Over the past few weeks, my dance teachers have been working on picking costumes and music for our recital in the spring (or summer, I don’t remember XD). This is what we have so far:

My Street Funk class is using Five More Hours for music; we’ve looked costumes but we haven’t picked anything. 😛
And for Lyrical we have no music yet but we have our costume narrowed down to two now. 😛

Heloooo BlogClan! Tis I, the random blogger no one really knows or remembers. I feel like telling you about the Kindness Wars, so. Yes.
I am in middle school, but for elementary I took Spanish. So, now I go to the highschool one block away for more Spanish. I walk there and back each day, and I’m usually kinda bored because I get there a half hour early. The attendance desk manager is really nice, so I usually strike up a conversation about(what else?) books. Somehow, we got on the topic of my two week long absence in the coming weeks. I was going to Europe. (Mind you, this was in August.) She requested that IF I saw a really nice scarf(she collects scarves) could I get it for her? She would pay for it, of course, and I said I would gladly get her a scarf! FAST FORWARD 2 WEEKS: I gave her the scarf(light blue, shimmery, blue highlights). She thanked me, and said she had a GIFT for me. FAST FORWARD 1 WEEK: The money for the scarf and two giftcards were enclosed. We gave her the money back, because she was so kind, but she refused. CURRENT TIME: My family is going to use the money to get her “The Cursed Child”(or some other thing) and SO the KINDNESS WARS CONTINUE!!!
I did that with my friend in elementary school 😛

Okay, here’s a long story semi-short:
Some background: Right next to my Latin classroom is the boy’s bathroom. The pipes make really loud, really weird noises. It’s become a running joke that the bathrooms are possessed.
Some background for the history people: In ancient Rome, people used to think that demons and evil spirits could possess their toilets, so every so often they would perform chants and rituals to chase them out. It is also widely known that if you start chanting anything in Latin over and over you might sound like you’re trying to summon a demon or something 😛
The actual story: We were learning different forms for the verb “to be” today. They don’t follow a pattern like all the other verbs so our teacher came up with something to help us remember them. He told us we were going to do the school a favor and get the ghosts out of the bathroom. He walks over, opens the door really wide, and tells us all to start chanting the verbs over and over. So we’re all screaming “am, are, is, are, we are, you are, are!” over and over in Latin and it sounds really creepy. The French class across the hall is just staring at us and people in the hallway have stopped to watch us and some of them look actually nervous and it was hilarious 😛
And that’s how we banished demons from the bathroom while learning verb forms 😛
