  • This weekend has been LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!!!
So we got a new puppy, because my sister has been begging for one, and it’s CRAZY!!! It’s a mini Australian Shepherd, and she’s super cute. Her name is Maisey. She doesn’t bark much, but jumps everywhere!!! 🐶
My cat doesn’t like her much, so she keeps to herself in my room.
    Any advice for us?😺

    • Aaaaaaaw, she sounds adorable. I love her name! Maybe, if you have kennels, put both of them in kennels and stick them side by side so they get to know each others scent? Give them some treats during this period of time. I dunno, I’m not very good at this. We had a puppy before we got our kitten, so yup. Not good at all.

    • Australian shepards are soooo hyper. They are incredibly smart so they will pick up stuff very easily. If she jumps on you just turn your back and walk away from her. If she’s jumping on counters/tables/furniture then just put her onto the ground and just continue to do that until she learns that it’s not ok to be on things. If she allowed on the couch and stuff just make sure she knows that it’s a privilege and if she misbehaves she can’t sit up there. Make sure she has toys to play with like squeaky toys, tug ropes, and chew toys. I have an Aussie of my own and he’s a very sweet boy but he’s still relatively young so he still gets into trouble. Just be patient because training doesn’t happen overnight. As for your cat, I’ve had my dog for almost four years and my cat still isn’t very fond of him, but she’ll get used to him. Again it’ll take a while but she’ll come around. Good luck!

  • My history teacher just made a mistake

She called John Adams John Quincy Adams

    SUCH A DIFFERENCE I KNOW 😛

    • Did she mix up the two people or did you just not know John Q. Adams existed?
Also John Adams in Hamilton tho

      • No! I know John Quincy Adams exists, he’s the son of John Adams and the sixth president, his wife was Louisa Adams, and before he was president, I thiiiink he was either James Madison or James Monroe’s Secretary of State, a lawyer, and a foreign diplomat. I’m a US history buff XD

She said that John Quincy Adams was the winner of the third election and the Vice President was Thomas Jefferson, and they were from different parties, which had never happened before. But in reality, it was John Adams.

      • Heyyyyy fellow Hamilton fan! That information’s not from Hamilton though 🙂

  • I think I might’ve accidentally submitted my clanniversary for the wrong month on the calendar thing 😛 Whoopsies

  • We had our robotics competition Saturday. For those who don’t know, FIRST is a robotics and coding program and it’s like super cool. They have 4 different leagues, I’m in the grades 6-8 league called “FIRST LEGO League.” I’ll be in this one for a while, it’s the last league they use LEGOS in. We woke up at 3 in the morning to go to St. Louis(Yeah, 4 hours away) and were ready to wreck the place. (Which is, uh, precisely what I did. I energized everyone, told a bunch of jokes, and while everyone looked nice and orderly for our group picture, I was sprawled across the front, doing jazz hands. Go Ollie! This is why I’m our group leader) We didn’t win anything, but we actually did really good and got some participation ribbons so yeahhh?
Also, if you wanna know how the robot works: We use a program called LEGO EV3. They used to be the NXT but now we use the new ones. The EV3 costs loads of cash, cash, cash. It has a LEGO looking block, the core, that’s basically the brain. You know how your brain controls you and tells you what to do? That’s what this thing does. It can control a number of attachments, or the extremities, that come with the EV3 sets. Then your job is to tell the brain what to tell the robot to do. You can create stuff for it, and attach it to the premade attachments, which is how it works. Our robot is two years old, and he is ADORABLE. His name last year was T.A.D. (The Almighty Dentist) a name I came up with, because we once attached a drill we made and it looked suspiciously like a drill a dentist would use. This year he’s Squishy T.A.D., because since we had to do some rebuilding for this year’s missions, we figured he needed a new name to go with the new look. (I also came up with Squishy. I don’t do that much work, trust me.)

  • So Arthur Weasley teleported to my school using Floo Powder today.

    Okayyyyyyyyy I’m kiddingggggggg
My History teacher and his friend had a bet- if the eighth grade won the football tournament my teacher would dye his hair.
    Eighth grade won.
His hair is now the exact same color as Arthur’s.
How will I live for the rest of the year. 😛
