Thank you so much to everyone who participated in this year’s gift exchange! As always, your creations were absolutely wonderful and you never fail to blow me away with your talent and creativity! To find your name in...
Okay, so this post is a little later than what I would’ve wanted, but I’ve had a busy week 😛 I’m also a little tired, so, only one cat pic this time 😛 You’re getting plenty from Cadvent, anyway...
The seventh edition of the Blog Monthly is here – written by Lil, fresh off the printing press Hello, everyone!! The Blog Monthly is back and better than ever! I hope you all love this edition, in my opinion it is one...
Spiritflight and Coralpaw discuss ships from the series.
Fallowpaw defends Appledusk.
With a roll of her eyes, Reyna padded up alongside Bluestar. Since this morning, she gained better control over the new cat body of hers, actually beginning to enjoy it.
Sure, the tail was annoying but she could appreciate having an extra arsenal on her feet(paws?). Anyway, she could easily recognise a leader from afar. With Octavian’s (how was he alive??) decision, there came pros but obviously Bluestar couldn’t stuff a whole lot more cats in her ‘Clan’- whatever that was.
The leader in question was a silvery blue, muscled and undoubtedly a good fighter. She flicked a look down at Reyna, who gazed calmly back. Apparently this Bluestar could sense power, for she slowed her pace to match Reyna’s.
(omg your writing of Reyna is absolutely perfect-)
Octavian scowled, his new cat-like body bristling up in anger. That Blue-what’s-it was treating Reyna as though SHE were the one in charge!! Not true!! He was just as qualified to be in charge as she was!! Probably more so!!
Stumbling forwards, slightly, he followed Reyna and the silvery cat deeper into the forest (or tried to, at least, how was Reyna walking around so casually?? moving in a cat-ified body was HARD). These cats were obviously the greater power her; better to be on their good side.
Shooting a quick glare at the remaining cats, he scrambled to keep up with this “Bluestar” figure. There was no going back now.
Hey Lilys! Just to let you know if you need help with your wiki page you can ask me 🙂
Ty, Rosie!!!!!!!!! 😀
*continuing the roleplay on this page*
This page is going to be for my Percy Jackson roleplay!!!!!!!!!!! Basically, all of the Percy Jackson characters magically fall out of the sky as cats around the time of Into the Wild! For plot purposes, Firestar doesn’t exist. All the other characters do, and the main storyline is (sort of?) the same.
You can be any character from Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, Trials of Apollo, Magnus Chase, or the Kane Chronicles! Right now, only roleplay as one character, so everybody has a fair chance. Once we’ve got a few characters you can roleplay as the others until someone new joins and wants to roleplay them. 🙂

* Continuing the role-play *
Hearing Octavians hurried scrabbling behind her, Reyna excused herself and whipped around to face him. The scrawny white tom glared at her. Reyna cursed at him in Latin- “ Tace. Aliquem usum blaterationis tuae eludere studeo!”
* starting the roleplay on this page again*
Hearing Octavians hurried scrabbling and panting behind her, Reyna turned and hissed at him. “Tace! Nusquam explicationis genus nos obtinere conor – satis durum est sine te post me blaterantem!”
Whipping her tail, she turned her thoughts back to Bluestar and the current situation.
(also scrap what I said in my previous comment- I’m weirdly attached to this roleplay and am probably gonna be active)
Octavian’s cat-form bristled with anger, or at least, that’s what he thought it did. He wasn’t quite used to his new car body. And every other pawstep randomly hurt. He seemed to be the only one suffering, so he kept quiet.
They didn’t need another reason to get rid of him.
Anyways. Back to the current situation. Reyna, getting mad at HIM?!?!?! After all he has done?!?!?! He could’ve EASILY convinced these new cars to take him and leave everyone else behind, but he DIDN’T. (On second thought, why hadn’t he just-?)
“Tu?! Solus sum qui etiam cum his agere conatus est… quidquid sunt! Tu modo ibi stetisti!”
Hissing, he continued to pad behind/beside-ish Reyna. Quietly. He has been yelled at enough for the day.
clarisse woke up to dazzlingly bright light shining in her eyes. “turn it offffffff” she grumbled as she tried to wrap her blanket tighter around her, then realized there was no blanket. heck, she wasn’t even in her bed. instead, she lay in a patch of fern, damp with morning dew. she tried to stand up, then fell back to her paws. wait, PAWS? she whipped her head around to look at her body, which had taken the form of a white calico cat, with red and black markings along her flank. by now she wasn’t even surprised. at least the gods had the shame to make her look cool. suddenly, loud roman shouting erupted from a nearby hollow, sounding vaguely like… octavian and reyna? she quickly scrabbled towards it un-gracefully with her new cat feet and dropped down in front of them.
(his new “CAR BODY” HELP—)
Sorry for the near- duplicates, my phone has a glitch where it doesn’t show if it’s been moderated yet, so I always rewrite it . Sorry if it bothered you.
Haha dw, I get those a lot too 😛 the more comments the merrier!! 😛 😀
As the new calico cat jumped straight in front of her face, Reyna almost screamed in anger. All she wanted to do was make a good first impression without jealous augurs and violent new Greeks. Bluestar blinked a few times before Reyna quickly prattled off a few lies about how she knew these cats and had everything under control. She knew she mustn’t lose a leaders trust- her mother had taught her that much.
Pulling Octavian and Clarisse (she assumed it was Clarisse after a closer look) to one side, she hissed “What the Gods are you two trying to do here? I don’t even know these cats! And Octavian, to answer your question- I woke up a few minutes ago.”
Octavian scowled. Another Greek. Great.
As for Reyna…
“Me?” Octavian tried his best to sound innocent (which, to all those who knew him, was not the slightest innocent, but hey, he could try). “I was just standing here. And walking. Which, as far as I remember, was against no laws. Unless of course you change the laws, but then again, under what authority could you do so?” From the looks he was getting from both the cats next to him, he should probably have shut up then, but he’d never quite known when to stop talking. “Tell me, Reyna, are you still Praetor? Or did the Legion finally gain some common sense and replace you with somebody actually worthy of the role?”
Without even waiting for a response, he padded over to where Bluestar (all these names were so RIDICULOUS-) was standing. “Apollogies on behalf of my… friends.” The word alone tasted like some foreign poison on his tongue. “They came be… a lot, for lack of any better words, but they mean no harm.”
No harm indeed, he mused bitterly, but still keeping hid attention on Blustar. These cats were naive; easy to manipulate. They couldn’t even sense that he was lying through his teeth.
A burning, white hot anger filled Reyna, as she glared at the retreating scrawny tom. The CHEEK. Hissing and scraping her claws into the earth to relieve some of her anger, she let out a frustrated breath. She was about to scream something very rude after him, but thought the better of it and decided to take a look around at all the demi-cats. There were approximately twelve cats (including herself) and due to the fact that they were all stumbling along or fumbling with their paws, she assumed that they were all roughly as new as she was. Taking a deep breath of the crisp air, she almost flinched when suddenly with an alarming loud meow, one of the other cats, announced “We’re here.”
clarisse had been standing to the side, snickering occasionally, listening the two roman’s argument. she had noticed bluestar, and saw the battle scars traced all across her lean, muscular body. now that was a cat she respected. a large group of other cats had clustered around them, and two cats stool out in particular. one large dark brown tabby tom and an even larger golden-furred tom. both of them towered over bluestar, but were respectful of her. after a while, clarisse deduced that she was the leader, and padded up beside her.
Hello 🙂

As for the wiki page, I think Silverspirit is handling it for now (the page says “do not edit yet” so…) I don’t know if Silvie has any specific outline in mind but I’m pretty new to this whole wiki stuff + plus the fact that I don’t have a fandom account, so I think I’m just gonna let Sills do her thing for now and see where to go from there 😛 I will definitely reach out if I ever need to add anything, thank you so much!!!!!! 😀
It’s my pleasure I absolutely love talking to you /gen

OKAY SO CONTINUEING HERE!!!!!
“We’re here”
Octavian scowled, surveying the clearing around them. It was rather… bland, so to speak, in comparison to the Twelfth Legion. A few rickety dens were constructed with haphazardly woven twigs, cats chittering carelessly around the clearing, soaking up the evening sunlight.
Alright, he was underplaying it a bit. It was wonderful architecture for a group of cats. Or, as wonderful as something made of twigs and leaves could be.
Blue (he wasn’t even going to bother with the full name, he couldn’t think it without visibly cringing) skidded to a stop. The rest of the cats (the new cats, the demi-cats, was it just his imagination or were there more cats trailing behind him than before?) slowly halted as well, the Roman and greeks studying the clearing (or so he thought. He used to be able to read people, but it was harder when the said “people” were cats).
Blue started speaking, jerking the augur out of his thoughts. “You lot will be staying there,” she gestured to a sandy clearing not far off from one of the bigger dens. “The apprentices will make you a makeshift den soon. Then we’ll figure out what to do with you long-term.”
The rest of the demi-cats seemed to accept this fate, padding towards the clearing they’d been shown. Reluctantly, Octavian moved to follow.
Moving with the crowd, Reyna snatched a few glances around the camp. It all looked surprisingly stable and actually, she found that she had a lot of admiration for them. After a few hours or so with paws, she respected anyone who could build anything that looked reasonably good. But to be fair, the cats milling around probably where much more used to their feline bodies. There were like thirty of them or so, all very muscular and toned, all glaring at the huge pack of demi-cats. One particular cat, a mousy brown one with a wrinkled and greying snout, caught Reyna’s eye and snarled. And still hissing, picked up her mouse and moved to the opposite side of the clearing.
(YEAH WE’RE BACK!!!!)
The cats here were… less than welcoming, to say the least. A few of them simply stared at the merry little group of demi-cats with curiosity- which wouldn’t have been a problem on it’s own, except a good lot more than a ‘few’ were downright hostile. A dark, dirt colored tabby shot him an ugly look. Octavian snarled in response. This was one of those instances where pointy teeth came in handy.
The “apprentices”, it seemed, were small cats who looked slightly older than kittens but still too young to be full grown. They scampered around, carrying twigs and leaves in their jaws, weaving it into something of semblance of a cave. A den, as Blue-he-wasn’t-saying-the-rest called it. It didn’t look quite like a comfortable place to sleep, but it was probably better than lying unprotected in the middle of some random forest.
One of the apprentices bounded over. It was the gray one that had barreled into Hazel. “We’re almost done your den,” he mewed. He spoke to the whole group collectively. “Me and Ravenpaw are going to go get some moss for your bedding.”
And then he was bounding off, a small, wiry black tom slinking behind him. Ravenpaw, probably. For a moment, Octavian just stared at them blankly. Then the words caught up to him.
Moss? They were supposed to sleep on MOSS?!
The augur’s pelt prickled with agitation ass he stole a quick look around at the surrounding demi-cats. None of them looked too pleased with their current predicament, either.
(sorry it took so long – I lost the page and then had to go hunting for it again 😛 but anyway I’m back now and so is Reyna!)
Reyna had to fight a small smile when she saw Octavian’s face. Obviously, the idea of sleeping on moss did not appeal to him.
The ‘apprentices’ scampered past her and she caught a quick look at them. The grey one was obviously very enthusiastic, bouncing around and greeting the rest of the demi-cats in a more or less respectful way. On the other hand, the thin black tom was constantly shying away from them. Reyna instinctively knew that something was up. Following his gaze, her eyes landed on a huge brown tom, whose amber eyes were pointed at Bluestar. His gaze was one she recognised- it was the way Octavian always looked (or did? She still didn’t fully understand if he had died or not) at her when she spoke her opinion at the Senate House. In other words, snakily.
But what would the small black ‘apprentice’ have to do with the big powerful tom?
Hiiii i just noticed that you finally changed you’re profile pic its never been changed since I met you 😛

yayyayyayyayyay
ahhh
The large brown tom padded forwards from where he had been glaring at them in the corner; making beeline straight for Blue-what’s-it. The wiry black ‘apprentice’ scampered to get away from his path, his eyes flashing with… was that fear? Octavian perked up. Something told him that the brown tabby was the one they should really be worried about.
“Bluestar!” The brown tom’s growl cut through his thoughts. There was a dangerous edge to his voice. “Are you seriously considering letting these rogues stay at are camp?”
Bluestar narrowed her eyes, her gaze flashing with antipathy. It was plain to see she had no fondness for this cat. “I am still your leader, Tigerclaw, and these cats are out guests. They will stay as long as I say they can.”
The tom- Tigerclaw- lashed his tail. “Leafbare is coming. We have enough mouths to feed as it is, and-”
“All the more reason to welcome in new hunters.” Bluestar interrupted, not bothering to let Tigerclaw finish. Then she lowered her voice to a whisper; Octavian had to strain to hear it, and even so, he could only make out a few words; “Spotted- vision- clans- broken-”
Tigerclaw didn’t look convinced, but he muttered his agreement. Bluestar, looking satisfied, padded towards their group of demi-cats. “We are letting you stay for now. You will be treated as members of the clan for as long as you stay here, but I have to warn you, this is not permanent. We will further question you in the morning. Until then…” she glanced towards the makeshift den, which was just about complete. I suggest you get some sleep.”
The crush of demi-cats pushed past Reyna and dispersed around the camp. Soon, the ‘apprentices’ were chatting politely with the greeks and although, they noticed that the senior cats where shooting filthy looks at them, some of her Roman cats were also joining in. With a swell in her heart, Reyna smiled at the nearest blond warrior. She knew her cats could be counted on as observant.
Glancing away, Reyna stayed where she was, gazing up as Bluestar leapt gracefully up a mound of golden-baked rocks and disappeared in the gap between them. Her mind whirring, she started sorting through the things she knew-(but what was that about Spotted?) but she caught the strong brown tom slinking away. She had to take the moment or ‘carpe diem’.
Trotting off a little way behind him, she caught her tail on someone’s paws. Who that was? Well, unfortunately it was Octavian.
With a flash of foresight and paranoia, she spun around. “I’m following the ‘Tigerclaw’ make sure the demi-cats are calm and don’t even think about trying anything with Bluestar.” She flashed her teeth at him and galloped after the retreating back of Tigerclaw.
It was hard spotting Reyna amidst the cluster of feline bodies. Octavian squinted, trying to find the sleek black cat, and succeeded. And NO, whatever you heard was WRONG, he did NOT step on Reyna’s tail on purpose.
Reyna spun around, hissing. I’m following the ‘Tigerclaw’ make sure the demi-cats are calm and don’t even think about trying anything with Bluestar.”
And then she ran off. Octavian scoffed. As though he had thinking about saying anything to Bluestar (he was, but that was irrelevant)! As for the demi-cats, though…
Octavian took a quick glance around him at his unfortunate companions, his pelt prickling in agitation. Make sure they were calm?! These cats would rather swear fealty to a frog than listen to a word that came out of his mouth! If he tried to so much as walk towards any of them, he would probably end up losing a few appendages or making a complete fool out of himself. He couldn’t quite decide which one was worse.
So, of course, Octavian did what any sane person-turned-cat would do.
He followed Reyna.
_______________________
Octavian padded through the overgrown forest at a pace that wasn’t quite running but wasn’t quite walking, either. His cat-ified body had just about the same stamina as his human body had- which was, to say, none. It also didn’t help that the brown and black pelts of the cats he was trying to follow seemed to fade into the overgrowth entirely, while his bright fur was a complete contrast to the wildlife around him. If either cat so much as looked backwards, he would be done for.
Luckily, it didn’t come to that. The big brown tabby- Tigerclaw- skid to a stop, muttering something that Octavian couldn’t hear. Suddenly, several other cats made their way out from the undergrowth. There were five… six… seven… the augur’s breath hitched in his throat. He didn’t know exactly were Reyna was, but if either of them got caught spying…. it was safe to say it wouldn’t end well.
