oh oh also I had a workshop today after school for 2 hours where we learnt how to pretend to swordfight for our play 😛

At school today my friend (I’ll call him Birchtail) had a 5th grade shadow (I’ll call him Pouncepaw). I was in Humanities, and Birchtail sits at my table, so his shadow Pouncepaw had to come sit at our table too. It was the reading time in class, so we were all reading and Pouncepaw had brought a book to draw in. I will reenact what happened after that:

Pouncepaw: *doodles in notebook*
Birchtail: Do you want to read? There is a cart of books that you can pick from over there. *points to cart*
Pouncepaw: *shakes head* No thanks.
Birchtail: Look at this book, you might like it. *hands book to Pouncepaw*
Bouncepaw: *looks at summary of book*
Birchtail: I’ve heard that it’s really good. *tries to get Pouncepaw interested in a book*
Pouncepaw: I’ll just draw instead.
Me: *Goes over to cart and picks out graphic novel*
Me: Hey Pouncepaw, I think you might like this boo-
Pouncepaw: Thank you! I’ve been wanting to read this book for ages! *immediately starts reading book*
Birchtail: Are you magic? *looks at me in amazement*
Me: Who knew? 😛
Birchtail: *sighs*
Me: 😛
