I noticed something in “The Sun Trail”
In Chapter 15, when Moon Shadow went to the forest for some hunting (they still live on the moor), he was attacked by some rouges.
The attackers were Night (Black she-cat with a white paw), Petal (yellow tabby she-cat) and Leaf (black-and-white tom).
Clear Sky and Falling Feather helped chase the rouges away.
Later in the Bonus Scene of “The Sun Trail” about Petal and Fox, Petal tells this fight from her point of view.
She talks shortly about Moon Shadow (black tom), Clear Sky (gray tom) and Falling Feather (white she-cat).
Then she mentions the cats that were with her to attack the Moor-Cats.
She says with her were Leaf and NIGHTHEART.
Now we notice, in Chapter 15 its “Night” and in the Bonus Scene its “Nightheart”, who was with Petal and Leaf.
Does this mean that “Night” and “Nightheart” are the same cat and the name just got confused? I mean its nearly the same name.
I have no Idea if Kate reads that, but a tiny answer would make a curious fan very happy ^-^
Note: I wrote the fur and gender behind the cats because Petal only calls them “White cat, gray cat” and stuff and the other way around. But if you read the scenes it is clearly the same incident they describe.
I re-read the Sun Trail recently, and I didn’t pick up on this, so I’m not sure if it was a mistake or not etc. But, after reading the bonus chapters, I thought Nightheart hadn’t appeared in the main book.
Yes, my point was that in both scenes the same situation is described, but with Night/Nightheart being switched.
So I thought maybe they forgot that the cat was just called “Night” because it was unusual to them that the cats don’t have Warrior like names and they accidentally changed it to Nightheart.
I don’t remember that at all. It’s probably a mistake ^-^

Frostflower. My cat Belle is very caring and would have been an excellent mother if we had allowed her to have kittens, so she is named after Frostfur, Goldenflower, and Daisy. Those three names describe beautiful queens who care for all members of their clan. 🙂
I had another cat, Rascal, who was Belle’s brother. He was very cute and naughty but he never came home one night last September. (Off to be a warrior, I suppose. Any clan would admire an amazing hunter like him.) Rascal’s warrior name is Longwhisker.
I love Belle’s warrior name! XD It sounds Belle’s a lovely cat, and Rascal sounds lovely as well! I’m sorry that Rascal left you, it’s always hard to lose pets. 🙁
My neighbors’ outside cats’ warrior name is Tallfeather. 😛 He’s really quite the kittypet, though.

Russetfeather is what I wanted to name Red but there were two barn cats on my grandparents farm that I named Stripedfur and Tanglestorm.
Never thought of that…hmmmm…maybe, Darkpetal? Or anything to do with dark or blackness because that’s her personality at times, and her physical description.

I mean don’t get me wrong, I like Power of Three just fine, but it seems like it’s the weakest series so far. Keep in mind, I have not read the full series, but I will ask, does Power of Three ever pick up, or is it just build up for Omen of the Stars? What do you think?
Personally, I’d agree that it is more of a build up to OotS. However, Eclipse is very, very good, and it’s a highlight of the series. Best of luck reading them! 😀
Oh yeah! Eclipse and (in my opinion) Long Shadows are the best books in that series.

Yeah, I agree with Eagleclaw. Power of Three can get boring at times, but after Eclipse it gets really good.
