Bristleflight rants about Bristlefrost by Bristleflight

Bristleflight shares their thoughts on their favourite character.

Heya I’m Bristleflight and I’m here to share my opinion on Bristefrost because people on here are obsessed with her lol.

Okay so as my name suggests I love her alot. Yes she is my favorite character not just because she double died at the end. It was the impact of the sacrifice that made her my absolute favorite but before that she was still in my top five.

Now my name is a combination of my two favorites Bristlefrost and Squirrelflight. Squirrelfrost would have been cute too but I wanted Bristlefrosts name first, I guess I could have gone with Frostflight, but idk I like the name I chose.

Okay getting off topic. Anyways I haven’t read the newest book yet but I’ve gotten spoilers. Apparently she comes back to nature and they have totally changed the lore. Idk how to feel about this. Like I want to read more about Bristlefrost but it lessens the impact of her death. I live deer Bristlefrost though, that has potential for some really pretty fan art.

Lots of people say she was a Camera? I don’t get this, she was manipulated and that impacted the story a lot? And she saved rootspring and organized a rebellion and conversed with Squirrelflight and like set in motion the plot in thunderclan, and of course every Mc is a Camera for there clan and a story device, there all camaras but she also did lots of things for the story. Alitm really let her personality shine. Also she did lose some agency in some books due to romance but being a 1 year old cat, who in human ages is in her late teens early twenties, who can blame her, that’s one of her personality traits, being an obsessive romantic, she’s over amaginitive and is set on her future. She wants a partner, is that so wrong. She didn’t lose her whole personality, people are exaggerating.

If I can just convince one person of her awesomeness then my duty as a Bristefrost fanatic is met.

Also her death was the only time I ever cried reading a warrior cat book. It’s the only time I wasn’t spoiled for a big plot. So it was even worse. Also the writing was actually super good.
