True Ivypool was a spy in the DF but she wasn’t actually useful until The Forgotten Warrior, she avoided telling Lionblaze, Jayfeather, and Dovewing any information about the DF. And think about Dovewing moving to ShadowClan this way. She loved someone, she didn’t want to leave though. She was being emotionally abused by Bumblestripe. Her sister hated her because she loved someone in a different clan. She didn’t want to leave. She even told Tigerheart that she had to stay loyal to ThunderClan. She only left when she was about to have kits, and that was because she thought that her kits might die. And they could have. There was a flood in the ThunderClan nursery. There was a good chance that Dovewings kits could have died. And that meant no Shadowsight. Which meant no TBC. Back to Dovewing now. She only went to ShadowClan because she didn’t want a Crowfeather and Leafpool situation, and she knew that Tigerheart had to become the leader of ShadowClanfor the good of ALL the clans, not just hers. If you ask me that is real bravery and selflessness. Not just caring about yourself and your own clan but caring about everybody and all the clans. Also, Ivypool wasn’t always loyal to ThunderClan. She was loyal to the DF until book 5 of OotS Honestly (No offense Erin Hunter team) if Erin Hunter wanted a spy in the DF, they could have done Tigerheart. He was one too. A better one probably.
