    • URMAGURSH EVERYONE IS GOING ON VACATION FOR SUMMER IN MY CLASS! AM GOING TO HAWAII ON WEDNESDAY!!!!! AHHHHHH SOOO EXCITED!!!!😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴🌴

  • Her I am, once again, with the regular Eco talk/lecture/class thingy. Anyway, the last one was about Cecil, the one before that Carbon, and the one before that, an overview on the 6th mass extinction. Here is another great problem facing the environment today. So, I ask of you to go, pick up a JIF peanut butter container, or some ramen. Now, these two totally different products have an ingredient in commen. Palm Oil. You may ask, so what’s the big deal? It’s just an ingredient. And I say, nothing is JUST an ingredient, especially not Palm Oil. So, Palm trees, need humid air to grow in and lost of space. So what are people doing, they are cutting down rain forests and driving some animals almost to extinction to create this ingredient. Killing animals, so they can put this in food. Now you are probably thinking, oh that’s terrible! But it’s not like I can fly to a rainforest and chain myself to one of the native trees. But you can take a stand! If the consumption stops, so do the plantations. If people stop buying Palm oil, they will stop producing it. Here is a link => http://ecowatch.com/2014/05/02/why-is-palm-oil-bad/ that explains a little more about Palm oil, and how one man helped stop some of it. But it’s still happening. I gave up some of my favorite foods for Palm oil, you don’t have to go that drastically though, because, it’s in almost everything. You could maybe set inside three days every week when you go Palm oil free. Just remember Jane Goodalls quote- Every individual makes a diffrence.

    • Aww, that’s so sad. It’s really great that you’re making a difference in the world, and I’ll try to help too. I plan to watch that video later but I’m downloading something that’s taking a while to load and my computer is being really slow. 🙂

      • (Those two were just examples off the top of my head, Palm oil is in a ton of food, you would be surprised, I was)

    • *sobs hysterically for sloths* Wow you really got me there. That’s always made me sad how we cut down trees that ALREADY BELONG TO THE ANIMALS!

    • *quickly looks up Australian rodents* AWWWWWW! THEY’RE SO FUZZY! The tails kinda bother me, but they mostly look like gerbils!

    • Hello, Amber!!! My name is Laurelpaw or just Laurel if you want. Welcome to BlogClan!!! Your Gravatar image is connected through your email. Make sure that your email is correct in both your account and your comments. Give it at least an hour or two (maybe even 24), and it will show up.

      • Hi Laurel! That’s such a pretty name. :3 The email is correct, so I probably just need to give it some time. Thank you for the welcome! Everyone has been so nice so far. 😀

  • Chapter 10 is out now, here’s one of the paragraphs to wet your appetite:

There was no doubt in her mind that she was in the WindClan camp; there were dipping moorlands all around her, and the Tallrock stood in its regular fixed position. But everything else was different. The camp was deserted. There were no scents and no cats. Boulders and rocks were crushed into tiny fragments, the gorse barrier and tunnel had disappeared, and nearly impossible to see flecks of grass lay randomly across the clearing. Most notably, crushed yellow buds littered the floor, sliced into smaller pieces by cruel claws.

^Has WindClan been destroyed? You’ll have to go to the FanFic page to find out. 😛 & thanks for reading. 😀

  • After Wednesday, I won’t be on for two weeks. Going to Maui, Hawaii. If anyone’s been there before, anything I should see or do? Also, not sure if this will work since it’s Google, but click on my name!

    • OOOOOOOOOH! HAVE LOTS OF FUN!!! AHHHHHH 😀 My aunt lived in Hilo, Hawaii for awhile. Just got back to the mainland a few months ago! She brought a cat back with her, hehe. Tell us all about your trip!!! 🙂

    • I went there a couple years ago! There’s a great sugarcane museum and some awesome beaches 😉 have a great time! 😀

    • Yay! I went there and it was great! You should go along the Road to Hana (Hana Highway). You stop at some cool beaches (including one with black sand), towns, and hiking trails. Have fun!

    • Ooh lucky! 🙂 TAKE ME WITH YOU! (jk) Maui is so amazing and you’ll love it! <3
List of Places to Visitin Maui:
      1. Beaches-This is a pretty obvious one, but seriously they are breathtaking!(Some of the beaches actually have black sand. Cool right?)
      2. Bailey House Museum- You literally have to visit this museum. No kidding. It's basically a museum showcasing Hawaiian history and art and it's really fascinating.
      3. Kula Botanical Garden- I know, it's a botanical garden and it doesn't sound that exciting, but it has a lot of pretty plants to see! 🙂
      4. Haleakalā National Park- This place is awesome. It has a dormant volcano with sunrise tours(bring warm clothes because it gets cold) and mountains.
That's all I could think of off the top of my head. Have a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious trip! 😀
