A Guide to ThunderClan Medicine Cats Part 2 by Acornblaze

Acornblaze continues their series introducing the medicine cats of ThunderClan.

Hello, it’s Acornblaze here! I will be continuing my ThunderClan medicine cats in this article (If you haven’t read Part 1 go read it!😛). There will be spoilers for, well, every ThunderClan medicine cat. Also If I missed anything feel free to tell me in the comments!
Featherwhisker
I like Featherwhisker, he seems like a genuinely good cat. He is a smooth and thick-furred, pale silver-gray tom with bright amber eyes, long whiskers, and a sweeping, plumy tail. He served under Pinestar, Sunstar, and Bluestar as the medicine cat and was mentored by Goosefeather. His father is unknown, but his mother is Larksong and his siblings are Flamenose and Sunstar. (I don’t really feel like they acted like siblings in the books though…😛) He slowly took over as the lead medicine cat as Goosefeather got older, he was good friends with Bluestar, and mentored Spottedpaw (Later Spottedleaf). He later died due to greencough.
Spottedleaf
Spottedleaf was born to Adderfang and Swiftbreeze along with Redtail and Willowpelt. She was originally apprenticed to Thrushpelt, before she decided to become Featherwisker’s apprentice. After becoming a full medicine cat Spottedleaf received the famous “Fire alone can save our clan” (I still don’t get the ‘alone’ part😛). She and Firepaw had a crush on each other and then she got murdered by Clawface. (I don’t ship Spottedleaf and Firestar, but I think it was a cute crush. It just wouldn’t have lasted long-term. I see it as a kid crush. I think they both would have moved on after they got over their little crush. I do like Spottedleaf, but I don’t think she was right for Firestar. Share your opinions in the comments! Also, why did she have to be murdered for him to steal the kits though? She was the medicine cat, not a queen?😛)
Yellowfang
I. Love. Yellowfang.😛 Her humor is just so good! Yellowfang is a dark gray she-cat with orange eyes, a broad, flattened face, and long, matted fur. She was born in ShadowClan with her littermates Nutkit (Later Nutwisker) and Rowenkit (Later Rowanberry). She was apprenticed to Deerleap and soon made a warrior named Yellowfang. She had the ability to feel other cats’ pain as she was growing up (Poor, poor Yellowfang always in pain😢). She then became mates with Raggedpelt (Later Raggedstar), and became the medicine cat apprentice. She became pregnant and had kits with Raggedstar, but told no other cat they were hers. Brokenkit (Later Brokenstar) was her only surviving kit, and as much as it broke her heart she kept the fact she was his mother secret, as it was against the medicine cat code (I personally don’t agree with this role in the medicine cat code😛). She watched her kit grow up and became the mentor of Runningkit (Later Runningnose). Soon after Brokentail became deputy Raggerstar was *Cough* *Cough* Oh so sadly killed by a WindClan patrol *Cough*(Brokentail killed him to become leader). Then Brokenstar KILLS two more innocent kits and blames it on Yellowfang! (Why kill the kits😢. You just have to wait a few moons for them to become apprentices. Such a stupid mouse-brain!) Then he exiles her and she is found by Firepaw, is taken prisoner, and when Spottedleaf dies she is made the new medicine cat of ThunderClan. She then mentors Cinderpaw (Later Cinderpelt) and when Brokenstar becomes prisoner in the ThunderClan camp and tries to destroy her adapted clan she blinds him. Then he plots with Tigerclaw (Later tigerstar 1) to try to destroy the clan and she feeds him deathberries while telling him she is his mother. Yellowfang then dies from smoke inhalation after a forest fire. After she dies, Yellowfang gives Tigerstar and Firestar one of their lives. She gives many prophecies and is a StarClan mentor to Puddleshine. I liked Yellowfang a lot more when she was alive than in StarClan. She changed so much and I just want the old Yellowfang back😢.
Cinderpelt
Cinderpelt was born as Cinderkit with big hopes to be a warrior.
Cinderpelt is a small and sleek-furred, smoky dark gray she-cat with pale blue eyes, and a twisted hind leg]She had three other siblings, Brightkit (Brightheart), Thornkit (Thornclaw), and Brakenkit (Brakenfur). Her parents were Frostfur and Lionheart (I like to think Brightheart was named after Lionheart and Brakenfur was named after Frostfur😛). She and her siblings were taken by Clawface, a ShadowClan warrior, until they were rescued by a ThunderClan patrol and ShadowClan elders. She was apprenticed early by Bluestar because the clan needed more warriors. Her new name was Cinderpaw and she was apprenticed to Fireheart (Later Firestar). She was then caught in a trap set by Tigerclaw and injured, so apparently she couldn’t become a warrior (Um… didn’t Deadfoot become a warrior? He could only walk on three legs and he was a great warrior, even becoming a deputy. It is sad Cinderpelt didn’t get to have this, she could have had a mate and kits and been a warrior😢, and all because Bluestar and Fireheart wouldn’t let her). So she healed and was able to walk and even slowly run, but everyone told her she could never be a warrior, so when Yellowfang asked her to be her apprentice she accepted the offer. When Silverstream was giving birth she tried to help, but Silverstreaam still died, Cinderpaw blamed herself for this, even though it wasn’t her fault. She also inspired Littlecloud to become a medicine cat after giving him herbs while he was sick. She finally earned her full name, Cinderpelt and after Yellowfang died she mentored Leafpaw. She traveled to the lake with the rest of the clans and while Leafpool ran away with Crowfeather badgers started attacking the camp. She was killed protecting Sorreltail while she was kitting, but her spirit was sent into Cinderheart. Then her spirit separated from Cinderheart and went to StarClan, where she gave Bramblestar one of her nine lives. (I still don’t get why some cats get reincarnated and others don’t, but we will never know the ways of StarClan.😛)
