Character idea-
Name: Leafpaw
Gender: she-cat
Description: Brown tabby with white markings and green eyes
Personality: Daring, adventurous, reckless, and
Clan: LianaClan
Rank: Apprentice
Backstory: When Leafpaw was a kit, her older brother, Slashrain, went on a mission outside of the clan territory. He told her stories of the land outside of the Clans and ever since, Leafpaw has wanted to leave and explore the clan territory
Family:
Mother-Dapplebranch (elder, pale brown dappled she-cat)
Father-Sharpriver (deceased)
Brother-Slashrain (warrior, gray dappled tom, strict and independent)
Main character or someone to fill the allegiances? I think we have the basics of our main characters, if all is agreed on (Nightberry, Thunderblaze, Ashwhisper, Rainpool/Ravenwind)
Just a side character (maybe friends with one of the mains)
Okay, sounds great.
So is this the basic plot idea:
The Clans are having a competition/tradition. A warrior named Silverstrike is killed when in a dangerous part of the territory. His mate, Thunderblaze is so distraught that she goes to the Moonpool (whatever it is called) and tries to speak with StarClan. Nightberry, Sootlark, Ashwhisper, and the main from OrchidClan are sent in a joint search party with other cats to find what killed Silverstrike. They are attacked by a fox on the way. The other cats hold the fox off while the mains keep going and find Thunderblaze. They find her, dreaming, at the Moonpool and the most spiritual cat (Ashwhisper probably) convinces the others to not wake Thunderblaze up and instead join the dream and confront her there. The others think the spiritual cat is crazy, but they also journey into the dream and they try and find StarClan, but they’re missing.
Is this what we are using for the plot?

Instead of a fox, something like jaguar would make more sense but no way a cat could hold one of those. We’ll see. Maybe the moonpool could be, instead, is a cave with a little pool inside. This pool is connected to the ocean. Something will be special about it tho

Maybe something can happen with the DF afterwards? Like, they’re taking over StarClan, and when the mains enter Thunderblaze’s dream, they find Thunder, but Thunder’s distraught because she can’t find Silver?
Maybe then they find out that the Dark Forest was planning to take over the minds of the foxes (and other predators) in the rainforest (maybe change a fox to something more rainforest-y) and destroy the clans, and they already trapped Starclan in the Dark Forest? Then the mains have to find a way to stop them, but Thunderblaze isn’t paying much attention to “saving the clans” and more to “saving Silverstrike from the DF”

And for more conflict maybe one of the mcs could know one of the DF cats!
Yes! Sootlark’s father/mother/auntie could be a DF cat, and there could be some conflict there, maybe?
I’d prefer mother or aunt bc Warriors has like no female villains. Mother might be a bit more serious though, and more edgy!!

Idea for Sootlark’s mom – (possible DF villain)
Name: Fringeclaw
Description: White she-cat with gray-blue paws, muzzle-tip, and tail-tip, ice-blue eyes, and unusually long claws
Personality: Clever, quick-witted, cunning, extremely intelligent
Backstory: Before Sootkit was born, Fringeclaw had an enemy, Rosetooth. The two of them were always neck-and-neck, fighting each other, and hated each others’ guts. One day, Rosetooth pushed Fringeclaw off of a large rock and caused her to break a bone, and did not show remorse. A moon later, as Fringeclaw was getting better, a rogue named Ranger joined the clan. He fell in love with Fringeclaw, and when she was better they’d start hanging out a lot and talking, but Fringeclaw only considered them friends until she realized he loved her. She lied and told him she loved him, and bore his singular kit, Sootkit. After Sootkit had been born, she killed Ranger and framed Rosetooth for the murder, saying Rosetooth had been so angry at Fringeclaw she’d go to that extent to take the “one thing Fringeclaw loved” away from her. Rosetooth was exiled, but Fringeclaw wasn’t done. Truthfully, she didn’t care about protecting her kit – all she wanted was for Rosetooth to pay. She was seeing how far she was falling into this deep hole of despair, but she didn’t care, and kept going. She tracked Rosetooth down and killed her, but was seen by a rogue, who secretly followed her home and revealed her evil deeds to the clans. In shock, the leader refused to believe the rogue, and sent her away. Fringeclaw, after that, was mistrusted minorly but not considered a murderer. She went to the Dark Forest when Sootlark was a new warrior, getting her throat snapped by Sootlark’s friend, Oceansong, who was very protective of Sootlark’s sanity and angry at how Fringeclaw was making him sad. Fringeclaw hates Sootlark now, and wants to make him pay – she will even threaten to hurt/kill Nightberry or any of Sootlark’s friends/love interests to do so.

Hello guys! We need to decide who is going to be our main from OrchidClan, Rainpool or Ravenwind. Now, I have a proposition before we vote.
What if they were twins? We kinda scrapped or put their backstories together and made them twins. They already are pretty similar, and it’d be a shame to get rid of them… Every time we went around the PoV switch-a-roo thing we could just swap out each one. Like, it would go maybe Nightberry ch.1 -> Ashwhisper ch.2 -> Rainpool ch.3 -> Thunderblaze ch.4 -> Nightberry ch.5 -> Ashwhisper ch.6 -> Ravenwind ch.7 -> Thunderblaze ch.8 and so on, or maybe Raven would be three and Rain would be seven.
Does that sound good, or would you guys rather vote?

Idea for Rainpool and Ravenwind’s combined backstory:
Part 1/2
Rainkit and Ravenkit were abandoned by their rogue parents in the middle of leafbare. An OrchidClan warrior named Pouncestrike found them while hunting and brought them back to the Clan. A kind queen named Dapplefur and her mate, Songfeather, raised the two littermates alongside their kits, Windkit and Poolkit. When they all became apprentices, Rainpaw and Ravenpaw became distant from one another. Rainpaw became very good friends with a tom named Breezepaw, while Ravenpaw stayed close to his foster littermates. One day, Breezepaw and Poolpaw went on patrol with their mentors, Hollyspeck and Saffronbrush, and were killed in a fox attack.
Backstory Part 2/2:
Only Saffronbrush survived but retired to the elders den afterward. Rainpaw, Ravenpaw and Leafpaw went into a depressed state because of the losses and so did Breezepaw’s brother, Coldpaw. When Coldpaw, Rainpaw, Ravenpaw, and Windpaw had their assessments, Ravenpaw witnessed a badger kill Windpaw and her mentor, Rootleaf. After the fact, he was overcome with grief and shock and he announced that he would postpone his warrior ceremony to properly mourn Windpaw, and requested that she would get a warrior name when he did. The clan leader reluctantly agreed. Coldpaw, and Rainpaw became warriors though and requested their own suffixes to honor their dead littermates. Coldpaw became Coldbreeze, for his brother, and Rainpaw became Rainpool, to remember his foster sister. After a few moons, Ravenpaw became a warrior, too, and requested the name Ravenwind to honor his foster sister. Windpaw received the warrior name Windlight. Now, Coldbreeze and Rainpool are very close friends while Ravenwind is very friendly with his entire Clan, but still grieving for Windlight. Ravenwind and Rainpool are still very distant from one another.

I like it, but how does Windpaw get a warrior name if she died as an apprentice? Or does she die as a warrior?
There is a tradition in the books where a cat who died bravely can be given a warrior name after they die. Bluestar uses it to name Brightheart (Lostface) because they think she died.

I think she died as an apprentice and then got a warrior name in StarClan, and Ravenwind was asking Windpaw to be honored by getting one from the clan even though she was dead (to show how brave she was).
