    The Prologue of Shattered Dawn is out!

    A tabby cat ran across the road as quick as she could, her heart pounding in her chest. She stared back at her companion, a snow white young cat with giant blue eyes.
    “Come on! They will catch us if you slow down.” the tabby hissed, her eyes full of fear.
    “But Mum, it’s scary!” the white cat whimpered, his tail between his legs.
    “Just come!”
    The sound of their enemies’ paws hitting the ground got louder, and the snow white kitten put one paw onto the road, but quickly pulled it back as soon as a bright red car came past.
    “My ki-” the mother cat was interrupted by excited cries of delight of one of their enemies, who had picked up their scent, and the start of a snout came out from a nearby bush.
    The scared kitten took one look at the snout, and one at the road, and ran straight into the jaws of their fearsome predators..

    Chapter 1 is out! Before I start the chapter, I’d like to thank Dusklight for being my first reader, and Marblerose, Rowanpaw and Cloudpaw for submitting their characters for it.

    “Willow! Willow, wake up.”
    Willow opened her weary eyes and sleepily yawned. A grey cat with light blue eyes stood over her; her sister Misty. Willow suddenly realised what day it was, it was her naming ceremony today!
    She rudely pushed aside, and she leaped out of her and her families’ den.
    “Willow! You know that mother doesn’t like it when you do that,” Misty rolled her eyes.
    “Shush, you will bring attention to us!” Willow blushed, as everyone but her and Misty had sat down already.
    That silenced Misty, and they both quickly sat down. Willow sat down next to the brothers, Oak and Twig.
    “What took you so long? Are you okay?” Twig worried.
    “She’s fine,” Oak sighed. “Anyways, what do you guys want your new names to be?”
    “I don’t know..” Willow admitted.
    “Me neither.” Oak agreed.
    “Well, I’d like my name to be-” Oak was interrupted by Twilight, the tabby cat who was queen of the Leaf Kingdom, their kingdom.

    “Welcome one and all, to the Naming Ceremony! Today, five young trainees will become adult cats and gain their new names. Misty, Willow, Oak, Twig and Honey, step forward.”
    Twig, Willow and Misty stepped forward nervously, while Oak proudly puffed up his chest fur and finally Honey, Twig and Oak’s younger sister bounced up go the queen.
    “Honey and Misty will both be a healer. Willow, you will be a warrior and so will Oak and his little brother Twig,” Twilight continued.
    “No!” a little voice shouted from somewhere in the crowd.
