Skylanders as Warrior Cats (part 1): Spyro’s Adventure by Jackdawpaw

Yo, yo, yo! Jack is back! (That rhymes 😌) Here I’m going to give purrsonas to some Skylanders! Skylanders is a topic I know very few people here will be able to relate to, but this is fun so I’m doing it anyway 😛 First, here’s a short summary:
Skylanders is a video game that includes six games in the original series, starting with Spyro’s Adventure that was released in October 2011. It can be played on PC, console, and Nintendo, as far as I know, and the thing that makes this cool is that the characters you play as (the heroes called Skylanders), are purchased as irl figures, that you place on a portal and then they teleport into the game (I’ll never understand how that works, lol). There are hundreds of Skylanders now 😀
Anyways, let’s begin!

1. Spyro
I had to begin with Spyro, of course; he’s the most famous Skylander, and he had his own game series before being in Skylanders. I feel like the suffix ‘blaze would fit him, because 1, it suits his personality, and 2, he spits fireballs (like, literally). As for the prefix, I could say something about his element, Magic (for those who don’t know, each Skylander belongs to one of the ten elements). I’m thinking of Charmblaze, cause I don’t know, he feels like a charm kind of guy. The purr is hard, though, since he’s purple, but I’m gonna go with a very dark brown tom with white paws and purple eyes. That way we get the purple thing too.

2. Stealth Elf
Another classic! She’s an elf, and she has a super classic quote: Silent, but deadly! Ooh, how I love this girl. Her element is Life, so maybe a plant, or just Leaf’, for her prefix? And her suffix, I believe, would be ‘whisper, so we have Leafwhisper, and I’m making her a black she-cat with emerald eyes.

3. Eruptor
As you’ve probably noticed by now, I’m starting with the classic ones, so Eruptor had to be part of it. His purr would probably be a bright ginger tom with amber eyes, and his name… I want to say Lavabarf, but that’s too lazy. I’m going to use Lava’, though, because of the literal lava, and because of his anger issues. How about Lavastorm? That way we get some of his personality in it, too, and not just his appearance. Yep, I’m using Lavastorm.

4. Cynder
The classic, magnificent Cynder! She’s one of my personal favorites! She’s also from Spyro’s game series. Her purr is going to be hard, since she’s also purple, but her name shouldn’t be that difficult. So, the obvious prefix here would be Cinder, obviously, and I think I’m using that, as well. For her suffix, I’d like to add the fierceness she had that Cinder’ doesn’t really express. I’m going with Cinderstrike, since she literally spits lightnings from out of her mouth. Her purr is a dark gray tabby she-cat with reddish-amber eyes.

5. Gill Grunt
Yes, Gill Grunt. Obvious RiverClan boi, but that’s not important right now. His prefix has got to be a fish, and I think I’m going with Roach’. I don’t know that much about him, but if I remember it right, he’s an adventurous little guy *googling to confirm* okay, he’s apparently a brave, loyal, and selfless guy. I could name him Roachheart, and though that sounds terrible, I think it does fit his personality, so Roachheart it is. His purr is an, um, white tom with very pale gray splotches and pale blue eyes.

6. Trigger Happy
About one second ago, I decided to do one of each element, so I’m doing Trigger Happy next, from Technology! (Or whatever the element is called :P) He’s crazy about gold and probably is very rich, since he literally shoots coins from his guns, so I’m putting Gold’ as his prefix. For his suffix, I’ll use ‘fire, because he has guns, and because his personality is a little crazy 😛 I imagine Goldfire being a golden cat, but to fit Trigger Happy’s appearance, I’m making him a dark red-brown and cream tom with yellow eyes.

7. Terrafin
This guy is a shark, but instead of Water, his element is Earth. (YES IT MAKES SENSE OKAY?!) As he’s a professional boxer, I’m using the suffix ‘punch, and the prefix is going to be Ravage, cause he’s sort of a pirateish character. I’m making Ravagepunch’s purr a dark gray tom with pale gray underbelly and white freckles around shoulders and dark amber eyes cause, uh, it sort of looks like a shark.

8. Whirlwind
Whirlwind is a bit basic as a character, but she’s very fun to play with, and hopefully, to name! She’s the daughter of a rainbow, so her prefix will be Rainbow’. But, despite seeming a sweet little girl, she’s very fierce and kind of cool, so I’m naming her Rainbowshriek. (I swear I almost named her Rainbowdash!) Her purr would be a pale gray tabby she-cat with pale blue eyes.

That’s all for this article! I might make a part 2 some week! (I’m totally obsessed with Skylanders; I’ve played through each of the first five games more than once so I probably will do a part 2, lol). Jackdawpaw out!
