Hello, blogclan. Me and Mountainpaw had made another article! Yay! Today we are going to talk about one of the controversial figures in the Warrior universe- Millie. We like to give credits to Sweeter 10681, Briarpaw, Hopfall for helping us contribute to the making of the article. Please note that this is our opinion, we just want to reconsider it before you judge the character.
We interviewed many people about their opinions of Millie and here is what they had said:

1) Millie is too overprotective
Millie was overprotective of Briarlight after she broke her spine. A broken spine means you can’t walk, and if you can’t walk, you can’t be a proper warrior. Millie was a former kittypet, and she’d never seen something like this. She was horrified by this and tried to protect Briarlight.
2) Millie was a bad mother
How was she a bad mother?
‘She snapped at Blossomfall when she came out of the tunnels instead of worrying!’
There’s this thing I’ve heard since I was three years old: When a child is almost hit by a car, regular passersby simply worry about the kid and feel relieved, but the mother will most likely be angry and say, “Why did you-”
I’d say this is one of those cases.
Besides, Firestar had already told ThunderClan not to go into the tunnels. And when Ivypool and Blossomfall fall in, Ivypool wants to go back, but Blossomfall’s excited about this and wants to explore. Lovely.
Millie’s right about Blossomfall wandering off and wasting a whole lot of time when she wasn’t even supposed to explore the tunnels by her own free will. Briarlight would have given anything to hunt and fight for her Clan.
3)Millie stole Graystripe from poor Silverstream!(I edited this because i thought “Millie stole poor Silverstream from Graystripe was… odd)
You can’t steal someone from a person. A person has to love somebody. Is moving on so bad? Graystripe lost Silverstream when, probably, he was in his twenties. Should he spend the next sixty years of his life mourning a young love, living single? No.
Honestly, this whole “stealing” argument makes no sense. Besides, Silverstream was cool with it. At least, she didn’t stalk Graystripe’s dreams. Of course, we can’t confirm it but she seemed cool.

And techincally, it was Greystripe’s choice, not Millie’s, so Millie couldn’t have possibly stolen Greystripe from Silverstream.
Millie was being unfair to Blossomfall. Just because one of her kits was injured doesn’t mean she has to take out all her stress on her other kit! Also, if she was worried for Blossomfall’s safety then she would have at least said “I was worried” after she was done yowling at her, but she doesn’t give any sign of being worried. And I’ve heard people say that Millie sacrificed more than Silverstream, because “she left her home.” Yeah, no. Millie wasn’t leaving anything behind! She was literally going from one place to another like people sell houses and move! Graystripe also never cared as much about her and the kits he had with her as much as he did Silverstream, Stormfur, and Feathertail. When Millie is snapping at Blossomfall; it’s mentioned that Graystripe is there but he never says anything.

Yes, I do think that Greystripe loved Silverstream a bit more, and favored Feathertail and Stormfur over Blossomfall, Bumblestripe and Briarlight. Though it is clear in Greystripe’s vow that he loved and felt more at home in the forest territories, and the old ThunderClan, so his kits and romance with Silverstream must have reminded him of a better time in his life.
Let just debate about Mapleshade. Millie article will give me a lot of hate and my h key is broken. Anyway lets talk about Maplesade; victim or the villian?

i guess she was okay?? i think she deserved the dark forest but wasn’t neccessarily a villain if that makes sense? she caused i think three deaths (sorry i haven’t read mapleshade’s vengance in a while oops 😛 ) which was bad but she did have a pretty valid reason. her leader kicked her out which is technically part of the warrior cats code but she had no where to go so that was just dumb. then she begged the riverclan leader for a home but he rejected her with her kits just dead which was also dumb. ig she went through a lot of trauma very quickly which built up in her mind to make her murder three cats? so i’d say she’s the victim tbh

I mean, I love Mapleshade, she’d make it onto my top ten if it wasn’t chock-full of other cats that i like better, but I like she as a villain. If you kill three cats, who did not attack you or try to kill you first, no matter what your reason is, you’re a murderer. And, when she got to the dark forest, she was, like, happy or something to be there and she killed/cursed/did something to Crookedstar’s family, and she killed Spottedleaf.
So, yeah I think she’s a villain.

I think Mapleshade is both, but more victim than villian to me. All of her actions were reasonable! Oakstar wasn’t being fair when he threw out her and her kits. What did the kits ever do? They’re kits for StarClan’s sake! (And none of the other leaders did that to loyal warriors who mated with a cat outside their clan). So he threw out a perfectly loyal warrior and assets to the clan all because he was grieving over his grown son. So Mapleshade went to the only place she thought her kits would have a good life. And that was with her mate; Appledusk, who was in RiverClan. But actually, no! He had been cheating on her while she had been pregnant with his kits! So while she was still getting over the death of her kits, her mate practically dumped her and revealed that he had a secret mate; Reedshine. (Also, the drowning of her kits wasn’t her fault. She’s not a RiverClan cat! She couldn’t have known it was going to flood).
So now she’s alone with her grief, no where to go. Her clan and family had all abandoned her. And what do you do when your grieving? You get angry, and find someone to blame. So she blamed Frecklewish, who saw the kits in the river but didn’t try to help them. And then along with her going crazy with grief and thinking that her kits wanted her to avenge them; she does just that. So it was because of all these things that Mapleshade loses her grasp on reality, but she wasn’t evil from the start. She never dreamt of power like Tigerstar 1 or Brokenstar. But she’s also the villian because she killed cats in cold blood and was happy to go to the dark forest.

She was, obviously I think, both victim and villain.
Mapleshade was a victim at first, with her being banished from ThunderClan with her kits, her kits dying, etc.
But she chose to handle the situation in the worst manner possible.
She decided to kill three who were mostly involved with it; Ravenwing, Frecklewish, and Reedshine. Reedshine because she possibly didn’t fully let go of Appledusk and still thought of him as “hers”.
She leaves ThunderClan vulnerable, killing their young and only medicine cat, and she drives her former Clanmate, whom she had manipulated, to Snakerocks to let the adders kill her painfully.
Mapleshade, who knows firsthand that losing kits is heartbreaking, decides to kill Reedshine, a pregnant queen. Appledusk sacrifices himself for his future to-be family, and his apprentice, Perchpaw, kills Mapleshade in revenge.
Mapleshade manipulated Crookedstar just because his great grandfather was Appledusk. She manipulated him to think his family members suffering and dying was all his fault, all because of the promise he made.
She suggests killing kits first to make the queens lose the will to fight. This shows she’s now a full villain.
+I wish you did make a Millie article later, but it’s your call obviously

Idk if this makes sense but I think she was both a victim AND a villan. She was kicked out of her clan cuz she made a mistake. EVEN LEAFPOOL DIDN”T GET THAT PUNISHMENT!!! And she had to watch her kits drown, her mate leave her for someone else, have kits with them…. but she also murdered someone, so I say shes BOTH
this might not be related but if Mapleshade and Leafpool did the same thing then they should have gotten the same punishment so it isn’t fair for Mapleshade
MapleShade is the villian she killed cats who were doing there jobs and FreckleWish was probably to shocked to do anything AppleDUsk may have been a cheater but he didnt deserve a death like that and not able to watch his kits grow up! HE suffered much becuase of that EVIL cat MapleSHade!(I love mapleshade she is my favorite cat)

The evidence in Mapleshade’s Vengeance will show that Mapleshade was exiled from the clan for breaking the code. The next moon it was reported she killed three innocent cats for revenge. The pawprint of Mapleshade is marked in Frecklewish’s corpse. The evidence I will present will prove you that the defendant is guilty of three charges; murdering two cats, indirectly causing one cat’s death, and cursing her former mate’s family.
Defendant: Your honor and the members of the jury: under the warrior code the defendant is innocent until proven guilty. During this trial, you will hear no real evidence against my client. You will come to know the truth: she was suffering from mental illness by the experience of her kit’s dying under the Dark Forest’s influence. After being exiled from Thunderclan, she was trying to seek help when a flood came by and killed her three kits and almost killed her. When she went to Riverclan, her former mate rejected her for another cat which started her downfall. Therefore, the defendant is innocent.

Hey Mountainpaw! I am sorry that we are keep on changing the topic but we have to first debate baout whether or not Ashfur should go to Starclan. After, we debate that topic we can debate Mapleshade because it is kind of linked you know. I think she should go to starclan.
First, I don’t understand the point about Mapleshade killing her kits. I mean, the reason for Mapleshade being driven crazy was because of avenging kits’ death. If she killed her kits, she would have killed herself first to redeem her crime of killing the kits. Mapleshade haters argue that she has accidentally killed her kits in the flood by crossing the stepping stones than the bridge. They say that the bridge was safer than crossing the river when it was flooding and Mapleshade did not think it otherwise. Also, they make a huge deal of hate because of one scene; Petalkit, one of her kits, whining that river is flooding. Mapleshade was being irresponsible of her kits by not listening to her kits and was stupid enough to ignore it, the haters say. I am personally not a defender, but I don’t get this point. Furthermore, they claim that even though Appledusk gave a warning, she ignored and forced her kits to cross the river. I must say that Mapleshade was not a Riverclan cat, and she doesn’t know the flood or anything. Apparently, Appledusk gave her a warning, but she didn’t know if the flood was happening soon or later. Y

I had an idea for an article, if you’d like to do it!
So how about we discuss cats with multiple mates? For example, Crowfeather, Grey Wing, Palebird, Greystripe, etc. We could each share our opinion on which pairing we prefer (Like you prefer Leaf x Crow over Feather x Crow) or if we agree on a ship than we can just write the points of why we love it.
Let me know what you think! 🙂

Maybe we should share opinion about each main character in the entire series.
That’s a good idea too, but things would get a bit confusing after the first arc. In the first arc, the main character is obviously Firestar, but in the rest we have a bunch of different main characters.
Or maybe we could just make all of these articles, and put them in a specific order.
(Example, 1. Dove vs Ivy, 2. Cats with multiple mates, 3. Mapleshade, etc. etc.)

Lets write a article about identifying main characters’ mbti and hogwart house.
I might be slow because I am starting school, and you can write the list of cats and your opinions on what they might be.
It’s a creative idea, but I’ve already written an article about Warriors in Hogwarts Houses, and this one is pretty similar to that.
Maybe we could give characters mbtis instead? Or do one of the ideas above? Or try something new….have you read Percy Jackson or Wings of Fire? I have a lot of ideas with those 😛

Anyway, can we please list Jayfeather as a istp? He is not close to being INTJ (I am a INTJ myself) and why does people think he is.
Also Hollyleaf is ESTJ. Defiantly. She doesn’t blame herself for her mistakes as she is just following the “warrior code”.

I think Leafpool might be more of an ESFJ? I’m not 100% sure we can keep it with yours 😀
She’s pretty extroverted in my opinion; she has a lot of friends and easily strikes conversation with her friends. She recharges by being around others, like family or other medicine cats. Also, one of the main top careers for ESFJs are family doctors.
I think Feathertail is more of a ENFJ. When she isolated herself from other cats, she was absolutely miserable but when she was around others like Sasha, she was really really happy, so I think she’s an extrovert. She’s sensitive, empathetic, and smart, like ENFJs. They use their knowlegde to observe others and encourage them to bring out the best in themselves, like Feathertail did with Crowpaw. They also make good counselors, which is Feathertail. Maybe?

Sure, we can list Jayfeather as istp! I think people list him as that because he’s very judging of other cats.

Just because a cat has many friends doesn’t mean they are an extrovert. Really it depends with the matter of energy you get from having friends. But Leafpool strike me as an introvert because she mostly hides her feelings to her friends even her sister. I think she is more of a N than S because she goes by teaching more than her extinct. (She is a medicine cat) F or T…..I get confused with this part.
Jayfeather is a grumpy istp. ISTPs are energetic and optimistic, but I have searched that some (minority) are grumpy and very sarcastic. I have a friend that has the exact personality as Jayfeather and is ISTP.
