A QUICK GUIDE TO DA POINTS AND COMMISSIONS !
Hey ! I have seen two people in the last day or so ask about this so as someone who has done a whole one commission I shall explain !!
Basically, DA or DeviantArt is an art sharing website. To join you have to be 13 or over
If you want to sell commissions you first need to work out how much you want people to pay for them !
100 points = 1 pound on DA and I think 80 points = 1 dollar maybe…. but idk just stick with 100
Points can be earned from selling adopts, commission or buying them with real money. Don’t buy them with real money. Just don’t
When setting up prices think how much you personally would pay for your art. Obviously do not start selling things for 10 pounds because… to begin with you may have a small following so not many people will see it
Remember to agree what you will and won’t draw. Some people will ask for some weird stuff and If you can’t draw people like me you wouldn’t want to let anyone down.
Then think what different types of commissions you will offer. Flat coloured full body, shaded fullbody, busts, headshots, chibis, buttons you name it just, have a look at what other warriors artists sell for a good idea
Now have you decided prices and what each price is for ? Cool ! You might want to make sure you have examples of each thing, and also make it clear whether you will draw the commission traditionally or digitally.
Now, you can make a commission sheet, an image which showcases all your commission prices, or if you don’t want to do that you could simply create a journal listing them.
So its all set up ! At this point you probably want to venture into the dangerous would of the DA forums and head the projects forum where you can advertise your commissions !!! If you have some sort of deal for whoever comes first that might help as well
You can ask people to pay before, or pay after. Usually I am fine with them paying after but I will only show an incredibly watermarked version of the image before giving it to them, because some people can scam you.
On deviantart you can set up a donate feature to collect points or simply gift them to others !
One more tip is to keep in contact with the buying constantly to update them on your progress. Notes are a good way to do this

There has been a massive search on the internet for the name of this song and the band who performed it that’s been going on for for years, maybe even decades, but we still don’t know.
We’ve only found the full version of this song recently, and the video above is a fully restored version that someone did.
People think the name of the song is “Like The Wind” or “Check It In, Check It Out” but I think it’s called “Summer Blues”.
