    • It’s so beautiful! I wish I was there to see it!
I’ve always liked sunrises- it gives me refreshed feel in which I can start the day. A new day, where you can make a difference 😀

    • Wow, gorgeous! I admire the fact that you can get up when the sun rises. If I didn’t have school I could sleep past 12 every day.

        • Yup. I usually fall asleep at around 11:30, or an hour after.

My best friend wakes up at like 5 or 6 every morning and sometimes is up and about at 4:30. She falls asleep pretty early, though, at like 9:30 or ten, and takes naps during the day.

  • Well, I really don’t care who’s president.

What I DO care about are the president’s supporters. The people who think they have the liberty to be as racist/sexist as they want, now that there’s a change in management.

(I really don’t want to get into a political debate. I respect all of your political views. 🙂 )

However, those of you that might be stressed, it’s okay. 🙂 America has suffered through some terrible presidents before. Who knows, maybe the new president isn’t that bad. We’ll just have to wait and find out. Remember, the president has limited power. Whatever he proposes will have to go through Congress and the Supreme Court before it’s put into action. We’ll pull through this together. 🙂

  • Happy Birthday Moonpaw!!!
I hope you have a really great day and a fun time, make sure to eat some delicious food for me! <3
Also, have a birthday cookie from all of us, and enjoy yourself on your special day! 😀 🍪

  • Welp.

    Here it goes.

    Iceheart’s terrible opinion.

(I swear I’ve been so negative this past few days)

    ….

For American BlogClanners, this has grown to be either one of the worst or best days in American politics, depending on your views. The Cheeto (as I will be referring to him as) has won. He won a plcae that Abe Lincoln had. He won a place that good ole’ George Washington had. Aren’t you just floored?

And I don’t mean this to start some political argument or drama, I mean this to calm the nerves of how many people feel, in America, or not. I am American myself, so I will be telling this from the perspective of someone who lives in America, but anyone who doesn’t reside in America can talk about this too, seeing as this will definitely effect everyone.

    *someone throws tomato at me*

    QUIT STALLING

(Seriosly though why do ppl bring tomatoes here?!)

Well anyways here goes my two cents. More like two dollars. (HAHA I’m so funny)

I’m actually happy for the new president because it’s a fresh new leadership. I know lots of you probably don’t feel the same, but hopefully you find some hope! I want people to be happy and unite. That’s the only way we get things done. And there’s is certainly no lack of problems here in the U.S. Life is not about dwelling on the past, it’s focusing for the future! I know, I know, I sound like some Cheeto spokeswoman but hear me out please. Humanity as a whole has done great things and will continue to do so. Sure there’s some backwards people, but what do they matter? Nothing. Not to you, not to me, not to anyone. Discrimination will always be prevalent, in all forms, but it is a dying breed compared to the past. All that matters, is what you think of you! You all are amazing people, and I’ve been honored to be apart and participate in BlogClan and talk to the great people on here. Not matter your, race, gender, orientation, or anything else, we’re all one. I won’t look down on you for any of those things and neither will any body else here. I love every single one of you, and no matter who’s in the Oval Office, that will NEVER change.

I understand you guys all have different opinions on the matter at hand, but the important thing of BlogClan is that we respect EVERYBODY’S the SAME! Not one opinion holds importance over the other. Be sure that in this world, while some terrible things happen and go on, we’ll never change. We, BlogClan, will ALWAYS accept you with open arms. (Or paws, I guess? 😛)

So in summary, we all love and care about you and things may not be as terrible as they first seem.

I love you all! 💙 ~ Iceheart (Icicle)

  • In band, sections are ranked in chairs based on skill level, and you can move up and down through challenges. Based on my challenges posts, you probably know that this is pretty important to me 😛 . Not because I want to be first chair (which I do), but because I want to be a first alto. For certain pieces, sections are divided into firsts and seconds and sometimes thirds, but I’ve never had a third alto piece, based on chairs. Right now in Concert Band I’m sixth chair out of twelve, which is better than I’ve ever been. In Symphonic Band we already know who’s a first and a second since we’ve already had split parts (I’m a second). The thing about Symphonic Band is that they also have twelve altos, and the first six are firsts. I haven’t been a first since two years ago, before we had chairs and we sat alphabetically XD. Last year, we had a great piece for the Pops Concert called Summertime that had THE BEST alto solo, but of course it was only for the firsts. Looking back I probably wouldn’t have gotten the solo anyway, but it’s installed a drive in me to be a first ever since. Anyway, today Concert Band alto saxophones got our first split parts of the year (a piece called Candelight Carol, if anyone is interested). And mine has a big fat one on it. 😀

And we got two new choir pieces, one beautiful and moving one that I love, and a Hanukkah one, which is a first for choir. So while this isn’t the best day for me politically, it’s an amazing day for me musically 😀

  • I found some inspirational quotes I wanted to share with you all. 🙂

“Look for something positive each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder.”
“When it rains, look for rainbows. When it’s dark, look for stars.”

And the last for now, one that I think really fits right now.
“Be strong. Because things will get better. It may be stormy now, but it never rains forever.”

  • OMSC revision papers 😧
I mean seventy two questions. Seventy two. I didn’t even know you could make so much out of such a small textbook. And the answers – wow. I’m not even halfway through and I’m already on my fifth foolscap page 😯 (taking short breaks every twelve questions to stop myself going crazy)

On a lighter note, how many and what are the languages that you all know? I know English, Sinhala, Tamil, Pali, Sanskrit, and I’m self teaching myself French. 😄

  • To any Blogteam member this may regard:

My subscriptions to the blog are all messed up. Usually I can fix it, by following a link to a page (manage my subscriptions), but it won’t work anymore. Could someone help, because I’m getting more emails than I need.
