~ Nightseeker ~
Nightseeker heaved herself up and out of the small tunnel. From within the caverns where the Prophecy Tribe lived, she could hear cats’ voices mingling as they settled down for bed. But she herself was wide awake. Her three tails twitched in anticipation, and she curled her deadly scorpion barbs inward so they wouldn’t sting her flanks.
She padded across the crunchy, frosted grass and sat under the wide open night sky. She gazed up at the full moon, and imagined that she was soaking up its light to fuel her powers.
Suddenly, some bushes nearby rustled and jerked. Nightseeker jumped back with a frightened yowl. “Who’s there?” she said.
-Mintpool-
Mintpool had climbed out of her den hole to look at the moon for any signs. She hurried through the bushes and heard a scuffling noise. She hid in the bushes for a second then pounced out on the thing that was out there. ” YAHHHHHHH” she shrieked as she landed on the other animal. Mintpool didn’t actually know how to fight so this was new to her.
~Nightseeker~
With a startled yowl, Nightseeker threw her attacker off her back and whirled around. “Hey!” she hissed. “Just what do you think you’re doing?” Then she spotted the cat’s three tails and recognized her as one of her tribemates. “Oh, Mintpool, it’s just you. You scared me out of my fur!”
Mintpool jumped off Nightseeker with a huff. “Sorry Nightseeker! Just practicing my amazing fighting skills.” she said. “Do you maybe want to come look at this cool lake I found? It has the reflection of the moon and stars making it look really fascinating!” she said excitedly.
~Nightseeker~
Nightseeker twitched her ears in interest. “Sure! Lead the way.” As Mintpool spun around on her paws and trotted through the trees, Nightseeker bounded up to her side. “Where is it?” she asked.
(replying to Suntuft)
~Lostkit~
“I’m Lostkit, and my mommy just went out to check the winds, but she’s scary and mean and I don’t wanna stay with her,” the little kit squeaked, her wings flapping gently.
Lark stared at the kit in shock. “I’m sure your mother couldn’t be that bad.” she said. “But you could stay with me for a little while until your mom comes to look for you.” she added reassuringly.
{~}Lostkit{~}
“Yay!” she exclaimed, “Thanks!”
~.:Littleleaf:.~
Littleleaf walked through the forest while spotting a few cats flying in Sky-Tribe.
She was a little worried they would see her out of camp, so she used the earth to hide with a leafy barrier to camouflage her. Littleleaf’s paws tingled showing that her powers started to work on the barrier. She spotted a few herbs and added them to her barrier, so she looked more like a bush, and she could take them back to camp.
{~}Bearsnout{~}
Bearsnout glanced down and saw the cat, but just kept flying.
“Flashclaw, the weather doesn’t seem too bad..” she said dryly.
Vixenstorm flew through the air, twirling, flipping, and diving.
I wonder where Coconuttuft is….. she thought, diving to the ground. Ruby red leaves crunched under her claws and…… cat….?
“What the- Littleleaf, uh…..” she said blankly, getting off a the cat.
“Hey Littleleaf! What are you doing out?” She asked with a smile, “Also, have you seen Coconuttuft anywhere? I wanna go annoy ‘er.” She said with a laugh.
~Flutterpaw~
Flutterpaw flapped through the clear blue sky. Some of her young Tribemates were soaring and twirling above her with yowls of laughter, but she could only glare at them. They hadn’t invited her to join in their games – but that wasn’t new. She knew everyone scorned her because she was different – she had no power over wind or rain or anything! “Fine,” she muttered. “I don’t care anyway.”
Dovepaw~
Dovepaw soared unsteadily through the sky. She saw a group of fellow apprentices playing together. Wait… She thought she saw Flutterpaw a little way off. She flapped her wings as hard as she could and flew towards Flutterpaw. “Hey,” she meowed quietly. None of the others had asked her to play either. She knew they thought she was horrible at flying. “Wanna help me fly?” she asked Flutterpaw. Her wings were growing tired and they started shaking unsteadily. Suddenly, just as she was about to fly down, her wings couldn’t support her anymore and she plummeted down to the ground. “Help!” she meowed, only loud enough for Flutterpaw to hear.
Flashclaw huffed. “Well, It looked bad EARLIER.” he grumped. Then he noticed a couple young cats playing in the sky. They were quite far off, but he then saw a young cat falling. He looked at Bearsnout. “I’ll be right back!” he cried as he dove down as fast as he could to the falling cat. He swept down to the ground to see where the cat would land and if he could catch her in time.
~ Flutterpaw ~
Flutterpaw yelped as Dovepaw plummeted downwards. “Oh no!” she cried. She tucked in her wings and zoomed toward the falling apprentice, whose face was twisted in terror.
Out of the corner of her eye, she saw someone else was aiming for Dovepaw. Flutterpaw realized it was Flashclaw!
Then just before Dovepaw hit the ground, Flutterpaw gripped her scruff in her foreclaws. “Gotcha!” she huffed between her clenched teeth. On wobbly wings, she slowly carried the other apprentice to the ground and released Dovepaw’s fur.
“Thanks,” Dovepaw meowed shakily. She saw Flashclaw land beside Flutterpaw and meowed thanks to him too. She stood up, her legs trembling. She had almost died! And Flutterpaw and Flashclaw had saved her life! “See what I mean when I say I’m horrible at flying?” she asked, laughing nervously.
-my reply to Moontabby-
Mintpool looked over the ridge they had just approached. “It should be around here somewhere…” she said while turning around in a whole circle. Mintpool ran over to a cluster of branches that fallen in the recent storm. “Itf oveh hew!” she called, her voice muffled because she was holding onto a branch and dragging it backward as best she could.
~Nightseeker~
Nightseeker gripped the branch in her mouth as well, and she and Mintpool tossed it aside into a clump of ferns. “There,” she huffed. Then she turned to peer through the path they’d cleared aside, and her eyes grew wide with wonder. “Wow,” she breathed in awe. “This lake is beautiful….”
Flashclaw leapt into the sky beside Flutterpaw and balanced most of Dovepaw’s weight on him. He slowly glided down with Flutterpaw until they hit the ground. “Are you all right?” he asked once they had landed.
Mintpool walked proudly through the opening the two cats had made. ” The view from the lake is really cool too!” she said, nudging Nightseeker. ” Let’s go!” she exclaimed as she padded forward.
-Lark-
Lark gently picked up Lostkit by her scruff and walked towards a giant mossy tree. “Are you ready?” she asked the kit. Without waiting for an answer, she leapt forward and into the tree. With a giant whoosh, they appeared in a giant, cozy home. She set Lostkit down on the leafy floor and examined her. ” If I’m going to be taking care of you, I don’t want to call you Lostkit.” she said. ” I am not impressed and If I am to care for you, I won’t tolerate any bad names.” she said firmly. (if you dont want to change her name thats fine)
(It’s fine, she’ll be called Dropletkit/rain)
“Okay.” Lostkit squeaked, “How about Dropletkit?”
(Wait, pretend I said Rainkit)
~Nightseeker~
Nightseeker stared at the lake that stretched in front of her. Just as Mintpool had said, it reflected the moon and sky, and glittered as if stars were trapped beneath its surface. It was as still as glass, not a ripple breaking the calmness of the night.
Nightseeker began to pad forward, then stopped suddenly. Bear scent drifted up to her nose! Before she could think, a huge grizzly beast lumbered out of the bushes and reared up with a bellowing roar.
“Yah!” she shrieked in terror. “Mintpool, run!”
~Laurelleaf~
Laurelleaf walked around, looking at all the plants, boredly. She looked sharply behind her when she heard branches rustling. Quietly, she slunk around until she was behind the loud creature. Without a word, she launched herself at it, pinning it down.
{}Bella{}
Bella was walking throughout the forest, chirping bird songs randomly when she bumped into (instead name).
“Oh! I’m so so sorry!” She chirped, but realized she was talking bird, so she meowed, “I’m so sorry, I didn’t see you there!” She offered a paw, “I’m Bella!”
(Btw, she always wears a pink collar with silver rhinestones in a cute pattern, and there is a little bell)
{}Dropletpaw{}
Dropletpaw looked up, and saw her sassy sister playing with everyone else. She always got all the attention, and Dropletpaw just wanted a friend. She flew over to Flutterpaw, and noticed a cat just fell.
Was that Dovepaw? she thought, Is she okay?
She tucked her wings in to go faster, and she got to them in a matter of seconds.
“Dovepaw?” She asked, “Are you okay?”
{}Drizzlepaw{}
Drizzlepaw was having the time of her life playing in the sky with her friends. They laughed as Drizzlepaw twisted the clouds up so much that they started to cry. Then it started raining everywhere.
{}Dropletpaw{}
Her fur was soaked, and she had her sister to blame.
~Tempestclaw~
Tempestclaw stomped around with a snarl on her face. Those blasted apprentices had stuck a thorn in her bedding! The nerve! Her fur was still rumpled from lack of sleep.
Whenever her Tribemates spotted her coming just now, they abruptly stopped whatever they were doing and scrambled away. ‘And so they should,’ she thought. Her grumpy mood caused the clouds overhead to open up and spill a downpour of rain on everyone, except her.
Mintpool stared at the giant beast in terror. Without a sound, she turned and pelted after Nightseeker.
Lark nodded briskly. “Dropletkit it is then.” she said. ” We should go outside and see the weather.” she added. Lark hopped up onto the small pedestal that marked the door. She jumped through the opening just as the sky opened up into rain. ” Drat.” she grumbled as her fur got soaked.
“Here, lemme help with that.” Rainkit said quietly. She flapped her wings, and it stopped raining around her and Lark. Then she gentle touched the ground with her antlers, and a beautiful poppy grew, and Rainkit said, “Here!” She squeaked, “I made this for you!”
(Pretend I said Rainkit, not dropeltkit. I have a Dropletpaw already)
(ok)
Lark smiled at Rainkit. ” Thank you very much,” she said, ” There are many sites that I want you to see while your here.” she added. Why didn’t Rainkit’s mother want this amazing and helpful little kit? she wondered to herself silently. All of a sudden her nose started twitching. She frowned, tasting the air. The air was a whole lot windier then it had been five minutes ago. ” Probably just an apprentice that accidentally twisted the weather.” she said.
-Flashclaw-
Flashclaw flew up to a tall peak and rested inside of a small cave he found. He sat down and curled his tail around his paws with a sigh. No one would understand him. He jumped into the sky and he started flying toward the jungle that bordered the Skytribe’s land. All of a sudden a giant gust of wind blew into him and knocked him off balance. He twisted into a dive and quickly flung out his wings to see what had happened. The perfectly nice weather had turned into a hurricane! He looked around for the group of apprentices that had been playing. ” FLY!” He yelled as loud as he could over the billowing cloud that was forming. He looked around for help to get all the young flyers out of this area. ” BEARSNOUT, COME HELP ME!” he cried as he swooped toward a big ledge that was dislodged and falling down. He flung himself into it and pushed as hard as he could. Debris was flying into his eyes and dirt was swirling around him making it hard to see.
-Hazel-
She flapped gently with her wings, propelling her forward. She shaped a cloud with her paws, the small shape of a heart forming. She bit into it, bringing it towards Rainkit. “Hi, Rainkit! Do you want this?” she mewed gently. (if you check her bio shes motherly and adopts every kit :P)
{Bearsnout}
She rolled her eyes, clearing the wind from where she stood, and flew over to Flashclaw and grabbed his scruff. The wind stopped around her and Flashclaw.
{Rainkit}
“Okay!” She squealed.
