Mine
Thrushstar stepped out of his den with a dawn and a stretch. It was the same den he spent much of his life in but it felt different now that most of his former Clanmates were no longer there. Breathing a heavy sigh, he lumbered over to the meager fresh kill piles and began to eat.
(Since you only accepted those with questions, I’m assuming those who submit warriors/apps/elders/queens/etc don’t need to wait to be accepted?)
Roseclaw stretched in her nest, hearing Thrushstar was awake, she padded over to the leader. When she saw his sad eyes and the small fresh-kill pile, her tail dropped. What if there isn’t enough for the Clan? What if there sin’t enough for Willowpaw and Emberpaw?? “We need more food”, she mewed. “Can I lead a hunting patrol?”
Thrushstar looked blearily at Roseclaw.
“Go ahead,” he said. “Choose any cats to go.” He lay down, the soft sun touching his pelt, his eyes hollow.
She nodded hesitantly, worried about her leader’s well-being. “Anyone up for a patrol?” She called.
Thrushstar thought briefly about joining the hunting part; but no. His bones were to stop and he felt too weak, and not just from age. Sighing, deciding to make himself useful as there were no leader duties to attend to, he limped towards the medicine cat den to see if any of the medicine cats needed help collecting herbs.
Brightblossom walks in with Hopekit trailing at her heels. “Thrushstar, are you quite alright? Hopekit has been her having nightmares again . . .”
Thrushstar lay down, scared to admit he was having his own nightmares. Over and over, he saw Fallowstrike die, sometimes killed by a Dark Forest cat, or swallowed by an inky lake. Even though he has been seeing her recently as she was a ghost, it felt as if they were worlds apart. For once, he didn’t know what to say, and just looked at Brightblossom hopelessly and shook his head.
“Is there anything I can do? Hopekit is playing with some of the other kits, and Tigershine is looking after her . . . I’m just worried for her, after what happened to my kin” Brightblossom said, memories of her dead kin flooding back to her
Thrushstar had already started walking over to the medicine cat den.
“I don’t know. I know nothing.”
Elderpaw cast a longing glance over at the medicine den. She ached to go there – her paws itched to smell the fresh scent of the many herbs that the den held, to hear the quiet chatter of the medicine cats and their patients, to busy herself in committing all the possible cures and diseases to memory – but she held herself back. You’re not a medicine cat apprentice anymore, she told herself, it’s not up to you to advise the cats of this clan – a clan you aren’t even apart of and never were. Fey attempted to inhale a deep breath of air, though feir lungs now had no purpose, fey liked to remind feirself of what the air had tasted like, and had felt like, filling feir lungs and sustaining feir. Ugh! fey exclaimed to feirself, this tastes nothing like the earthy forest air of ThunderClan. It’s far too breezy, like breathing in nothing at all.

Slateberry-
Slateberry groaned, stretching uncomfortably. Between arthritis and their leg, their body was a mess of aches and pains in the morning. Out of the side of their eye, they saw Elderpaw, and called, “Kid, I don’t suppose you could-”
They paused, their pelt growing hot with discomfort as they realized their mistake. Elderpaw could not grab them some herbs.
“Right, you’re dead,” Slateberry revised, shaking their head. “Sometimes I forget we’re not in Thunderclan anymore.”
“It’s alright,” Elderpaw mewed sympathetically, “I forget sometimes too…” Feir voice hitched in feir throat for a second as fey spoke the last words, eyes threatening to bloom with tears at the sudden pressing thought of how unjust this all was. Shaking her head slightly, she cleared that thought away, blinking furiously to dispel any hint of tears present, and she collected herself for a moment before speaking again. “Right, what do you need?” she turned back to Slateberry, “I know I can’t actually do anything, but I can fetch someone who can, and I’ve always got ears- I can listen, too.” Feir heart ached at the words, the admittance of not being a real medicine cat, but fey knew fey had to keep feir Clanmates’ best interests at heart.
Slateberry-
Slateberry glanced sideways at her, frowning at the flicker of grief across her face. “You may not be able to touch anything, but I’d still trust you over those other medicine cats. Riverclan fish faces, the whole batch of them.”
They paused, frown deepening. Is old age turning you into a bigot? “Sorry, my joints are making me even grumpier than usual. I could use some poppy seeds.”
Elderpaw’s eyes widened at Slateberry’s words for a moment in slightly delighted shock at what they said about the other medicine cats. Then she grinned, pleased at Slateberry’s trust in her and chuckled, “it’s true, and they do all kind of smell like fish…” fey took in a breath before continuing, “I’ve never understood RiverClan’s prey myself really, fish seems too slimy and scaly for my taste, not to mention the smell of course.” Elderpaw now paused, certain there was something fey had forgotten, “Oh right! The poppy seeds, I’ll get one of the medicine cats to bring them back right away.” Fey began to walk off, and added, the words trailing over feir shoulder, “And you know, Slateberry, you might just be my favourite elder.”
Slateberry-
Slateberry smiled, pleased they had improved her mood. “Pretty sure I’m the only elder, but I’m glad to hear it anyway,” they replied.
“Still doesn’t change the fact that you’re the best elder!” Elderpaw mewed, the words trailing off slightly as fey walked off in the direction of the medicine den.
(Fey will be back soon with Pigeonpaw and poppy seeds!!)
Pigeonpaw padded up to Elderpaw, with heavy pawsteps as if something was weighing him down. He wore a haggard expression and his eyes were dull, but he smiled weakly. “Hey, Elderpaw. Uhhh… do you know any herbs that help for sleeping, maybe?”
OUT OF ROLEPLAY NOTE: I feel like they could be good friends: both of them feel out of place in the WindClan Camp, coming from ThunderClan and ShadowClan respectively?
Elderpaw paused, turning to meet the other apprentice’s gaze, “Hi Pigeonpaw!” she smiled back. She took in his words and looked him over, noticing how exhausted he seemed, “Hmm, poppy seeds might just do the trick, and in fact, I’m just on my way to fetch some for Slateberry. If you came with me, you could carry them back here and you could both have some and then I wouldn’t even need to ask one of the medicine cats…” Fey trailed off, hoping he wouldn’t notice how hopeful fey was that he might come with feir. I hate having to ask the other medicine cats for help with everything, fey sighed to feirself, makes me feel like I’m a kitten, unable to do anything on my own.
Pigeonpaw smiled, relief flooding over him. He wouldn’t have to worry about him watching over his shoulder. “Of course.”
“Awesome!” Elderpaw grinned, trying not to let her relief show, “let’s get going then!” She padded off in the direction of the medicine den, a slight spring in her step.
(Also just realised I forgot to reply to your note from last time – yeah that would be cool, I think they could be friends!! 😀 )
He followed her, occasionally glancing over his shoulder and jumping at any crackling leaves nearby.
Elderpaw bounced ahead, her eyes slightly wide with excitement. Reaching the den, fey scurried inside and leapt over to the piles of herbs and medicines carefully sorted by all the medicine cats. “Here!” fey mewed, gesturing with feir tail to some small black seeds, “if you took a pawful, or mouthful or something, we can carry them back to Slateberry and get you both sorted!”
He’d smile wider, the first time he’d smiled genuinely in a few moons. He was glad to see her happy.
“Sure.”
“Awesome!” Elderpaw grinned, noting his smile. Fey was pleased he looked happy and hoped the poppy seeds would help him sleep better. Fey paused by the seeds waiting for him to gather them, but not particularly rushed for time.
Twigkit perched on a small rock, seeing wind rustle the leaves yet not feeling it course through his fur. It was an odd experience, and he barely remembered the last time he felt that refreshing chill against his skin. Though he wasn’t very hungry, he realized he hadn’t eaten in days, so he made his way to the fresh-kill pile in a wobbly fashion.
(open for interactions <3)
“Hey Twigkit!” Hopekit said, bouncing towards him. “What are you doing? Do you wanna play?”
Twigkit gave up trying to grab a piece of prey and gave Hopekit a big grin. “OK,” he said, dropping into a playful crouch, and aiming to pounce onto the other kitten.
“Not so fast!” Hopekit squeaked, also crouching down
Twigkit leaped at Hopekit with what looked and felt like perfect aim, only to tumble and land a few pawsteps past where Hopekit was. He was confused, and felt perhaps a twinge of frustration, but shook his head and waited for Hopekit to do something,
“Ha!” Hopekit giggled, racing forward and tried to tackle Twigkit only to tumble to the right of Twigkit she tried again
Twigkit very quickly lost interest in the playfight when he noticed a grasshopper that landed on his tail. He appeared to forget that he had been fighting at all.
“Bye, Twigkit! I have to go” Hopekit said, racing towards camp
“Hello Twigkit!” Ebonykit mewed, skidding to a halt by the fresh-kill pile.
Fawndream opened one eye and glanced around the medicine den. Everything looked so weird. Different than RiverClan. But she still didn’t trust her surroundings. She was used to life as a loner but she had to admit, it was easier in a Clan. She had Skybreeze to thank for that. As she padded out the den she noticed a glimmering kit standing on a rock. It must be a figment of her imagination. The kit was hazy, a ghost-like appearance. They walked over to the fresh-kill pile. She walked over behind the kit and carefully set a paw down on it’s fluffy head.
Hee paw just passed through the kit.
Fawndream sighed. That was weird. As the kit left, she noticed the meager prey pile. She picked up a scrawny mouse and as she was about to head back to her den to share with Willowpaw she saw that Slateberry, the elder and Flameblaze, the queen hadn’t eaten. She picked up a limp bony rabbit and padded over to where the nursery/elder’s den was. She set down the rabbit and called to the elder and queen. No one answered but she saw a glimpse of pale brown fur so she knew they were there. She left and headed back to the medicine den with the mouse. As she entered the den she realized no one in the Clan had pale brown fur. So another cat, outside the Clan was in that den. Most likely a rogue. And Flameblaze was heavy with kits. She immediately ran back to the den and what she saw shook her.
(open for interactions!) 😀
She had to admit, Fallowstrike was horrified when she saw Fawndream step through Twigkit. She lumbered over to the medicine cat hesitantly, and shook her stubby tail.
“Uhm… hello? If you remember, I’m Fallowstrike, deputy of WindClan,” the she-cat said quietly.
A few heartbeats later, Fallowstrike realised there was no WindClan anymore, and Fawndream was no longer a RiverClan medicine cat. She was a StarClan cat trapped in the living world and Fawndream was the medicine cat of MoonClan, if they even classify as a Clan anymore
(Also, for future reference, since Twigkit isn’t your character, avoid playing as them ^^)
Stormberry padded over to Fallowstrike. “Hi.” Stormberry mumbled. She winced, bracing herself for the cat to yell “traitor” at her or walk away.
Darkdawn watched the whole scene. She didn’t quite approach the cats, and turned away when Twigkit walked through Fawnbreeeze.
oorp note: hey ambi, as ospster said please do not control my character (twigkit)! i’m not really bothered by it but it does go against the rules and the actions you’re making him do aren’t really what i have in mind for him 🙂 if you would like me to join this thread and portray twigkit i would gladly do so of course <3 /nm
this was meant to be directed at you and icy my bad
Sorry… if you want you can join.

(okay, sorry!)
Hopekit stumbled around in the murky depths of the swamp. The cats stared back at her. Her pelt bristled. They whispered inaudible words, almost in a different language. It did not take her long to realize that she was in her nightmares again. “HELP!” She screeched, thrashing against the water.
(Open for interaction)
“Hopekit!” Tigershine shrieked. He ran over to the she-kit as soon as he’d entered the den. Oh, no! Nightmares again! The nrusery helper thought. He licked Hopekit’s fur, trying to smooth it.
Hopekit woke up to reality, gasping. “T-tigershine?” Hopekit quavered.
“It’s me”, he whispered soothingly. “It was just a dream…”
“Okay”, Hopekit says, barely hitching through sobs of fear, “Can I have some food?
“Sure”, he purred. “Though you can’t suckle from a tom. Prey or milk?”
“Prey” Hopekit muttered “I always have prey”
“Of course.” He padded towards the fresh-kill pile and back with a mouse.
Hopekit snarfed the mouse down. “Thank you”, she said to Tigershine
Out of character update: I added allegiances to the top of the page! Hopefully they help 😀
Who is autumn frost?
Character played by Autumnblaze! I forgot to add that 😬
Pigeonpaw jumped from his nest, gasping in shock. He felt as if he had just run the moors- his heart was racing and his legs were shaking. From the corners of his eyes he saw shadowy figures and he could still feel his brother’s eyes on the back of his head.
He tried to stumble out of the den and sat in the corner of the camp, trying to calm himself down. He was still so tired from staying up so late training, and the little sleep he had gotten was plagued by nightmares…

“Willowpaw…Talk to me…”
She ignored the voice. I don’t knwo you, she told it. You’re just a strange voice.
“Willowpaw…Please…You’re my-“
She pawed the ghost before it could say the words she feared. She wasn’t its daughter – she was Roseclaw’s. And she wasn’t about to let the voice ruin her life. She noticed Pigeonpaw jumping but only later realized he’d stumbled out of the den. She followed the troubled tom.
“Are you okay?” She asked.
Pigeonpaw jumped, the fur on his back bristling and his eyes darting around wildly, his ears flattened. He only relaxed slightly when he recognised the she-cat in front of him. He sat down, but his muscles were still tense and he was avoiding eye contact.
“Oh- hey, Willowpaw.”
“Hi.” She eyed him with worry. “Where’s the fire?”
“What fire?” He’d echo her words, focusing on her with curiosity.
Stagcharge had his gaze fixed on his brother from across the clearing, and waves of guilt were sent through him. I know he hates this, but I need to warn him.
“Willowpaw?” Emberpaw cried out.
Tigershine heard his son’s voice inside the den. The ginger apprentice was trembling and his eyes were wide with fear. “Emberpaw?” He called softly.
Emberpaw was frightened by the sudden voice and turned, relaxing when he saw Tigershine.
“Are you okay?” Tigershine asked. He didn’t know why Emberpaw always awoke like the den was on fire.
“I-” “Why are you bowing to this lazy cat? No true warrior would give up his duties to live in a den of brats!” His father’s voice whispered in his ears. “-fine”, he finished. “Do you know where Willowpaw is?”
The brown tabby frowned. “No. Try Fawndream’s den.” He sighed. He was proud of Willowpaw for becoming a medicine cat apprentice, btu sometiems he wished she wasn’t so busy. When they were kits, he could watch and talk to both siblings almost every heartbeat of his life. It was hard giving that up now. And Emberpaw had grown distant of his family. “I gotta get back. I don’t want to leave Ebonykit alone.” He exited the den.

Emberpaw shivered. Here we go again. He looked around at the darkened, muddy, thorny place, even though he could see the faint starlight bathing the ground. He’d never understood this place – it was nor the Dark Forest NOR StarClan.
“Oh, this is the in-between”, a voice whispered in his ear. He backed away, fear taking voer, and stared at the ginger tom – who looked so much like him – standing in the middle of the…Starlit darkness.
“Hello, son”, Blazeheart purred silkily. A chill ran down his kit’s spine. “How’s life going?” Then his voice became quieter and icier. “Mated with that herb-breathing runt just yet?”
“She’s my sister!” He blurted out.
“She’s not your real sister”, the tom growled, stalking closer and closer to the apprentice. “Your real sister is in StarClan. If only you didn’t care so much about these cats…The cats your mother foolishly trusted…”
Roseclaw isn’t foolish!
“Don’t you think, Emberpaw…That if that runt and her lazy father had the chance…To save you or flee…Wouldn’t they flee? Don’t be naive, son…You mean nothing to them…And Roseclaw’s too foolish to care about you now…You have me…And only me…So why do you resist me?”
“G-Go away!” Emberpaw squeaked, staring at him with a look that mixed anger and fear. This isn’t true…Willowpaw and Tigershine DO care about me…I know they do…
Don’t they?
His father flashed him a last grin before he awoke in bed, shivering.
FlameBlaze looked out of the nursery, then a wave of pain hit her stomach, “the kits are coming!” she hissed, her fur bristling, “where is the Midnightsong!” she demanded at the closest cat, “tell her im having my kits!” she hissed aggressively, “and hurry!”
she forced herself to stay still, better to help with the pain, she tensed, seeing the ghostly frames of starry cats, “dont rush Flameblaze, keep still,” one of the cats murmured, “who are you?” she whispered, “i have no name,” the cat replied, “it cant be…” she mewled, “thunder and wind will clash, the single flame lights the darkness, dont lose hope, remember this Flameblaze, dont lose hope…” they said as they faded away.
(open for interaction!!!)
Brightblossom heard Flameblaze’s screeches, and she raced to Flameblazes side “Someone get a stick! Come on Flameblaze, you got this”
(why did i say “the Midnightsong”? XD)
Flamepaw rushed over to the queen. “Are you okay?” She exclaimed. “I-uh… oh! Midnightsong!! It’s Flameblaze! She’s kitting!” Her blue eyes shone with anxiety. She lowered her voice. “Wh-who was that? That ghost?” She asked Flameblaze, too nervous to wait later.
Flameblaze nodded vigorously, then a wave of calm rushed over her,
“Thunder and wind will clash, a single flame lights the darkness, moon will fade, dont lose hope…” she murmured, her pelt seemed to glow, “did they give a sign to you Brightblossom?” then reality rushed back to her, the pain was unbearable, she drooped, every part of her body seemed to raidiate with pain, “h-h-help me…” Flameblaze half wailed, half whispered, her voice cracked, “it hurts! help me…” faint with pain, her eyes flickered,
(open for interaction!!)
“GREAT STARCLAN!!” Tigershine yowled. “Someone help! Someone help!”
Flameblaze took on a pained exspression, opened her eyes, then looked at Tigershine incredulously, “Starclan Tigershine, repeating that sentence wasnt very tom-like,” she winced, then limped farther into the nursery, enveloped by shadow, “ill stay untill the medicine cat comes, i can take it,” she hissed quietly,
(still open for interaction <3)
What in StarClan does tom-like mean? “NO YOU AREN’T – YOU MIGHT DIE!!” Tigershine yelled. “MEDICINE CATS!!! MEDICINE CATS!!!”
(Very calm and levelheaded, isn’t he)
(yep XD)
“keep your head on Tigershine, i kitted before,” she mewled, her whiskers twitching, “this tom is fairly young for a warrior, like me,” she murmured, then she burst into laughter,
“being in the nursery has made you softer than a kittypet, you dont have to yell so loudly like im going to die!” she snickered, her whiskers twitching more erratically, then her snicker changed to heavy breathing, then to silent wheezing,
Fawndream rushed over as fast as she could, carrying a few raspberry leaves. “Tigershine, find a good, thick, stick that can be bitten down on. ” She started to massage the kitting queen’s belly, soothing the queen. “Have some of these” offering up the raspberry leaves.
“I’m here, I’m here!” Midnightsong mewed, rushing into the den. She blinked when she saw Flameblaze. “I…” She was lost of words. Shaking her head, she told herself to help Fawndream and Flameblaze. She was really off her game. “I…” she repeated again. “Um…Fawndream can.” She stumbled out of the den, trying to ignore the astonished stares of the cats inside and the guilt gnawing at her belly. Fawndream could handle it. And Midnightsong was EXHAUSTED. After treating many patients that morning, her paws could hardly hold her up. But she still couldn’t shake the shocked look in Fawndream and Flameblaze’s eyes.
(Osprey, can you change my allegiance thing. I said in the original post she scratched her eye, but that was how her right eye got half blinded. Sorry!) Autumnfrost woke up, feeling like today was going to be a great day. She got fully woken up by Tigershine’s screech, and she fled her nest. Even though she was RiverClan, she was getting along well in the WindClan camp.” I’ll be with Flameblaze for a bit!” She exclaimed. She ran to the nursery. “I will make sure nothing hurts you. You are a great Queen. Just remember that you’ve done this before. You will be fine.” She kept on saying soothing words to the queen while waiting for the medicine cat.
