‘SHATTERED SOULS; BOOK 5, GORGE OF STARS’

Let your pain be, the stars won’t shine tonight
Leave your problems alone, you need to prepare to fight
There will be blood, violence many cats will die
But you have to fight and at the end you can cry
Shed some tears confess your fears while you can
And after that you must go to the war, now scram

Turtleshell wondered if she should tell Firepaw her story. “Before I joined DawnClan, I trained to be a warrior. My mentor was Brindlestripe, she taught me the skills I used to chase away the fox. But sometimes later, she was killed by dogs. Then, my mentor was Scarstrike” she mewed, shivering again. “He didn’t teach me anything, he harshly put his sentences and threatened me to go on patrols all day and all night. Sleep never existed for me. I was afraid to make mistakes because of what he would do. Then, somehow, I became inverted colorblind. Blood looks green to me, and you seem to be blue. But I know somehow it’ll go away. I was never loved in DarkClan, accept for Brindlestripe and Dapplesky. Dapplesky brought me to a clan called ‘CloudClan’ and we both stayed there. Then I heard about DawnClan, and that’s what lead me here today” “Well well well” a voice mewed, “Long time no see Crykitty” Turtleshell’s eyes flickered with both grief and hatred. “Darkpaw”

    Cliffhanger hehe

  • Springstar looked upon her clan. Flickerflash was out gathering herbs, Stormriver had three pieces of fresh kill, and Breezewillow came back with two mice. She felt proud.
“Deerheart, Larkbreeze, Twistedvine” she called, “Go on a patrol and try to find new warriors, hunt along the way too.” Then Flickerflash came running into camp, almost tripping over his paws. “I found a StarClan communication!” he yelled triumphantly. “You’ll be able to have your nine lives now!” Springstar’s ears perked up and followed Flickerflash. After the ceremony the two came back to camp, there seemed to be a new cat. “Who’s this” asked Springstar. “That’s Leah” mewed Larkbreeze, “she used to be a kittypet but got kicked out, she has learned everything an apprentice would.”

  • (continued)
Springstar nodded. “Leah, are you ready for a warrior name” Leah nodded enthusiastically. “Then from now on, you will be known as Leafspark” Springstar felt relieved. She had six warriors, one medicine cat, one queen and two kits, and her nine lives. She felt like the day would end well.

    • Emberkit dashed out of the nursery, Blackkit on her heels, “I didn’t mean it!” She cried, “I didn’t think you would react like that!” Blackkit leaped onto Emberkit, pinning her down with teeth bared, “say your sorry!” She said. Emberkit wriggled out from her grasp, and ran over to Springstar, “Help me!” She cried, hiding behind Springstar, “she’s mad at me for telling her her apprenticeship was postponed”

    • Emberkit suddenly dashed out of the nursery, Blackkit on her heels, “It was an accident!” She cried, “I didn’t think you would react like that!” Blackkit leaped onto Emberkit, pinning her down with teeth bared, “say your sorry!” She said. Emberkit wriggled out from her grasp, and ran over to Springstar “Help me!” She cried to Springstar, ducking behind her, “she’s mad at me for telling her her apprenticeship was postponed”

      • Springstar sighed. She picked up Emberkit and gently put her on a ledge, Blackkit still jumping at her.
“Stop getting mad at the truth” she huffed. “If you wanna get damage, I’d recommend waiting until your an apprentice so you can learn how to fight.”

        • Blackkit immediately stopped trying to catch Emberkit, “when will we be apprentices?” She asked, eyes wide. Emberkit slowly climbed down the ledge, and sat down next to her sister. They both jumped when Hollyfang came out of the nursery, calling their names. “Emberkit, Blackkit” she scolded, “why are you bothering Springstar? She has enough to do without you two wasting her time” she glanced at Springstar apologetically, “come on” she said, nudging Emberkit and Blackkit to the nursery. “Bye” Emberkit said to Springstar, before dashing to catch up with Blackkit, she gently shoved her, and both kits raced into the nursery.

  • Shadowkit was in the nursery, playing around with the stone he carried, nobody really knew why he carried it, and he’s going to keep it that way

    • Emberkit and Blackkit ran into the nursery, playing. Blackkit stopped, and walked toward Shadowkit, “do you want to play with us?” She asked him. Emberkit slowly stalked Blackkit, making sure she couldn’t see her. She pounced, and accidentally shoved Blackkit into Shadowkit. “Emberkit!” Hollyfang cried, she quickly grabbed her by her scruff, and dropped her into the nest, “now you stay there until you learn some manners” she scolded, she turned to Blackkit, and picked her up off of Shadowkit, before gently setting her down, “are you both ok?” She asked, sniffing them, “I’m fine” Blackkit said, embarresment making her fur prickle, “what’s that?” She asked Shadowkit, sniffing his stone

      • ~Shadowkit~
“A stone my brothers found me! I really like it!” He nudged it slightly towards Blackkit, but close enough to where if he needed to grab it he could

        • Blackkit carefully ran her paw against the smooth surface, “it’s very pretty” she said, “here” she nudged it back to him. “Can Emberkit come out of the nest now?” She asked Hollyfang, making her eyes wide, “sure” Hollyfang said, “but I’ll be watching both of you” she warned Emberkit. Emberkit quickly dashed out of the nest, and headed over to Shadowkit, “do you want play with us?” Blackkit asked

  • Shadowkit scooter back deeper into the small hole, trying not to let out a small meow of laughter, he couldn’t get caught

      • Shadowkit jumped from his hiding spot and stumbled when he landed, after steadying himself he held his head and tail high “You couldn’t find me! I win!” The stone stayed in his hiding spot

  • Crystalcloud padded out of the warriors den, toward the medicine den. Her paws carried her quickly and she was soon pushing her way inside. She felt weird and wasn’t sure what was going to happen.

    • Flickerflash turned around. “Ah, Crystalcloud, do you need anything?” he asked. He turned to his herbs. “Hrmmmm….” he muttered, “low on blackberry leaves, well, I can go ask Frecklefawn to get more, it is newleaf” Flickerflash shook his head and turned back to Crystalcloud. “So, what did you need?”
(btw you can just add stormclaw in)

      • ~Stormclaw~
Stormclaw padded in after Crystalcloud. He looked worried as he shot a glance at Crystalcloud.

        ~Crystalcloud~
“I feel weird,” she meowed to Flickerflash. She couldn’t exokain how she felt, she just felt … weird. Suddenly her legs crumpled beneath her and she dropped to her knees. She began to pant. Crystalcloud saw Stormclaw whispering to Flickerflash. What was going on?

        • “It’s called kits, mouse-brain!” Frecklefawn yelled from a distance. Flickerflash rolled his eyes and quickly walked up to Crystalcloud “Now come here and help me, YOU mouse-brain!” Flickerflash cleared his throat and turned to Stormclaw, “pardon my sister, she can get annoying”

*now idk how the kitting process goes so lets skip that lmao*

(im sorry i’ve been so inactive! my mom banned blogclan from my Ipad but once im able to bring my school cmp home i’ll be active again!!)

          • I’ve been VERY inactive lately so it’s fine 🙂

Crystalcloud lay down. She knew she had been expecting kits, but she didn’t expect them to come so soon.

When the kitting process was over…

Crystalcloud stood up shakily looking down at her newborns. There were four kits (I think. Would you please give me a description of Goosekit, Silentkit, and Featherkit?) One was a beautiful dappled gray she-cat. The others (IDK). “Can I move them to the nursery?” she asked Flickerflash.

  • Geckoswirl-
Geckoswirl sighed and carried the scraps of his prey over to the edge of camp, tossing them into the treeline. It was new-leaf,which meant there was less to do-unless he wanted to go out hunting for the fourth time that day. He wondered if more nests needed to be made,or anyone wanted a sparring partner. Most of his clanmates lay in their camp’s main clearing, but there was bound to be someone that had something he could do.
