      She woke up in the nursery like always and stretched, her silver tail flicking. She padded out of the nursery, eyes peeled for an older cat or one of the other kits to play with.

        SootKit grabbed the ball of moss and flung it into the air. He rolled over onto his back and caught the ball with his feet. Giggling, he looked around for his new friend. He couldn’t find them, so he went back in the nursery, bored. As he was walking towards the nursery, he was staring at the ground. If only cats knew how to play these days! All of them like to ‘Sleep in’! Like, what does that even mean?? Ugh Im so over this da- ACK! He had run into Silver kit, and toppled over. “Hey!! Why were you standing there!!” He scowled at her.

          She stumbled slightly but regained her footing and shot the other kit a look, “Why weren’t you watching where you were going?” She shot back, her normally soft tone, hard.

            He unsheathed his claws and scratched her. “Back off!Your so bossy!” He scowled and ran into the nursery, bumping into her on the way.

                Cloud sighed. She had been working hard in the nursery all day. Sometimes I wished I stayed in the River. She sighed again. All of a sudden SootKit , her son, ran in. “Whats wrong?” She mewed worriedly. She ran over and licked his ruffled head fur down. HE wriggled around underneath her. “Stop. Your in such a bad mood! I heard you and SilverKit arguing, now go and apoligize!”

                “UGH! Cloud your always so unfair!!” HE ran to the medicine cat den. He asked where SilverKit was and he dragged his feet towards her. “Im sorry.” He mumbled, not really meaning it.

                  He padded over to her and sat down. “Did I scratch you too bad?” He asked, feeling slightly bad.

                • Tyrantkit walked over and plopped on the ground.
                  “Sootkit, why did you scratch her?” He wailed.

                  “Cause she was a meany mouse! She was standing in my way!!” He huffed out a sigh dramatically. He wasn’t usually mean, but he was just in such a bad mood today. “Why does it matter to you Tyrantkit?” He asked stubbornly.

        • Echokit squealed in surprise “Hey! That’s no fair!” she exclaimed, “I wasn’t ready!” she batted at him playfully

              “No. I don’t. I don’t like anything today!” He got up just to sit down again. The medicine cat had shoved him down! “Hey!’ He got back up again and escaped the claws of the Medicine cat and ran out of the camp.

                • Echokit started looking around more urgently, “Tyrantkit!” she called, glancing at the entrance to camp

                • Goldentwig poked her head from the warrior’s den sleepily. She padded over to the commotion.

                  “What’s the yelling about, Echokit?” she murmured, still rubbing at her eyes. A huge yawn cracked her jaws open as she glanced around.

                • Echokit spun around, startled “I need your help.” she said desperately “Sootkit got upset, and ran out of camp.” she said getting worked up, “Its all my fault. I asked him if he wanted to play, even though I knew he was upset. I didn’t know he’d run of” Echokit whimpered

                • The she-cat blinked in surprise, the news more than enough to wake her up.

                  “Hey, it’s not your fault.” she rested her tail over Echokit’s shoulders, trying to sooth her. “I’ll take another warrior to go find him. You stay here, alright?”

                  She waited for the kit to nod before padding off, gathering a clanmate. She padded out into the forest, sniffing around the bushes and shrubs in an attempt to find Sootkit.

                  “Sootkit!” she called.

                • Echokit snuck out of camp, following Sootkit’s scent. Finally she spotted him, “Sootkit!” she called excited

                • 🌧️🐍 𝕊𝕟𝕒𝕜𝕖; 𝕊𝕟𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥 𝕓𝕒𝕤𝕜𝕤 𝕦𝕟𝕕𝕖𝕣 𝕤𝕦𝕟 || 𝕊𝕟𝕒𝕜𝕖𝕡𝕒𝕨 🐍🌧️ says:

                  Sootkit glanced behind him, and darted away. He zigzagged to make sure he lost her. He looked around and dove into the forest deeper.

                • Echokit watched as he ran, after he disappeared from her sight, she started walking around, enjoying the sounds of the forest. ‘He’s bound to come back eventually’ she thought, ‘He’d just get mad if I chased him’

    • Back at camp…

      Petelnose woke up, and was instantly frantic Echokit was gone! She searched everywhere, hoping she would find her, when she didn’t, she started to panic, “Echokit is gone” she wailed
