  • Beautiful day. Birds are singing, children are doing something. Plus it’s the Night of No Moon! When all of CoastClan gathers at the beach when the sun sets! Fun!

Too bad it’s the middle of the day right now. Oh well, you’ve got things to be doing!
(Just chill, make friends, stuff like that for now!)

  • Juniperstar stretched, relishing the sun on her back. She nodded to a few of her warriors and jumped down from the High Rock.
“Anyone up for hunting in the Tide Pools?”

    • “Sure!” Clovershine said. She loved the water and took any opportunity to go see it. wouldn’t it be great to just live on the water? Not be held down by land but just be free! In that sense, the city cats are lucky. They have these monsters they can just ride along the waves in…. Clovershine realized she was staring, and snapped back to attention, grooming herself as to not look strange.

      • Juniperstar smiled, flicking her tail as she headed out of camp. “Let’s go then.”
As they arrived at the Tidepools, Juniperstar watched the water. There! She shot her paw out, grabbing a crab.

        • Clovershine stared at the water, waiting for the perfect moment. Suddenly, she saw a fish squirming in the water. She shot her paw out, quickly killing it. what’s that? Ooh, that shell is so pretty! She sauntered towards the shiny shell, playing with it before remembering what she was doing. “Right! Hunting!” She thought out loud. whoops.. didn’t mean to say that out loud!

  • The sun has set! It’s the Night of No Moon! CoastClan’s at the beach, chilling for a little bit!
Ears prick at a rustling in the bushes. Juniperstar whipped around, hackles raised as two cats slid out of the bushes.
“Help! Please help us!” A gray she-cat cried out, a bleeding ginger tom leaning on her shoulder.

    • Rippleclaw leaped up from her spot on the sand. “What’s going on?” She yelped when she saw the wounded cat.

      • Clovershine stopped chatting when she heard Rippleclaw’s yowls. She turned and stared at the grey cat, eyes wide, mouth open like she was about to call for the medicine cat, but no sound came out of Clovershine’s mouth, she was frozen in shock.

        • The gray she-cat stumbled forward, the tom sliding off her shoulder. The medicine cat rushed over, and began checking him over. The she-cat looked at every cat, her green eyes pleading.
“My kits! They took my kits!”

            • Dawnblossom looked up from the injured cat and looked for a cat that didn’t seem to be doing anything. “Clovershine, could you fetch me some cobweb?” she called.

              • Rippleclaw rushed to the medicine den before Clovershine could respond, wanting to help. “I’ll get some,” he told Dawnblossom as he ran by. He grabbed a clump of cobweb from the medicine den, peeling it from the wall and dislodging a spider in his hurry. He returned, dropping the cobweb by the injured cats. When he got closer, he caught a scent he recognized. Ozoma. Had the city cats stolen the kits? He stepped back to let the medicine cat take over, mind reeling with shock. Why would the Ozoma steal clan kits? Sure they were ruthless and brutal, but they’d never done something like this before. Had Chatter been a part of it? Had Cove? But no, neither of their scents were mingled with the wounded cats’ and the unnamed soldiers. Rippleclaw shook his head, trying to clear his muddled thoughts. Whatever the Ozoma were planning, it wasn’t good. He had to warn the leader! “Juniperstar,” he shouted, looking for her among the gathered cats. “Juniperstar, I think I know who is behind this.”

                • Dawnblossom thanked Rippleclaw for the cobwebs, but he didn’t seem to hear her. She turned to the wounded cat, and started patching him up. After she had stopped the bleeding, she made and applied a poultice of some herbs a speedy apprentice had fetched from the medicine den. Dawnblossom addressed the she-cat who had brought the injured tom. “He’ll be alright, but he needs to rest and make sure those wounds don’t get infected. No warrior duties for at least a quarter moon. He’s lost quite a bit of blood.”

  • Juniperstar looked away from the hysterical she-cat, Seashell, a loner that was practically part of CoastClan.
    “Who, Rippleclaw?”

  • Clovershine backed away from the injured cat, deciding she would be most useful out of the way. Ooh! A blue shell! I haven’t seen one of them for a long time! Clovershine thought. She wished she could drag it behind the big rock where she liked to collect shells, but, she knew now wasn’t the time.

    • Dawnblossom wondered why the Ozoma would steal clan kits, but she decided it would be best to get the injured camp back to camp before thinking about it too much. She saw Clovershine nearby. “Clovershine, could you and one other warrior help this cat back to camp? Please put him in a nest in the medicine den.”

  • Lonelydawn looked at his clan mates wondering what the next move would be…
Shaking his head Lonelydawn looked up at the moon that was turning his blue-gray fur a beautiful silver and payed that there wouldent be a war

  • (Sorry! And just to be clear, the cats are loners but they’re pretty much part of CoastClan!)
Juniperstar slid out her claws. “So I suppose the Night of No Moon is over.”
    —-
(Ummmm lets just say everyone went back to camp)
Juniperstar stood in the middle of camp with Seashell, comforting the frantic she-cat. “Seashell, if you wouldn’t mind, my warriors and I have some questions.” Seashell nodded slowly, her wide orange eyes looking at every cat.
    (Alright, ask away!)

    • Dawnblossom stepped forward. “Seashell, did you happen to see the cats who took your kits, or any traces of where they went?”

      • Seashell jumped, still frazzled. “Well we were in the city, and that place is so confusing I don’t know where they went. I think they were gray toms though.”

  • Lonelydawn looked around camp he found no interest in talking to Seashell but he still wanted to talk to someone….(available for interaction)

    • Dawnblossom looked around for someone that didn’t seem to be doing anything. She spotted Lonelydawn, and padded over to him.
“Hey, Lonelydawn, could you come with me to gather herbs? I’m getting really low on comfrey and burdock root.”
