    We are in need of an active deputy, who will organize the Allegiances weekly!

      I’m no expert on fish, but just a comment I think you should know 😛 : I had 4 comet goldfish, but then one of them ate all the food and didn’t let the others eat much. That same goldfish fought often with one of the others, and in the end, three of them died except for the tough guy 😛 Then, we got the type of fish that stuck to the glass, but guess what? The same tough guy ate his food. The sticky fish died in the end 🙁 We came to the conclusion that we shouldn’t get another fish with Toughy unless we know he doesn’t like that fish’s food or something :0

    Lilacpaws Guide on Betta Fish Sororities!

    Hi! It’s your local betta fish lover Lilacpaw, and I’m gonna teach you guys how to make a successful betta fish sorority! My dad has a lot of bettas so I know a few tricks. A lot of people say betta sorority tanks don’t work, but if you do it the right way, it can turn out amazing! The trick is to not get a big tank and get a LOT of female bettas. Maybe even a few short-tailed males! Now you might be thinking, “But Lilacpaw, won’t they make baby bettas?” Well, most tanks don’t have the right kind of environment for babies to hatch, so you probably don’t have to worry about that. Make sure not to put any big-finned males in there or the short-tailed males will think the long-tailed male is trying to fight or something. Try to put a lot of plants and hiding places so the fish have somewhere to hide if they need it. As I said, the more betta fish the better. Try to put a lot in at the same time, and not one at a time because all of the original fish might gang up on the new one and commit cannibalism. Those are my tips! If you have any questions please ask and I’ll try to answer!

  • Since we don’t have a med cat doing facts or questions yet or anything yet I’ma just do a little fun fact for you guys lol

    Bettas can breath normal air! Most fish have to get oxygen from the water, but bettas can just inhale air from out of the water if they need to!
