heya! this is the prolouge of “the rouges” chapter one will also be posted today!
           Prolouge
Vipersong,was sitting next to her sister,darksky. “What are you doing!? You look so sus!” mewed vipersong softly. “Well im always sus! Im staring into jaystar’s soul!” hissed darksky. Vipersong rolled her eyes and just stayed quiet. “WATERCLAN GATHER!” yowled jaystar and everyone gathered around the ginormous clam rock. “Two cats here appear to be sus!” she snapped, she stared at vipersong and darksky and so did everyone else. Vipersong knew immediately she meant her and her sister. “Yea! One of them stares into other cat’s soul’s!”hissed the medicine cat ivystream. “Exactly! That’s why we must exile them! Vipersong and darksky get lost!” snapped jaystar. “Stupid foxheart’s!” vipersong hissed under her breath. Her green and blue eyes flashed with anger at the leader “how dare the clan leader do this!” she thought. Her black and white fur bristled in the wind,her eyes narrowed but said nothing. Angry calls of her “clam mates” rang across the air and she still said nothing. “All im doing is staring into soul’s! How is that wrong!?” hissed darksky.”it could kill us!”snapped jaystar. “Clearly these cats have no idea how wrong they would be exiling us” vipersong thought. “If there leaving im leaving!” surprisingly it was her apprentice, frostpaw. “Be my guest” snarled jaystar. “Leave with the mousebrains that can kill us!” 

“They wont kill us! Your the mousebrain” hissed frostpaw. Viersong kept hearing her clam mates voices, they were saying: “Get out of here killers!” “get lost!” “you mousebrains!” “stop staring into my soul!” “you are sus!” “stop being sus!” “you could kill me!” “leave!” “traitors!”  and than one got louder than the others. “LEAVE WATERCLAN NOW!” snarled jaystar. Vipersong narrowed her eyes and her fur bristled “come on guys” she said angrily. The three former waterlcan cats walked away, vipersong looked back than stopped. “What’s the hold up?” asked darksky. “We fight them, me and frostpaw attack and darksky, you stare into there soul’s” she whispered and the others nodded. Just when they weren’t  in sight, vipersong dashed quickly and pinned down a silver tom. Frostpaw had started tackling another apprentice while darksky stared into the leader’s soul. “Now you’ll get scar’s you’ll never forget!” vipersong thought and quickly swiped a paw at the tom’s ear. The tom than slipped under her and scratched her underbelly than pinned her down. “Say goodbye… mousebrain” he hissed. “No not now!” vipersong thought desperately. She than couldn’t breathe. Suddenly her rouge and loner friends dashed into battle! Her friend cinder, the former waterclan leader swiped her claws at the tom and than pinned him down. “Thanks!” she called than quickly ran to fight a tortoiseshell she-cat. It was the deputy, sweetfeather!

She than pinned sweetfeather slashing at her ear and than one of her eyes. Sweetfeather pushed her off by kicking her underbelly. Vipersong than got up quickly and tried to dodge, she was too slow! Sweetfeather slashed her claws at her shoulder making her fall. Sweetfeather pinned her down and bit her tail, vipersong had enough strength and pushed her off with her back legs, she than slashed her other eye,than bit her tail, lastly she yeeted her far away. Meanwhile darksky was staring into a brown tabby she-cat’s soul. She than leaped at her fiercely biting her neck and slashing her hindlegs. The she-cat fell limp, she was dead.

 She than saw a golden and white tom leap and her she dodged away and stared into his soul. Soon enough he got back up and she slashed his ears, than bit his shoulders. He shrieked in pain than ran away quickly. “That’s what you get!” she spat. Meanwhile over with frostpaw a siamese tom slashed her left shoulder, she got so furious she slashed his neck and he died. Than a brown tom snuck up to her. She was about to attack when she saw her friend otterpaw. “What is it otterpaw?!” she exclaimed. “Im coming with you”otterpaw replied warmly. Frostpaw smiled than flicked her tail to some other rouges and loners “go to them and tell them your coming” she mewed. Otterpaw nodded and dashed away. Meanwhile darksky fought a sleek black tom with huge ginger patches. He pinned her down so she bit his tail and slashed his soul and he fell dead. She gazed round the clearing and spotted a ginger she-cat, she slashed his muzzle and underbelly before he ran away in pain. Vipersong had been fighting a ginger and white tom side by side with her friend, flame, a very dark ginger and cream tom. Vipersong slashed her enemy’s shoulder while flame bite the tom’s neck and tail. The tom ran away quickly with his tail between his legs. Vipersong blinked gratefully at flame.

Vipersong than dashed away and slashed a paw at jaystar’s hind leg. He than bit her tail, she had pain but didn’t hesitate… she pinned him to the ground and slashed with all her might and killed the leader. The waterclan cat’s shrieked at the death of there leader and they fled away in a huge group. “You all did great” she mewed to all her friends. “We should go to the barn now” replied cinder. Darksky had just been staring into all there soul’s “ok cut it out darksky!” flame hissed “NO! And my name is dark now”she snapped. “And im viper now,so frostpaw is frost and otterpaw is otter” added vipersong. And everyone murmured in agreement “Now lets go”frost mewed. They had started to head to the barn when two tiny shapes appeared on the ground. It was newborn kits! But a kittypet. “There a kittypet leave them here!” otter hissed. “I agree leave them” flame murmured. “We are taking them!” dark mewed “but why!” otter snapped “can’t you see?” frost mewed softly. “See what?” flame asked. “That there tired,cold and hungry! We can’t just leave them here. I will take care of them” viper hissed “well whats there name?” frost asked. Viper took off the kitty pet collars and looked at the tags “this one is cloudy and that one’s lily” she said flicking her tail at them.

The others nodded and later they were at the barn.robin,bracken,and zyrah appeared upstairs. “Hey guys!” said viper. ‘Oh my gosh! Dark you scared me!” hissed zyrah “yeah” agreed robin and bracken. “Don’t worry i’ll stare into her soul for you”viper mewed and tried to stare into dark’s soul. “I don’t have a soul though”dark said. Robin looked confused but just walked back downstairs with the others.

Chapter 2
Dark sat by the lake she kept waiting for viper to arrive, most people had recovered from the fire. She couldn’t wait any longer! She was going to get a patrol to find viper.she stood up looking for the strongest warriors. She spotted flame talking with honey,otter and cherry. They looked like the strongest ones, except for otter, he looked worn out. She padded over to them with pride in her eyes and sat down next to them. “Hello!” she mewed softly. Cherry, the apprentice she-cat looked up at her “hi!” she replied”whats up?” asked honey and flame was silent as well as otter. “I want you all to come help me look for viper,not otter though,you look worn out” dark explained. Otter nodded respectfully and walked away. “So, who’s leading it?” asked flame finishing a mouse he found. Dark hesitated a moment and looked throughout the three cats. “Well… flame is always leading the hunting patrol and honey is always leading dawn territory markers….” she thought “cherry deserves a chance to lead something” she finally mewed nodding at the apprentice. “Wait really?!” the apprentice squeaked “really” dark replied and flicked her tail to the way they were going “were heading that way”. cherry nodded and started to lead the way. 

Dark was glazing around as cherry,honey and flame were heading towards the barn. Everyone skidded to a stop and dark fell “im ok…” she mumbled and jumped up to see a sleek,fluffy gray she-cat with white markings. “Who are you?!” honey snarled “tell us NOW!” added cherry getting into a fighting crouch. “Heh, you don’t know who i am do you~?” said the mysterious she-cat “for starclan’s sake of corse not!” dark hissed “oh! Swearing by starclan now are you?” said the cat. Dark’s fur bristled, this cat was annoying! Like really annoying! “Of course she is” cherry said calmly.  “Hmm interesting~” said the cat. Sark couldn’t hesitate any longer. She walked straight up to the she-cat looking up at her, she was taller than dark. “Who are you?” growled dark “who am i? More like who are you? But i will go first” the she-cat replied calmly pushing away dark. “Im willow”  “how dare she push me away!” dark thought “im cherry,that honey,thats flame and thats dark!” cherry mewed happily. “I don’t care you useless kit” willow said and cherry looked away sadly. “Hey! She’s not useless and she’s not a kit!” hissed honey “oh yes she is, i mean look at her, she’s a tiny lump” willow argued “ and guess what! She needs to die right now….” “never!” dark screeched and dug her claws deeply in the ground. “Your in OUR territory!” flame snapped “get her!” honey demanded. “You’ll have to try your hardest” willow hissed smirking. 

“NOW” flame yowled and without hesitation dark dashed at her quickly but she teleported away. Willow was behind honey. Honey whipped around and slashed a claw at her, willow still teleported away. “Impossible!” flame hissed leaping at her. “You thought” willow growled teleporting in front of cherry. “Useless kit” willow hissed. “ IM NOT USELESS!” cherry yowled and pinned her down “say goodbye!”  dark was so surprised! Would willow be dead that fast?! Willow smiled “ok! Goodbye” she mewed cheerful and vanished out of no where. “Wait what!? She was right there” cherry hissed “that little foxheart!” flame added “i had her!” cherry growled. “It’s not your fault, it’s willow’s now come on,lets go find viper” dark mewed and they nodded heading towards the barn.soon enough they were at the barn, it was completely collapsed and the fire was gone, it had burned down everything though. “No…” flame said. They lifted the plank and viper was there… “no she can’t… she can’t be dead!” dark hissed and fell to the ground.
