits (optional): Same as Nightberry
    Backstory: Clan cat, met Nightberry (Night/Night Berry On Stalk) at the border and brought him back to camp. Didn’t talk for awhile, but then were partnered for hunting and Sootlark realized how skilled and talented Nightberry was. He had this fuzzy feeling, but he didn’t know he had a crush on Nightberry until much later, though Nightberry knew quite immediately he liked Sootlark

  • So! Ideas for the plot, since I’m a writer!

    There’s a tradition among the clans where all the clans gather and have a Starlight Festival where they compete in hunting and tracking competitions and do battles in teams for fun. One cat named Silverstrike, the brother/good friend/mate of the one of the mains, is killed when the tracking goes into a dangerous part of the territory and is attacked by a fox. The mate/sibling/good friend, so distraught, goes to the Spiritpool (maybe a version of the Moonpool, but we can call it whatever, or something) and tries to speak with StarClan. The other mains, sent from different clans in a joint search party with a deputy as leader to find the cat, are attacked by the same fox on the way. The deputy and not-mains hold the fox off while the others (mains) go and find the cat. They find them, dreaming, at the (Spiritpool?) and one of them (the most spiritual one) convinces the others to not wake them up and instead join the dream and confront them there. The others think this cat is crazy, but they end up doing it anyway because the cat won’t wake up. They journey into the cat’s dream (the cat is very shocked at how they’re there) and they try and find StarClan, but they’re missing. Where could they have gone??

    What do you think? I can give more ideas if needed, or continue on this one.

  • Here are my ideas for the clans:

    HibiscusClan- The more peaceful, calm clan that don’t really want fights but are excellent ambush predators and are adept in navigating the wilder parts of the rainforest. Warriors from this clan are said to be able to survive alone in the wildlands for moons at a time.

    OrchidClan- Skilled in healing, this clan has traditionally been the closest to their ancestors but is also renowned for their hunter-medics, specially trained elite warriors that can operate as both medicine cats and top-notch fighters.

    LianaClan- Known as the tree-climbers, LianaClan makes its home in the relatively safe and sheltered jungle canopy, and warriors from this clan receive training on how to bound from tree to tree like monkeys, before dropping down onto unsuspecting enemies.

    CacaoClan- Regarded as the knowledge-seekers, CacaoClan cats are often curious and explorative, always seeing the world around them as something to be parsed through and examined. However, that doesn’t mean they’re weak in battle- they’re also known for their keen eyes and razor-sharp claws, which they supposedly get from sharpening them on rocks.

  • Cat from OrchidClan idea

    Name: Rainpool

    Description: Slim blue-gray tabby tom with dark blue eyes and white pawpads
    Sexuality: Bisexual
    Pronouns: He/him
    Personality: Ambidextrous, thoughtful, talented with herbs, adventurous, pretty smart, lowkey
    Clan: OrchidClan
    Rank: Warrior
    Backstory: Rainkit was born to Dapplefur and Songfeather alongside his sisters, Leafkit and Poolkit. When they became apprentices, Rainpaw grew close to a tom named Breezepaw. Breezepaw and Poolpaw went on a patrol with their mentors, Hollyspeck and Saffronbrush, and were killed in a fox attack. Only Saffronbrush survived, killing the second fox (Hollyspeck and Poolpaw took down the first) and retired to the elders’ den because she was older and had had her left eye clawed out because of the incident. Rainpaw and Leafpaw went into a depressed state because of the losses (the three littermates had been very close) and so did Breezepaw’s brother, Coldpaw. Coldpaw, Rainpaw, and Leafpaw did their assessments, and completed them. However, they wanted to honor their littermates, so they each requested their own suffix. Coldpaw became Coldbreeze, for his brother, Leafpaw became Leafdusk, for Poolpaw’s love of the suffix dusk (she’d always dream of being named Pooldusk), and Rainpaw became Rainpool, to remember his sister. The three cats, Coldbreeze, Rainpool, and Leafdusk are very close friends now.

    Family: Dapplefur (mother, elder), Songfeather (father, elder), Poolpaw (sister, deceased), Leafdusk (sister, warrior)

    We don’t have to use him, it’s optional, but just in case. I can make more if needed, I love making them. If we put out a form for people to make characters, I’ll probably submit some, to be honest.

      I like that idea! I think it’ll be best to have multiple ideas for a mc for each Clan before we decide, but this is a good first idea.

    Name: Ravenwind
    Gender: Tom
    Description: Black and gray tom with a white underbelly and playful blue eyes
    Personality: Intelligent, kind, playful, courageous, adventurous, and outgoing
    Clan: Orchidclan
    Rank: Warrior
    Role: Main character
    Backstory: When Ravenwind was a kit, he was abandoned by his rogue parents with his littermates in the middle of leafbare. Pouncestrike was out hunting alone when he found Ravenwind mewing in the snow. His littermates were almost completely buried and unconscious. Pouncestrike quickly took them back to camp, where Leafbreeze, the medicine cat, treated them. One of Ravenwind’s littermates, who wasn’t named, died. A queen from Orchidclan agreed to adopt Ravenwind and his survivng littermate after she had lost two of her kits. She named them both, Ravenwind as Ravenkit, and his littermate, a brown she-cat, Windkit. 10 moons later, they were ready to become warriors. The littermates were taking their warrior assessment. In the middle of hunting, he heard a shriek of agony. Recognizing the sound of his sister, he ran over to find out what was going on. When he arrived, he saw a large badger standing over the bodies of Windpaw and her mentor, Rootleaf. Overcome with grief, he stumbled back to camp. When his clan leader asked what happened, he could barely respond. When it was time for his warrior ceremony, he announced that he would postpone it. He said that he wanted time to properly mourn Windpaw, and the clan leader reluctantly agreed.

    Unnamed kit: (Deceased, sister)

    We don’t need to use him, it’s just an idea btw.
