  • Storm padded through her territory towards the clan’s territory on a mission for Hawkfrost to find out if Sunshadow was still with the clan, she personally thought he should leave or at least be exiled for a while. As she walked, Storm imagined what the battle would look like, the battle, that was when she would take revenge on the clan, soon the Dark Forest cats would rule the forest and she would be their loyal warrior.

  • Quickly, she hid the gulp with, “That’s awesome!” “Did you think of any names?” Fernpaw added slyly.

    • Swiftfoot pressed herself besides Thunderstar, not liking all the attention. “Uhm, I was thinking about Berrykit or Lightningkit, or maybe NIghtkit…?” What do you think, my love? Swiftfoot thought fiercely. Suddenly she swayed on her paws. When Ravenwing rushed up to her, the deputy flicked her away with her tail. “I-I just need to lie down.” Swiftfoot padded wearily to her mate’s den and rested her nose on her paws. Oh Thunderstar, why did I tell them? she thought desperately. I love them all, but…

  • Storm watched as Sunshadow went in to Thunderstar’s den and back out, she saw the relieved look on her face and knew that she was still a clan cat. Just then an idea popped into Storm’s head, Sunshadow would be able to tell the clan exactly what was happening in the Dark Forest. Storm could easily sneak into the camp and draw Sunshadow’s attention without the others even knowing she was there. Then she could get Sunshadow far far away from clan territory and get her lost, that way she wouldn’t be able to tell Thunderstar or any other cat about anything! All she had to do was get Hawkfrost and Mapleshade to help her a bit.

  • Even more scared, Fernpaw eyed Swiftfoot as Thunderstar swept her into the den. Her belly looked even more swollen then ever.

    • Swiftfoot leaned into him, breathing in her mate’s comforting scent. “I can’t wait to introduce them to the Clan,” she mewed as they shared tongues. “They’ll be born in a quarter moon.” Thunderstar grinned. “I-I’m quite tired,” she yawned and almost immediately fell asleep with her small body curled up in the curve of Thunderstar’s huge one.

  • Storm was padding through the Dark Forest, “Hawkfrost? Mapleshade? Where are you?” she called. Suddenly, something landed on her with a thump, “Hey! Get off of me!” Storm yowled, the weight disappeared and she saw Mapleshade standing over her. Quickly, she scrambled to her paws, “Mapleshade! I was looking for you!” she meowed. “Well I’m here now,” Mapleshade replied, “What do you want?” “Well, I was watching the clan cats, and Sunshadow is still one of them. I think if we let her stay she will tell Thunderstar everything were doing here,” Storm said, “I have a plan to keep her from saying anything, but I need you and Hawkfrost’s help.” she finished, “Will you do it?”

Sunshadow twitched her ear alertly. Ever since leaving the Dark Forest, her life has changed. She didn’t wake up with scars anymore, and she was less tired from training. Sunshadow licked her paw and groomed her fur, which has somehow gotten bushy again. 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘛𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺. She let out a faint yawn, feeling sleepiness flood through her. She had stayed awake for as long as she could. Sunshadow didn’t want to end up in the Dark Forest, but she felt her head droop. 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘣𝘦 𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘱 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘩𝘶𝘳𝘵, she told herself. Sunshadow finished her grooming and lay down in her nest, closing her eyes tightly. 𝘐 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘐 𝘥𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵… After a while, she felt darkness swamp her.
