  • We were originally going to have another family come over for Thanksgiving dinner, but at the last minute they realized that they couldn’t come and had other events, so I basically just cleaned my room for 2 hours for nothing ๐Ÿ˜›

but hey my room is clean for the first time in probably a year

  • So im making a video right now and ill share it later once im done but the name of it is “Just around the river bend from Pocahontas but each time she says ‘river’ it plays the roblox death sound”.

    Oof
    OOf
    Oof

  • Happy Thanksgiving! ๐Ÿ˜€ (To anyone who celebrates it today ๐Ÿ˜› ) Iโ€™m super glad I came here even if Iโ€™m not active anymore and Iโ€™m thankful for all of you <3

  • Hey, so I found a few ways to help stop net neutrality bill. If you’re interested, take a look. You don’t have to, but I’d highly advise it. Even though this is a US thing, it affects all of us because many of us might have to leave this website or be much more inactive, besides if you have friends or family in the US please show this to them, it’s very important.

Net Neutrality allows everyone to use the Internet for free regardless of wealth or class. The FCC wants to stop those laws so people will have to pay for certain websites. To put it into perspective, Google is one of those websites. So are all other search engines, DeviantArt, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and probably BlogClan too. Those are just the ones I know for sure, but I know there are many more. Just to use the Internet you’ll have to pay.

Not only will this be terrible for people like you and me who use the Internet a lot, small businesses and artists who run off of commissions will suffer heavily, because both the business owners, artists, and viewers will pay to use the site. This will destroy a lot of their consumers and income, so they’ll have less money to even go on their own website. Nonprofit organizations will also suffer, because it will be much harder for people to even find out about them, and a lot of potential donors’ money will be going to use the Internet.

ISP, the Internet Service Providers, will be able to block sites they don’t like. There will be a lot less credibility when coming from news, and people won’t know what to trust.

There are ways to help, though. All info is below.

    1. Call your state representatives
    2. Write a letter to your member of Congress through a website.
    3. Sign an online petition
    4. Email the people voting on the bill.

    1) Calling your state representatives.
This is probably better for adults, so if you’re under 18 ask your parents to call. But it’s fine if you call too. Don’t call today, because it’s Thanksgiving and most people won’t be working. Call Monday or tomorrow. But call ASAP. Don’t put it off.
Here’s a nice script you can use if you don’t know what to say:
“Net Neutrality is the cornerstone of innovation, free speech and democracy on the Internet. Control over the Internet should remain in the hands of the people who use it every day. The ability to share information without impediment is critical to the progression of technology, science, small business, and culture. Please stand with the public by protecting Net Neutrality once and for all.”
Whether or whether not you or your parents call, ask your adult relatives who live in the US too.

    2) Write a letter to your member of Congress through a website.
There are two websites that I’ve seen that let you contact your member of congress online. http://www.battleforthenet.com and https://dearfcc.org/
Here’s another nice script if you don’t know what to say:
“Iโ€™m writing to urge you to keep our Open Internet rules based on Title II in place. Without them, we could lose the internet as we know it.
The proposed changes to FCC rules would allow fast lanes for sites that pay, and force everyone else into slow lanes. Weโ€™ve already seen access to streaming services like Netflix, popular games like League of Legends, and communication platforms like FaceTime slowed down, or even blocked. Conditions like this hurt businesses large and small, and penalize the users who patronize them.”
“The changes also open the door to unfair taxes on internet users, and could also make it harder for blogs, nonprofits, artists, and others who canโ€™t pay up to have their voices heard.”
“Please leave the existing net neutrality rules based on Title II in place.
    “Thank you!”

    3) Sign an online petition.
There is an online petiton that is getting very close to its goal of 300,000 signatures. You can find that here: >https://www.change.org/p/save-net-neutrality-netneutrality?recruiter=11464455&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=psf_combo_share_more.combo_new_control_progress_1dollarask111417

    4) Email the people in charge of the bill.
There are five people on this bill. Two have no votes, and we only need one more to vote no for this bill to be turned down. For a script, you can use the ones above. Again having an adult do this is good because they can vote, but it’s fine if you do it. Someone on the thread I got this from mentioned that Ajit Pai is the best choice, but they’re all important.
    Ajit Pai – [email protected]
    Michael O’Rielly – Mike.O’[email protected]
    Brendan Carr – [email protected]

This bill is against the Preamble of the Constitution, against the First Amendment, and will only benefit large companies. They’re trying to disguise this with Thanksgiving. It’s scary! I recommend doing everything, but it’s up to you.

I got all my info from here: http://wingsoffirefanon.wikia.com/wiki/Thread:561210

  • My older sister thinks she knows everything about Warriors. So I gave her a quiz.

This is what happened (well, the shortened version of it ๐Ÿ˜›๐Ÿ˜„):

Me: Ok, who were the cats that journeyed to find Midnight?
    Hollylight: Um, Brambleclaw, Squirrelflight…..
    Me: Yes?
    Hollylight: Um……
    Me: Do ShadowClan.
    Hollylight: Um….
    Me: She’s a tortoiseshell.
    Hollylight: Uh….Furface!! ๐Ÿ˜€
    Me: *facepalm* No!
Hollylight: *laughs* Er what does it start with?
    Me: A “t.” ๐Ÿ˜’
    Hollylight: Tawnypelt!
    Me: Yes! Thank you!
Hollylight: See?! I told you I know everything about Warriors.
Me: *shakes head* Yeah, sure you do. Ok, who was Fireheart’s kittypet friend?
    Hollylight: OH! SLUG!
Me: *mouth drops, rolls eyes* WHAT NO! SMUGE, HOLLYLIGHT! SMUDGE!
    Hollylight: OH!!!!! Ya Smudge!
Me: Do you want another question? Yes? Okay, who were Tigerstar’s mates?
    Hollylight: Tigerstar had mates?!
Me: *facepalm again* Well duh! How do you think Brambleclaw and Hawkfrost came along?
Hollylight: I thought Tigerstar was so evil that no one would want to have kits with him! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

    Omg…..๐Ÿ˜‚
