Ahhh random rant time…
So my brother and I get out of school at 3, then we walk to the nearby library and stay there for an hour until my mom can pick us up. But today is Columbus Day, apparently, and of course the library is closed. So we just sit outside the closed library. There are some other kids there, too. I decide to just try to get some homework done, which turns out to be nearly impossible. The kids there were super obnoxious and one even had a trumpet that they were playing just to annoy everyone (ahhh it was so bad). And my brother apparently didn’t want to do his homework “because it’s stupid”, so he asked if he could play a game on my phone. I gave it to him, and he played some random video game. And he constantly told me what was happening in the game even though I kept telling him that I was trying to do math. Then he got bored and gave me my phone back. And he started randomly talking to me and fooling around and being annoying. (And those kids were cussing and talking about… well… stuff they shouldn’t have been talking about). Finally, my mom texted me that she would be there in 10 minutes (since the one day the library was closed, she had to stay at work). And my brother started complaining about how he hated the library and asking some weird questions like…
If orange isn’t orange, then what is orange?
What’s the definition of red without using the words red, color, or giving examples?
Seriously… what is he talking about?
And then my mom came. Thank starclan. And now here I am ranting about Columbus Day and listening to Hamilton (why don’t I get a day off if the library does? Not fair, school.)

(I swear, siblings were made to torture us. 😜 I’m glad you got a bit of homework done, though! Next time you could try bringing headphones to block out his voice. 😀 )
I’m working on Chapter Five of Nightfall, so it’s not dead! 😀
(also my sibling said that a bunch of kids on their cross country team opened a sewer grate and climbed in and explored for a while, then other kids found a bagel on the ground and threw it at a wall and this girl walks over and starts eating it and the kids say that it was on the ground and she’s like “ok?” and continues eating the bagel 😛 )
So Silverkit has lice so the whole house is in freaking panic mode and I’m up here shut in my room because I am not getting involved with this and I’m just chilling on BlogClan and writing the next chapter of Walls Can’t Contain Us and listening to Hamilton and studying for Latin quizzes 😛 (situations like this are why I have a couple Hershey’s kisses in my drawer at all times but shhh no one can know about that 😛 )
