My top 10 Favorite and List Favorite Characters (Revisited) by Rosefern

Rosefern shares their revised list of favourite and least favourite characters.

Before I joined BlogClan, I was kind of naive. I liked Firestar, Graystripe, Brambleclaw, Spottedleaf, Leafpool and Squirrelflight. I thought StarClan was amazing. I disliked all the villians equally, and I didn’t have any oppinion on Millie. I also thought there were no mistakes at all in the series and that it was perfectly well written. When I read other people’s articles I was like “these people have such weird oppinions!” (no offense) and that was kind of reflected in my first few articles.
Those were naturally, my basic oppinions, favorite characters, least favorite characters, ships I liked / didn’t like, etc. Also those oppinions change a lot so that’s why you might see me chatting about these things and saying things that are different from what I say in my articles. So I’m going to be saying my top 10 favorite and least favorite characters, and explaining why.
Favorite characters
#10 Tawnypelt
Tawnypelt is the ultimate girl boss and I love her for it! She’s so sassy and isn’t afraid to speak up for what she believes in, like Squilf. Yet unlike Squilf, she’s a good mate and isn’t mean the whole time. She would’ve made such a good leader way better than stupid Tigerstar!
#9 Whitestorm
He was very supportive of Rusty / Firepaw/heart/star all the way through! He was understanding and kind even when others weren’t, he helped Fireheart when stupid Bluestar wouldn’t, and he was an amazing deputy. #Whitestorm4Leader!
#8 Mistystar
I love how chill Mistystar always is, she always has a plan and she does everything without yelling at anyone. She’s also usually the one who stays out of other clans’ stupid fights which is nice, and one of the main reasons I love RiverClan!
#7 Briarlight
She was always so resiliant! Even when she broke her legs she didn’t let that stop her and got strong anyways, she was such a good friend to like everyone and I ship Jay X Briar, it was really sad that she died. Actually on second thought I’m glad she died because I don’t want her to be immortal because too many characters are getting old these days 🙁
#6 Cloudtail
Cloudtail was so cute as an apprentice and I’m really glad he learned not to have a paw in two worlds the whole time. As a warrior he’s very snarky and funny and always makes me smile!
#5 Hollyleaf
I’m actually working on an analysis of Hollyleaf article that should come out soon. I know that she did some things wrong and was kind of selfish, I still love her because she is really relatible and also her death was really sad and I loved it
#4 Ivypool
Ivypool is super brave! She wasn’t a very nice character as an apprentice but as a warrior, she was better. She risked her life every night in the DF for her Clan. Also she’s just so great compared to her sister, dovewing, who just sits and whines and never really does anything to help. Yeah like she found out where the DF cats were but that’s it.
#3 Gray Wing
Gray Wing is amazing! He’s so brave and sweet and an amazing father, and also his death made me cry in the end of Path Of Stars and his last words to his kits were just amazing!!!!
#2 Riverstar
Riverstar is like Mistystar, he shaped the RiverClan that is my fave Clan – not Leopardstar’s RiverClan where everybody had a grudge against ThunderClan and cats hogged the lake. I love how chill and peaceful and sort of mysterious he is even after reading his POV, and I love his sort of fellowship with the river.
Now I’m sure you know who my #1 is, it hardly ever changes, but in case you don’t Im gonna build suspense by sharing some honorable mentions 🙂

Now for my least faves
#10 Bristlefrost
I used to think Bristlefrost was amazingggggg because she sacrificed herself in the DF, and because she was a POV and POVS have a habit of making us twolegs feel sorry for them. But on second thought, she’s really annoying. She comes across to me as stereotypical teenage popular girl who tries to make herself seem all perfect while she really has no trouble hurting others. For the longest time, she helped the Impostor by proposing harsh new rules and stood by while he unfairly punished and exiled innocent cats. Random sidenote: The Impostor, despite obsessing over the Warrior code, also insists on feeding himself before the rest of the Clan, which is technically breaking the code 🙂 even after she stopped working for him, she still didn’t seem to have too many emotions except when she was with Rootspring I admired her bravery in the DF but that’s like the only good thing about her.
#9 Berryheart
Berryheart is so mean! She took her campaign to bring back the old warrior code too far and tried to kill Nightheart. also she yelled at everyone for switching Clans but did so anyways.
Random sidenote: I just found too cats who, like Hollyleaf, obsess over the warrior code yet break it themselves when it benefits them. So if you hate Hollyleaf for that reason I hope you hate Berryheart and Ashfur just as much.
#8 Squirrelflight
Ugh Squirrelflight is so annoying especially in TNP, when she made a point of being mean to Brambleclaw for no reason, just because he wanted to bond with his brother, a purrfectly acceptable thing to want! And then in PoT Squilf and Bramble are all “Hey we’re mates now we have kits and everything is wonderful in the world!” there’s got to be something wrong. Also she’s just very bossy in general
#7 Brambleclaw
He’s worse then Squirrelflight. I don’t like Squilf and I don’t ship them together, but Bramble is so much worse. Thank you, Moonkitti for helping to me to see this but Bramble also held a grudge against Squilf for long time and made a show of avoiding her and/or being mean to her. Also his behavior in Squirrelflight’s Hope is inexcusable! He doesn’t like the Sisters apparently but that’s no excuse for him to rage at Squilf, he even said at one point that she wouldn’t be allowed to speak at the gathering which is basically the point of a gathering is for everyone to be able to talk freely to each other, only when Squilf is about to die the best he could say was “I should’ve listened to her”. need I say more?
#6 Lionblaze
This selfish cat never should’ve been part of the Three. He’s battle hungry and reckless and bad tempered and really bad fane, because even when Cinderheart had made it veryyy clear she didn;t want to be his mate he kept on pushing, and then started a fight with ShadowClan to make a point to her.
#5 Twigbranch
Twigbranch is very very whiny! When Violetshine had a bad foster mother and a Clan that didn’t accept her, and even when she was living with a group of power hungry rogues and she just had Needletail, she was a generally pleasant she-cat. Twigbranch had a loving foster mother and everyone in the Clan adored her. Yet she had to run after attention in the medicine den where she wasn’t supposed to be and then almost drowned because she wanted to be a show-off. after that, she was convinced that nobody in TC cared about her and whined about her mentor trying to keep her safe, and then ran back to ThunderClan with Finpaw because she thought SkyClan didn’t care about her. The latter time was after she’d risked her life and her loyalty to her own Clan to find her real father and all she could do was find all the reasons he wasn’t purrfect, which by the way, there are none. Rant over, on to the next one.
#4 Dovewing
She’s really whiny and has to get what she wants all the time . Also the whole time she has her powers all she can do is complain about them and then when they’re gone what does she do? She complains more! Pick a lane, Dovewing!
#3 Tigerstar II
Tigerstar also always has to get what he wants but even more! He doesn’t care about anything but himself as shown when he tries to romance an apprentice from another Clan, and then run away when his Clan needs him most. There are a bunch more things too but I’ll do that in a different article to keep this readable 😛 Viperfrost’s article Tigerstar II an exercise in frustration just about sums it up though, if you wanna read it 🙂
#2 Goosefeather
Goosefeather mean and insane. He got some prophecy about Tigerkit/paw/claw/star was going to be evil so decided that he was going jo tell Pinestar, which was one of the things that pushed him to leave ThunderClan, leave Leopardfoot to fend for herself during her kitting and let Nightkit and Mistkit die of sicksome because…well Idk why, the point is its bad, and although I know some people like him bc of his novella, I can;t like a cat who lets kits die. And as I said earlier, POV caracters tend to make you feel sorry for them even if they’re real fox-hearts. Just look at what he does without paying attention to what he convinces himself he means to do!
Ok before we get to my least fave character (again something that doesn’t really change) here are honorable mentions: Leopardstar, Onestar, Graystripe, Millie, Half Moon, Ashfur, Heathertail, Mothwing
#1 Rock!!!!!!!!!!!!
